Lovely and tasty English breakfast, it takes a while when it's busy, but worth the wait. Price wise, well reasonably priced.

Ordered lunch via Just eat, when it arrived it was missing 1x sausage baguette, phoned to advise Barnstaple cafe to be told that the contract is with just eat and not the cafe and to complain there, reorder and pay again....I found this very frustrating especially when the order placed was for £40+ and the item missing was for a pregnant colleague who was really hungry, this was advised to the Barnstaple cafe but again told to order/pay again, for the sake of a sausage baguette for a pregnant lady I dont understand why you wouldnt just supply another sausage baguette, we even offered to pick up the item that was missing, instead of losing a customer, Big Baps is better all our business will be going to them moving forward.

The panini could have been so much better as there wasn’t any cheese in it, which should be expected.

order a vegetarian breakfast and got 2 sausages and 2 slices of bacon ??!!

Bacon was burned in places, undercooked in others. Part of order was incorrect.

sadly the butter had coated the whole delivery as it was placed in the very top of the bag on hot food and meltdown over all the bags and made a right mess and bacon was very over cooked, it's a shame as it's usually really good standards from them

Where to start meal cold, driver left on floor at side door couldn't be bothered to go front door ordered scrambled egg on toast with extra scrambled got fried as regular user of this place will never use again its got worse and drivers couldn't read or orderstand sign about door

Just an.update on my previous review. Been several times since then and it remains excellent on all levels. The staff, the food and the general feel of the place make it a fantastic choice for a stop. I take my mum in in a wheelchair and, with plenty of room, it is so easy unlike other places I've tried. Thank you Barnstaple Coffee Shop!

Cappuccino was bigger than the Cappuccino I expected, more was like a Latte. But it is okey because normally people like to have big cup of coffee with lots of milk instead of propper coffee. But breakfast meal was perfect

Great service and great food. Iced latte and chai latte were amazing! I had the tikka and cheese panini and my partner had pulled pork cheese and fries. Very clean and tidy too😁

The breakfast taste good, but hello? What about large makiato Coffee? It was just half full!! It is just sugar . I just wanted to drink for breakfast a cup of coffee

First time visit. Went, even though it was lunchtime, for the all day breakfast. Absolutely fantastic. Every ingredient was of the highest quality. My mother had scampi and chips. You couldn't fault it!!! Definitely going to become a regular place to go.

Everything was great,food was still hotnon arrival. But would of been nice to have more brie in the panini as there was barely any. Also states salad garnish,didn't receive that either. But what was there was good and hit just a shame was missing bits

Partner & I wanted to try somewhere other than Spoons for breakfast, wasn't disappointed! great choice of how you want your eggs cooked & white or granary toast we was also pleasantly surprised to find that we'd ordered hot drinks to come with our breakfast but these are actually free with the meal so saved a bit of money there. Good value, nice place, good food.

I always order this meal and today it came completely different. Didn’t look very appetising. The crisps were soggy where it’s been put in with other food. I literally got given a lump of cheese when usually it’s cut up and presented much better. I’m allergic to pickle and usually the pickle comes separately, but it was all over the food so I had to throw the whole meal away. Only decent thing about the experience was the driver was polite.

No sausages , 1 bacon instead of 2 , no extras that I paid for .

Food was okay but the hot drink had leaked all over other stuff should get better tops for drink cups and seal it down with tape four ways ☹️

This is our go to cafe in Barnstaple. The foods good especially the brunch and all day breakfast. They are busy sometimes but the staff are so hard working and as long the pot of tea arrives so we can have a drink whilst we wait we are quite happy. The cafe always seems to be full of happy customers enjoying the food and always has a good vibe to it. Their Bakery up the high street excellent as well

Really really bad service and food...never using again I ordered a baguette with bacon and mushroom they sent me a box of lettuce with cold bacon and mushroom thrown on top...no baguette in sight! Absolute joke.

Absolutely disgusting treatment! Went In with my mother in law (83 years old) took 15 mins to receive drinks then at least another 20mins for our food!! Eventually when our food arrived (cold) I asked for a fresh coffee for my mother in law (£2) on the house after our wait!! The waitress came back with a piece of paper saying we had only been in 20mins!! Why they had to show us that I do not know🙄 obviously thought a £2 cup of coffee too much!! The waitress that served us actually took at least 10mins to put her wee bit of paper in for order🤣 absolute joke of a place!! Cut a long story short they just want your money(totally overpriced as well) and they don’t give a hoot about customer service!! So if you don’t want an overpriced under staffed impolite reception don’t go!!!!!!’n

Stopped in for a cuppa, didn't realise it was almost closing time. We were served cheerfully, and polightly. Hubby had a teacake, me just coffee. Both delicious. Recommended.

