Lovely beer, we enjoyed the Otter. Friendly and helpful staff. Dogs are welcome. Great pub with a good selection of drinks.

Great service and amazing lady working behind the bar, really friendly. Drinks were a good price. Even water bowls for the dogs.

If you are a fan of cask ales and in the area a visit to this small old pub is a must. Locatrd in the centre of this touristy village Friendly and knowledgeable staff

What a boozer! Faaaaaaaantastic. Becca and Molly are two of the best bar staff i've been served by in a very long time. The locals are welcoming and very interesting to listen to about their fishing trips and they enjoy a pint! Right up my street.

we were welcomed with ronnie the bull mastiff. good local company and a pool table.watched six nations on tv.long weekend of drinking and friendly banter.got the t-shirt and will doubtless visit again .best wishes.four and the dog.

Featured in the Good Beer Guide. Out of the three pubs in the delightful fishing village of Beer this is probably the only "proper" locals' pub. Excellent value at just £10.10 for a pint of local real ale and a large glass of pinot grigio. This, compared to nearly £14 for the same elsewhere. Log fires, darts board and snooker table. Doggy friendly and engaging barman. My only disappointment was the telly on the wall. We shall return.🇬🇧🇳🇿

Was passing and thought it would be rude to not pop in for a beer. Lovely little pub, reasonably priced with friendly locals. Walked in with our dog, and was handed a handful of treats for her. Lovely little touch. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be popping back later in the week. Thanks for an enjoyable hour.

What a terrific name for a pub in the aptly named village of Beer.a number of customers wearing the black t shirt. A great choice of local beer. Friendly service and a good location

Shame! Was looking forward to watching the football and having a few beers with my partner. Unfortunately the locals let this place down. Loud, foul language… both in and outside the pub. Aggressive, loud, foul local woman sat at bar. I get that your locals support you when visitors are not there, but they also drive good money away when you could have the best of both worlds.

Lunchtime visit for warm drinks, lovely log fire and extremely welcoming staff. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend.

A oub with sky sports. A drinking man's pub full of locals. 90% of which are friendly and then there obviously the village idiots who we all suffer with. The staff are generally friendly and the bar is well run. When they do do food, the food is good quality and well cooked but they don't do food in the evenings or at weekend so be warned! The only pool table and juke box in the village so great for the kids before or after dinner

We popped in for lunch. Very friendly staff and good beers on tap. We both had the fish and chips which was excellent. The fish was the fresh local catch. Great value too. I would highly recommend for a lunch or just a drink.

Spent a pleasant evening in the barrel with various members of my family. Nice atmosphere. Good beer Only serve food at lunch time. (Pity) Only decent pub in beer now the anchor and dolphin have gone to pot

There was one chap on the bar and one girl waiting tables and the service was speedy, efficient and couldn’t be faulted. We had a beer (of course) and a Beer fresh caught crab sandwich each which was divine. The menu is limited would Highly recommend
