Excellent home made food. Lots of choice and fantastic value meal deals. Friendly quick service too. Busy but not crowded with plenty of outdoor space.

Good for a brief stop and quick hot-food. Jacked potatoes with beef curry is a go-to here…

Sunday, midmorning. The sun is shining the birds are singing. The food is dreadful...... We ordered a strawberry smoothie, which had the consistency of strawberry juice and wasn't that cold. We also oreldered 2 egg and bacon baps. The bap was really soft and fresh however the egg was precooked and kept warm under a heat lamp and the bacon was barely cooked and was floppy and gelatinous. I asked for some ketchup at the counter. I was told it would be brought over. And it was. A large dollop of in the centre of a saucer. I couldn't quite believe it. Needless to say I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend anyone else to eat here. There are much better establishments in the town centre.

Delicious food ,lovely spacious room and very friendly staff. I would certainly go again. Will go back and suggest to meet there with friends.

I’ve been here many times but yesterday was a nightmare, I ordered a full English.. bacon wasn’t cooked at all and the egg was overcooked. I asked to replace my egg this time was burned from the bottom. Usually bap service is nice but this time i was very disappointed.

Lovely friendly social place to eat made many friends here and the food is excellemt the staff are very polite and cheerful

Was left stood at the counter for a long time. Just got some drinks which were expensive for what they were but served quickly and with a smile. Didn’t feel that comfortable and needs a bit of TLC in the decor department but is ok for a quick drink. Didn’t have food so can’t comment on that.

I love coming here, my kids love coming here to for lunch, however little bit disappointed today. I got 3 meals for my kids sat down they started eatting, my little girl wanted beans as she saw my son eatting beans she is only two. So I went to the counter asked if I could have a small bowl of beans and with tiny bit of cheese got charged for a full sandwich £4.30 for my 2 year old just wanting some bowl of beans and little cheese. I paid it anyways as my little girl wanted it. I just feel like that was to much when they knew it was for my little girl. Also went toilet absolutely disgusting sanitary bin was overflowing to the point stuff was dropping on the floor not something you want to see absolutely disgusting needs a good clean.

Ordered my full English breakfast all I got was bacon two slices which is fare beans an egg two cold sausages and one piece of toast plus brown sauce plus recieved wrong order had to wait a little longer for ours because of mistake no mushrooms no tomatoes no black pudding going back to my favourite in town centre proper full English plus cheaper do definitely not recommend this place

Can't comment on the food here as we've only ever had a cookie with our drinks, but the coffee is always nice (not too strong and not bitter) and the place is always clean and tidy and with pleasant staff.

I wandered round Bury looking for somewhere to sit down and enjoy a small brunch. This place fitted the bill. I chose a wrap, and it was filled with any fillings , it was then warmed, and then salads and sauces added. It was truly delicious and much nicer than subway. I didn't want a snack along with my tea, but it was pointed out that if I took a snack, it would be cheaper. V impressed. My only complaint is, I was expecting to eat a small brunch, and it was so filling!!! All came to just over £6. Really good place this. Would recommend.

I've come in for the last 4years and I always have jacket potato and tuna and cheese my kids have the chicken and I always take it home at least once a week I'm coming here for my tea 30-40pounds I spend a week here and today I was so upset I walked in and my son was with me I saw a lady never seen her be4 she so rudely told my son to stop walking a certain way as she will have to clean the floor I was so shocked and told her this is bad customer service and its discrimination of my son who is only 10 years old and to say this is unacceptable I will never go back now you just lost a very loyal customer shame as you food is always nice

Just been in to get lunch on the go and I was served by two ladies there who really made my day. I was struggling to make decisions and they really helped me out and they were really kind, funny and friendly. I go in here quite a lot with my daughter and it is always great. Fresh food, lots of options, quick. Most of all the staff are always always always excellent

I work in Bury and pop in here for lunch two or three times a week. Very helpful and friendly staff, super quick and efficiently organised when serving the lunch time rush, really reasonably priced and the food is great too. Would recommend for shoppers and workers alike.

Breakfast was nice I felt like my egg was a bit over cooked but I an picky with the way my eggs are and my plate was buried in beans bacon was lovely

We visited baps recently I haven't been for quite a while and was pleasantly surprised. There is now 2 entrances to baps you can either enter through the millgate itself or from outside near to the entrance of millgate. There is a seating area outside that is smoker friendly. Indoors there is plenty of space to sit and a wide variety of drinks and snacks available. I had the iced caramel latte and it was wonderful. My son had a latte and it looked lovely. The staff was polite and pleasant. It was a very welcoming atmosphere. If you in bury make sure to pop in at a cost friendly cafe.

