The food was average though a good size portions and the food was piping hot when it got to me I did have free starters items which was nice . Only down fall felt like the chow mein was too salty + Kung po lacked something as it was a little bland

Sadly stuck on the toilet with food poisoning. The only thing I tried to eat yesterday and tasted wrong after a few bites. Few bites and had to stop due to weird taste. A few hours after eating, and 24 hours later I am still regretting.

I have put a one star as zero isn't an option. Ordered a £50 delivery for my wife's birthday meal and after 2 hours rang the restaurant to be told that they delivered to a wrong address. Shambles.

chips are just your average bag of frozen chips from lidl fried. the ‘large’ size is just a regular scoop in any other respectable chippy/chinese and was NOT enough to feed 5 people 😭

Starter dish wasn’t too bad, had the crispy beef chips and rice, this was absolutely awful and stopped eating it. I would describe it as soggy under flavoured beef on soggy chips and yesterday’s rice. Will definately not be ordering again

This takeaway is disgusting! Ordered food here on a Friday night at 9:45pm. This food never arrived and we then had to order from elsewhere. We were up until 1:10am in the morning after the food said it would be delivered by 11:05 latest. After then trying to order the next day, the owner JJ (I think) refused us to order food due to us getting a refund of food which was not delivered to us. We told her about this issue in which she told us, she would not serve us and to cancel our order accusing us of trying to “steal” food. We are absolutely disgusted by this whole situation as customers to this business. My opinion would be to stay away, as you won’t get your food, you’ll get blamed for the food being delivered and you will get a lot of abuse when she talks to you over the phone.

The order took 10 minutes shy of 2 hours to arrive, the app told us it had been delivered about 30 minutes before it had been and the items in our order were wrong. The 2 missing items were for our kids, and they didn’t arrive. The kids didn’t like the food the adults had ordered. £60 spent.

Ordered on just eat. Delivery time kept being pushed back and they would have been closed by then. The app said food wasn't being prepared so cancelled order to then receive a very rude phone call saying they would now refuse to deliver to my address. Their customer skills leave very little to be desired. I wouldn't go back to them even if they hadn't said about not delivering would rather starve.

Food was standard. Didnt order much. Chow mein was ok, as was the crispy beef (said hot but wasn’t and was bland) chicken balls tasted good, spring rolls were nice and the curry sauce was lovely. The sweet and sour source was missing flavour. We did collection and waited 5 mins longer than was suggested and they threw in like 3 free items. Overall I would order again and we ate everything. Just wish the crispy beef was spicier.

Waited 2 hours for food for it to say its been delivered, so when i rang they said it was on the door step explained i have looked and it hasnt, they said they would ring the driver and call back, 10 minutes later no call back so phoned them again for them to say the food is cooking now and there waiting for the driver to get back so will be with me in half hour i asked why it had said delivered if the food is only just being cooked now and that i would just like a refund instead to which they refused and said the will bring the food in half hour I said its been over 2 hours waiting and 20 minutes being messed around and lied to I no longer want the food and want my money back. Thankfully booked through just eat so they are able to sort it!

Delivered everything perfect but got a satay sauce instead of curry im extremely death allergic to nuts had to bin the sauce & chow mien which had come into contact with the sauce. Never had an issue before so called to get it sorted nothing but got nothing but attitude from the cook/manager. poor lady on the phone was amazing though couldn’t apologise enough. Great food but don’t seem to care if they nearly kill you

Really not happy! After a call saying it would be early, it was late. Then I find that you haven't given me satay sauce as I ordered, you've given me chips & sweet & sour sauce. I then phone the restaurant- twice-, only for no one to answer! Our relationship has ended- time to find a new Chinese takeaway!

Just eat said it would arrive between 20:05-20:25, it actually arrived at 21:40. I phoned the restaurant at 20.40, to be told they were busy but food would arrive in about 20 mins. This obviously did not happen. To say I am unimpressed is an understatement!

my brother has ordered from here many times before without issue but i was very disappointed with the quality of food, chips were hard and tasted like they had been reheated, battered chicken didn't taste thoroughly cooked (the batter) and was soggy/bitty under the outside crisp. the curry sauce provided was very thick and not pleasant and overall wasn't much salt + chilli taste through the box. regrettably overall it was not a pleasant meal which for the price paid. hopefully this is a one off

3rd time in a row that I’ve had to wait over an hour and a half for food. They’ve lost a customer

Delivery was 40 mins to one hour earlier than advised, which would be fine if I hadn't gone out to walk my dog, it also was showing as out for delivery so I didn't know it would be early and didn't hear my phone for a while. I ordered pineapple fried rice as a vegetarian and it shows vegetarian on the menu, but got given chicken pineapple fried rice, after the delivery mix up I didn't feel like calling back to complain so tried to pick it out 🙈

Still the best Chinese food in Barry! Their lemon chicken is gorgeous and the food always arrives nice and hot.

