A place whose reputation is, in my opinion, overrated. I didn't like what I ate, dry and heavy and the welcome from the staff remained basic.

If the atmosphere and conviviality of this tea room are very appreciated, we were disappointed by the scone menu. A single small scone with chickpea puree in the middle of a green salad with thin slices of cheese and some fruit. We were not satisfied. It’s a shame there aren’t a few vegetables and a little more originality for this lunch dish. Going from two scores to one scone is a shame. Same thing for the single scone for dessert.

Superb English style tea room, very good pastries.

Very beautiful tea room, pleasant setting. The tea was good, the carrot cake too dry for my taste. The place is a victim of its popularity so it is always full and quite noisy. I will try to go back another time at less “popular” times and try other cakes to form a better opinion.

Tea room in its theme, the cakes offered are very good as well as the very fresh smoothies.

Very good but I found the salty portions a little small. Lots of salad and little else. Even when I had a dessert (large portion), I was still hungry. It was my first visit and I was disappointed.

Bapa pastries and cakes are truly delicious and famous throughout Toulouse. On the other hand, you will sometimes have to wait up to 1 hour on the sidewalk to get a place. No reservation possible.

A little disappointed... We have known Bapz for several years but we haven't been there for a while. Everything has changed: Cold welcome, unpleasant staff who make us feel like they're bothering us, bland pastries and pasty textures (uncooked crumble, for example). However, the setting remains very pleasant, but the Bapz is no longer what it was

Located on Rue de la Bourse (between Esquirol and François Verdier) you can discover this charming tea room. The slightly English decor is very appreciable and plunges us directly into the “tea time” atmosphere, the welcome is warm, the prices are more than fair for the portions. Special mention for the apple pie as well as the crunchy apple pie!

This tea room has only one fault: it is so popular that you have to queue to get a table. The very British decoration with handcrafted furniture, English china and club sofa is really very nice. The service is efficient. Today the banofee was very successful and the thick chocolate lived up to its reputation.

Easy to find near the Place de la Bourse, a lively place where Toulouse residents and tourists do not shy away from their pleasure.

Great establishment, too bad the staff are so unpleasant. I call to find out the flow, and the lady who answers the phone responds with a very condescending tone: “It’s full, like every Saturday in fact”. Currently, they do not need to retain their best customers. However, they seriously need to revise their notions of politeness. The kiss.

I found the place super adorable, the decoration and atmosphere was great. The service is also top notch, everything is served in pretty cutlery and a teapot. The cakes on the server are all very appetizing and we want all the snacks. However, I ordered a crumble and it was so sweet that I couldn't eat more than half of it, it was disgusting and it gave me a sore throat. After paying 5€ for a slice it saddened me a little. Maybe a recipe error? I would still come back and give the other pastries a second chance and because the place is adorable.

A very very good place to come and have a snack. The tea menu gives free rein to your imagination and the desserts prepared on site just as much. All in a very British and elegant atmosphere. A very good tea room. Finally, don’t hesitate to grab some sandwich bread to take away!

Little snack break with my 2 daughters this afternoon. We had a very pleasant time. The pastries were delicious and the portions more than generous. My daughters couldn't finish their nutella-whipped cream and carrot cake scone. Our waitress kindly offered to prepare us a doggy bag. Very large selection of teas and infusions for all tastes. Delicious milk shakes and smoothies. The service is pleasant, discreet but attentive. The place is very nicely decorated and the atmosphere is cozy. We will come back with pleasure.

Great place for an evening tea/coffee and cakes. The banoffee is a must try. Chocolate cake was nice too and had very little sugar. We asked them for a coffee with vegetable milk. They specially made almond milk coffee for us. Quick service and a cozy ambiance.

I used to get scones to go, but when I got home I noticed straight away that they weren't the same. Then no longer the same service.. unfortunately this is confirmed, it was not of the day and not at all the same taste.. I am sad about the change of owner, but wish them the best….

We see that there has been a change of ownership!!! Very disappointed...the welcome is no longer the same and this is felt from the moment you enter. It's a tea room that I loved. The former owner was very friendly and welcoming, we felt at ease. Now we feel like we're disturbing... The owner's sister has nothing to do with the previous owner. The strange and insistent looks from a waitress, the cold welcome, we have the right to touch anything... The cake portions seem less generous to me It's not obvious that the living room was completely empty... Unheard of for a Wednesday at 5 p.m.... We felt so bad that we just left... And you can imagine that they didn't hold us back... a good one almost... Fortunately the smiling waitress Lila is there... I leave my previous message February 2022. Super original and well received! The manager is very pleasant and smiling. My friend who introduced me to this unusual place confirmed to me that it was always like that! The English/flea market decor is particularly original. The hot drinks are good and the pastries generous. The tables are a little too close and increase the noise. This place is worth the detour because of its originality and its welcome

I love the British decor of this historic tea room in Toulouse but I was disappointed by the scones during my last visit. Otherwise, always very noisy, to avoid the weekend for this reason....

If you go during crowded times, you may have to wait a bit. The desserts are really delicious.

Very lovely to have mid-day drinks. Different chairs and vintage sofas give the rustic charm to the place. It gets heavily packed but luckily the location is big. Café is served small portion on a teacup size though for 4€. Not cheap, rather a little on the expensive side but the charm of the place is what commands this pricing I think.

Atypical and very nice setting with more than adorable staff. I had a brunch there which, in addition to being very generous, was also extremely good. I go there more regularly for afternoon tea and all the teas are excellent but special mention for the swirl which goes extremely well with a delicious Mont-Blanc scone.

This tea room offers a warm atmosphere, with a varied menu of teas served in delicate English porcelain cups. The pastries are delicious and generous; I strongly advise you to come and discover this place, you will not regret it.