Just had a lovely full English here, lovely bit of breakfast to set up the weekend. A no nonsense almost old fashioned full english.

Gave this place a go again after a bad experience last year. We received all the food but we were missing extras in both the bagels which we had paid for! Delivery driver was lovely though!

My food never turned up it says its been delivered but it hasn't & the restaurant said the person left with my delivery

I had a meal here recently, and when it arrived, it was very good, the only reason I wouldn't give it a higher rating is the time it took to arrive on my table, this establishment seems now to prioritize takeaways and deliveries over customers who just actually want to eat in. I will go here again, hopefully I caught them on a busy day, and another time, service will be quicker.

Asked for no egg, with 4 pleases in the notes & I thought they added no egg until I looked under the bacon and sausage they went out there way to hide the egg😂😂😂

Our second visit to this establishment and we were certainly not disappointed. What a refreshing change to be given a pot of tea that is of a suitable size for two persons.....Not one of those little metal tea pots with a flip lid that spills the contents everywhere other than in the cup as you poor! As before, our meals for £6:50 each were value for money, superb quality and delicious. It was also clear that the staff, all well presented, were also well trained in the art of clearing and cleaning tables, chairs and menus after use. We have frequented eateries in the past where there has been as much food on the floor as on the plates, but here the young members of staff observed the mess immediately and were actually sweeping it up...amazing! I do hope all members of staff are informed of our delight and that you continue with giving the highest standard of service that we have received of late. Many Thanks.

Food bag smelt like a cigarette smoke and food literally had just been chucked together and my blt had no tomato and lettuce and partners corro roll was upside so it all had fell out really and are sweet pots were soggy We are disappointed as we use this lot regularly

We wasnt sure what to expect! We got our drinks 1st, both ices coffee it was disappointing. I was wondering what the hell our food would be like! Food came out lovely and hot, and good quality. We definitely would go back, but would skip the iced coffee.

No white bread with order either

The second time I have ordered breakfast from here and the second time there is no toast! My food is now going cold while I have to make my own toast again! At £10 this is disgusting

When I first ordered from here I thought this is fantastic and good value especially if you can’t get out. I order for the children as a treat. But to be honest if your child isn’t a one year old don’t bother. You’d better off with a Greg’s squasage roll and a cake. Barely 10 chips stone cold and an egg just slapped on the corner and over cooked. You never get the bread it tells you to select. I could live with this but today it was shocking

Really enjoyed my bacon, egg and mushroom sandwich! Really hit the spot. Came warm, egg oozing out! Milkshake was delightful too!! The maple & pecan treat looks good too!! Trying not to order it again right after!! Was that tasty. Would definitely recommend this place!

Came here as a family of 6 and they sorted a table for us. Great selection of food and very tasty. Good portion sizes, friendly service, what more can I say other than my coffee was very good. Recommend this to visit for breakfast or a family.

Butter packets were thrown in the bag and as such everything was soaked in melted butter. I have photos but can’t post them her unfortunately. One gluten free toast and one ordinary, although they weren’t marked so we could risk the gluten intolerant member eating either so she missed our. Quite dangerous not to state which is which

Food was nice but a bit shocking when you order two veggie breakfast and one has bacon and sausages in it. Didn't contact resturant as we were starving.

I had a full English with extra delivered to my door this morning along with a mango, passion frute & pineapple smoothie. Delicious. I got exactly what I ordered and the ETA of delivery time was pretty much spot on. English breakfast, coffee, jacket potato with homemade coleslaw. Everything was well cooked. Perfect fried eggs! Many a time I’ve been to restaurants who can’t cook eggs properly but, it’s not the case here. Perfect cooked fried eggs. Very good breakfast at a good price. V clean inside.

Order was wrong. Unfortunately no veggie breakfast, but a breakfast with sausage and bacon so not able to have. Toast also burnt.

Small portions for the price won’t be rushing back

The food was lovely and hot and a good size portion, however butter sachets were put inside my sons sausage and chips which melted all over his food which was chosen due to no dairy. He has a dairy allergy and so he then could not eat any of it understandably there’s always a risk of crossovers in any place which we are prepared for but pure butter melted across his food was most definitely avoidable x

Pleasant staff with table service, very clean and well presented, good choice on the menu with all day breakfast. My only issue with dropping one point is the crumpets l had were not toasted enough.