Just ordered a munchie box It took pver an hour then wasn't hot chilli chicken with no chicken it was revolting, so sorry to put this up but people should know ,never again 😐

Food was preordered for 7pm as a Mother’s Day treat for my wife. I was expecting her home at about 6.30ish so preordered for 7pm so she would have a chance to change and relax before dinner. Instead she got home to cold food.

Rang and ordered. Waited over an hour, rang back lady said food was on way . Waited further 20 minutes rang to be told they haven't even cooked my order.

Very friendly, lovely service, secone time ordering from here also second time they’ve given me something for free however this is also the second time the food has been inedible and has gone in the bin. Clearly do not change there oils ect as the food was disgusting even the smell made me feel sick.

Absolitely VILE! Reheated chicken wings, reheated chips and even burned the poppadoms! The pictures imagine them solid as a rock and the chicken is dry to the bone. No flavour whatsoever. Tried to phone lady does not give a damn actually said "Its vale eats problem" Hope they get shut down, much better places around and we use alot. Trust me when I say....NEVER use this place ever

Very nice food, always comes hot when delivered. Staff are friendly and the shop is kept clean. Delivery is quick as well. the price is not bad, to be honest

I always order through vog eats, food always takes 1 hr or less to arrive. Their meal boxes are very good value, especially if we order the crispy beef 🤤, there's always some left over for the next day. Personally we haven't experienced any issues, I was shocked by the other reviews, maybe it's because we order through VOG eats.

Quite a large order for a few people.. expected delivery 8pm... 8:30 we call a few times and get nothing but Line Busy. 9pm we try again, a Chinese lady answers the phone and the second someone says that we haven't received and order she slammed the phone down. 10:30 and still trying and then suddenly it comes up and says delivered at 7:04 (3 mins after placing the order)... No contact at all aside from getting hung up on. Used this place for years but after the blatant lack of care and this it'll get there when (if 🤣) it gets there attitude has turned me away. Not saying don't order here but if you do, don't expect your food delivered to your house, within 3 hours or at all!

Where to start! I’m over my sisters house tonight enjoying a movie night and we decided to order a Chinese. It’s the worst Chinese I’ve ever had. The food was Luke warm, completely bland and the sauces were watered down to the point there was no flavour. I had an oyster sauce which was just flavourless and smelt horrible, the chicken balls were rubbery and didn’t taste of anything. Don’t ever go there for food. I would have had more satisfaction licking the paint off my sisters new wardrobes

I wouldn't even rate this a star. It is disgraceful my order arrived and it was someone else's order so the driver come back gave me my order and took away the other customers order to presumably use again even though its been in someone else's household!? Disgusting and as for the food I was missing 1 chicken ball they were as dry as the sands surrounding the pyramid and crispy. The egg fried rice was bland and lacked any flavour. The chips were cold and the satay sauce lacked any flavour and was full of water it only smelt good 🙄 never coming back here again safe to say that. Disgusting and shameful

The food arrived quickly and was hot. The spring rolls were very nice, as was the curry sauce, and the chicken fried rice was fine. However, the rest of the order was not great. The roast duck and mushroom dish was served in a deep puddle of grease, the chicken in the satay sauce had a strange rubbery jelly-like consistency, and the chips were just awful. Would not order from here again. Don't make the same mistake I did, trust the other reviews.

Delivery was quick and food hot..however, it was the blandest food I have EVER tasted. We ordered sweet and sour chicken, chow mein, chips, and bbq spare ribs ...the sauce was like water and tasteless...just made the food soggy. Ribs had barely no meat and what was there was very dry and tasted exactly like the rest of the food...of nothing. And no...I don't have covid lol.won't be ordering from here again.it went in the bin