Our breakfast was rubbish. We ordered egg and beans on toast and bacon toasties. Our breakfast came to the table. My egg and bean on toast was awful the toast was only toasted on one side. My husband bacon toastie. The bacon was not cooked the toast was only cooked on one side. A member of staff but brown sauce on my husband toastie then put it in a sandwich maker and my husband took one bite and burnt his lips on the sauce. He said it was like napalm. When you see a member of staff heating food in a microwave,you know your food is not going to be up to much. Never going in this place again. We was so annoyed we just walked out. Defo no stars. Staff need to go on training.

Had full English and latte. Nice to get a breakfast not swimming in grease and all fresh cooked. Can't recommend enough.

If your after a proper cafe for food this isn't the place. If your after just a coffee then that's fine.

I would say my primary school dinners were better than this place very poor 7.50 for 2 sausage 2 hardly cooked bacon. N The rest of the play is just beans wouldn’t pay £3 for that

Very yummy and good value for money. Will often go back every time I go. I went around 2 and had a jacket potato. Was very nice.

Shaman and the other lady were really helpful and friendly, Shamman went through the different meal deals and drinks and was really friendly and helpful to all the customers, They had a delivery duty lunch time, but still worked really hard during a very busy lunchtime. Kept smiling and carried on a credit to the Bap company.

The bacon Bap was delicious the coffee was good but not very hot. It was early morning so the place was almost empty.

I have a chicken salad bowl. The chicken was not warm enough, the cheese was not fully melted. The salad was dry. My friend had the jacket potatoes with cheese, beans and salad. The beans and cheese was not even on top of jacket potato, it was next to it side. However hot chocolate and tea was okay

After visiting several times I am disappointed with this place again, they was 2 girls, the red hair need to learn how to talk with costumers. Pink hair 1 was totally confused and lost. Food was ok but need to be polite and respectful at the work place.

Delicious jacket potatoes! Just what I was craving, a proper baked potato. Great value for money. Potato, 2 fillings, salad of choice ( reminded me of subway). I was told to select a snack as part of a meal deal. So, Lovely jacket potato with butter, 2 fillings, lovely fresh salad, a white chocolate cookie and a mug of coffee, £6.70 I’ll be back, thanks guys 👍

I used to go here all the time. A staff member put jalapeños on my sandwich instead of gherkins then gave me 2 coffees instead of a tea when I told her she gave me a dirty look and tried to blame me for the mistake. Another time I asked for ice cream which was advertised and was answered ridley they didn't serve it. I said maybe they should change the menu and was answered ridley again. Me and my partner walked out and went next door to automatic where the customer service was excellent. We won't be going in bap again. They need to improve their customer service.

Literally the worst food We have probably eat

Firstly we ordered two all day breakfasts which includes a tea or coffee - when we went to pay instead of being charged the £14 for the breakfasts we were being charged £17.30 as I had asked for a large coffee. I was very surprised to the charge of over £3 being applied for an increase in size when it was only £2.90 for a coffee on the menu. When I queried this charge another young lady said that it was included and apologised - I wasn't upset at having to pay a small amount for the increase in size but not over £3. When our breakfasts arrived the toast was burnt on both breakfasts. We asked the server if she could take the toast away and replace it with some that wasn't burnt - her response showed "attitude" when she threw it in the bin. One breakfast (other than the toast) was fine, the second was not fine as the egg was like a hockey puck with the yolk being rock hard. By this time we just wanted to eat was we could and get on with our day.

Banging quick food not caked in grease, it's clear that hygiene levels are high so as a result it does not come with hours on the toilet after eating like usual food establishment places in Bury, so it come as quite a surprise when I stumbled upon this place. The staff are lovely, always really helpful. Always seem dead understanding when my daughters have made a mess (if they where cursing us secretly they where doing a good job because they still seem lovely). I'd highly recommend the peri chicken jacket potato, with all the salad choice options on the side with the sweet chilli sauce. 10/10

I gave this 3 stars as the food I ordered was not great but I suspect if I had ordered something different it might been. I ordered a sweet chilli buritto and the chicken was tough. The whole thing did not work and needs a rethink as it was bland and lacked any flavour. I ordered a cheese and tomato sandwich for my 1 year old. There was 4 pieces of small cheese on there which was not enough and the sandwich was not buttered. I might have had to ask for butter but that was not clear nor was I asked. My 3 year old has a sausage sandwich which again had no butter. The sausages themselves were nice which we all ended up eating. It was £18 in total for 2 sandwiches, 1 buritto. These included a drink and snack. I saw what other people were eating and the cooked breakfasts looked lovely. I wish I had complained but to be honest it was busy and my 1 and 3 year old were on the run so it was not a battle I needed. All in all however I would not go back as there are other places I would try in Bury.