Excellent lounge where you can drink hot chocolate and eat scones or other delicious pastries. The decor is nice 🌸 Be careful, you sometimes have to queue to get in!

THE unmissable tea room in Toulouse: very good pastry, very friendly welcome, pretty crockery and decor...

I was so disappointed with this coffee. We went there for brunch, we first waited 20 minutes before someone came to take our order even though there were only 5 tables of two in the cafe then we were entitled to a very small glass of orange juice, fortunately it was good, then 10 minutes later our hot drink and 30 minutes later our "brunch" plate. We came at the beginning of March and we found cherry tomatoes on the plate (is that the right season), the same for strawberries. Unfortunately the clementine had no taste, just like the cucumber and the apple oxidized quickly. The croque monsieur reminded me of the triangle sandwich from the supermarket but heated, disappointed by the scone which is actually dry without the butter put in it and the red beans, can they be eaten cold? Because they were totally cold on our plate. The only positive was the scrambled eggs which were very good and the hot drinks. The service was much too long, receiving hot drinks and 30 minutes after the dish is not at all pleasant, especially since it was cold in the coffee and I was not the only customer to feel that.

After walking for a long time in the rain we were kindly welcomed by asking if we had a reservation, which was not the case!! So I don't know what the restaurant is worth.

I like coming here, I tried the chocolate overdose today, I was afraid it would be a little heavy and cloying but I'm a sweet tooth and it already caught my eye the last time, I loved it! It was delicious, it was eaten very well ;-) with one of their delicious teas hum...the place is pleasant but it can sometimes be noisy because of the people. The service is perfect, they are very attentive to customers and friendly, thank you!

I have a snack at Bapz and it lives up to its reputation: the cakes are delicious, the waitresses are very friendly, with a very remarkable ability to manage the crowds and the hubbub! I will come back :)

The cakes are plentiful and really delicious. The service is very good and the manager is adorable. Often in line but it's worth it, probably one of the best tea rooms in France - from Paris and often passing through Toulouse it's a must for me.

What an amazing place for brunch and a quaint location to experience tea and a light meal. I highly recommend the beef pie and always make room for dessert.

Exceptional cakes! I recommend the red velvet cake. Beautiful, unique decor. They even have a Japanese style seating area, where you sit on mats.

Serveuse hyper bienveillante et accueillante Carrot cake délicieux et thé Bali encore mieux. Je mets 4 étoiles pour l'atmosphère parce qu'on a attendu plus de 40 minutes dans la queue dehors dans le froid pour qu'une table se libère.

Un chic endroit où prendre une pause, un café et un scone! Un café à l'anglaise ou l'on peut manger le midi, prendre un brunch ou encore une pause gourmande ! Et tout cela accompagné de tout une ribambelle de thé, de café et de chocolat chaud au plusieurs consistances. Bref, le parfaite endroit de Toulouse.

Bon et bien c'est joli comme tout et puis c'est tout. Les pâtisseries manquent de finesse et les boissons de goût, particulièrement le chocolat chaud. Ah Londres ce serait génial mais nous sommes en France LE pays de la pâtisserie donc non ! Ah ouai et 45min de queue pour ça !!!

L’un des meilleurs salon de thé de France. Et de loin, le meilleur salon de thé toulousain. On y vient avec ma famille depuis plus de 10 ans et on est toujours aussi apaisés quand on y est. L’équipe est incroyable et la qualité est toujours au rendez-vous, tous les jours à n’importe quel moment. Merci pour votre accueil toujours aussi chaleureux et votre sympathie inégalable.

Accueil agréable. Deux salades : gésiers et fromage miel plutôt bonnes. Les desserts sont peu sucrés : banoffee très léger, pareil pour les scones. On a testé les chocolats chauds, vraiment bons. On a eu de la chance on a évité de justesse la file d'attente dans la rue.

Super endroit pour prendre un thé et manger de délicieux gâteaux. Malgré le monde (prévoir de l'attente avant d'entrer) , les serveurs sont rapides, souriants et très gentils. La décoration est superbe aussi, j'adore l'esprit.

Client régulier, le Bapz, c'est cette endroit chaleureux où vous vous sentez chez vous, comme une seconde maison. Que ce soit l'occasion de discuter à plusieurs, ou de la jouer solitaire avec un bon livre, vous serez toujours accompagné de ces délicieux gâteaux et boissons réconfortantes, entouré d'un personnel aux petits soins. Il est mieux de s'y rendre les fins d'après-midi en semaine plutôt que le vendredi soir ou le samedi, auquel cas vous risquez de faire la queue quelques temps. Cela dit, ça en vaut toujours la chandelle ! :)

Les pâtisseries sont toutes faites maison par les propriétaires. La femme est super gentille, elle prend le temps de discuter avec ses clients. Je recommande vivement !

Décevant. Nous sommes venus déjeuner un midi, et les plats (plat du jour et tarte) avaient un accompagnement assez pauvre (petit pois, haricots, riz), à peine cuisiné, pas du tout relevé. Pour résumer, il n'y avait pas vraiment d'effort de cuisine. Cependant la part de tarte était bonne.

Première visite dans l'établissement. Nous avons goûté au scone crème confiture et crumble pommes. Le crumble était trop sucré à notre goût mais la pâte délicieuse. Le scone était incroyablement bon, et le mélange crème confiture est surprenant mais nous a convaincus ! Pas de boissons. A noter qu'il n'y a pas d'alternative lait végétal. Beaucoup de choix de chocolats chauds. Service plutôt agréable. Beaucoup de monde, nous avons fait la queue 20 minutes un vendredi à 16h00. Mais cela allait plutôt vite finalement ! Les bruits de la salle résonnent énormément surtout quand elle est pleine donc attention pour les hypersensibles.