I only had a cup of tea but that wasn't expensive.

Only had a Milkshake last time and it was only £2.10. Made with ice-cream and only 30p for a large from there standard size. Food really nice jacket potatoes r lovley plus comfy seats and inside if u wish now. I would deffo go again.

Clean and tidy, lots of space to sit outside. Staff member was very helpful. They don't do a skinny latte (I'm on a diet) but she was happy to try accommodate me and added water to the milk as they didn't have skimmed milk. Only a small thing but it did really make my day :)

Myself and my partner stayed in Bury for a couple of nights July 2019 and on our final morning after checking out of our hotel we took a look around town to look for a place to have breakfast and we came a cross this place. Basically it’s a place that sells baps and you choose what you want from a kind of deli counter a bit like Subway. We got coffee and brekkie bap’s and they were delicious and very cheap too. Staff were welcoming and friendly also. Would recommend.

After visiting several times I am disappointed with the amount of meat in the roast beef bap which was mainly gravy.Staff seemed stressed and unhelpful.i left and went to burger king where I was able to purchase a double burger,chips and coffee for virtually same price,and staff more polite.

I visited Bap today after work just for a light lunch and was very impressed. Seating area was clean and comfortable and the service I received was excellent. The staff were very cheerful and attentive, particularly Natalia who I’m sure would brighten up a bad day for any customer in the café. I was also very happy with my food as it was fresh and quickly served. Will definitely visit again and recommend to my friends :)

I have come to bap numerous times and never really had a problem. However today I have come in on my lunch break and there was a DEAD FLY in my salad. When I brought this back, the customer service was shocking and I just got a smaller more vile jacket potato slammed in front of me with hardly any other apology after I was polite and said how sorry I was to be a pain and interrupting the line. I understand the staff are busy but this really needs to be sorted. I am really upset as I have always eaten here but will not anymore

Been in here quite a few times and each time been treated terribly by one particular member of staff who needs lessons in customer service. I definitely won't be returning! Have now found a much nicer cafe to spend my hard earned money in and not be spoken to like something on the bottom of their shoe. Cheap prices however but cheap shoddy service.

Friendly and good place for fast breakfast

I hope the bosses know what excellent workers they have in Charlotte and Curtis. We went for lunch and there was a queue but those two worked so efficiently and we're pleasant to boot. This was not somewhere I'd been before but was good value for money and would definitely use again

Great value cafe. We had breakfast here before heading home after checking out of our hotel. Food was nice enough and not at all greasy. We opted for bacon and egg baps with a coffee. Both food and drink prepared quickly and was a good quality for the price. Couldn’t complain at all about the value.

Cream tea here is affordable and I enjoyed it. However, if you want a fancy hot drink, I would go to Costa. This is a basic cafe, which is reflected in the prices, but a great place to stop, sit down and chat with a light bite to eat. Been 3 times and no complaints, though I haven't had a sandwich so can't comment on the quality of the food.

Two coffees two breakfast £11 sounds ok until you see the breakfast. Cheapest ingredients poor presentation,when we complained about the rubber fried eggs was told that’s how they come. Avoid.

Went to Nap instead of McDonald's for breakfast and it was more filling and tasted better too. The tea was nice too, so I would recommend Bap as somewhere for breakfast.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Very comfortable and relaxed seating with tables at perfect height for eating. Coffee is tasty, not bitter, and they have a range of syrups. Burrows can be cold or warm, according to your preference. Children are welcome and are catered for with smaller portions. Warm atmosphere with music playing in the background. Great place to sit and relax

Set in the middle of Bury close to the transport hub this place has evolved from a coffee shop to something akin to Subway but at a pretty decent price and on proper baps, hence the name. Good drinks nice environment and quick service make it great for a speedy visit.

Come here most Saturdays unfortunately we have been disappointed on the last few occasions and considering going elsewhere. The jacket potatoes are really small and the Salad is old, soggy/wet especially the cucumber and gherkins therefore letting themselves down. The staff are really friendly and do accommodate however dont feel happy that fresh salad is placed on top of old! The area is bright and comfortable but the furniture (settees) are ripped and sticky. The place is generally busy but you can always get seated.

Don’t what it’s like in the day but this was st 4:30. Friendly fast service. Food was tasty hot Caribbean chicken wrap. Will come back. Reasonable prices.

Went in here for coffee with friends before going to the East Lancs Railway. The service was good despite the fact that there was only one lady serving behind the counter at a busy time! The place is clean and there is plenty of room between tables for people to get by without knocking you - not like some places! Will go there again when next in Bury.
