Bao Yum in City of London, Westminster

Decided to go here for lunch after checking the menu on their website. Turns out the menu is really outdated and they didn't have the vegan options I came here specifically to eat. Disappointing and waste of time.

Only 1 veggie choice, no ketchup, long walk for a poor outcome. Menus online are very old, overall poor experience

Nice quality bao’s, very tasty and the sauces are all mixed perfectly. It also offers a large range drinks. Perfect for a quick break

I often come here to chill after work and when I’m on my way home and to have a little snack/bao - I normally go for the Nashville chicken but this week I went more adventurous and tried the pork - it was super yummy! I like this place cause I can login and work with my laptop, there’s always good music on, and I can chill with a little snack - this is a little gem!

Located in the lobby of the Hilton Westminster Curio Hotel, we enjoyed a cup of coffee and a pastry most every day. Very nice staff, and a good place to rest after walking around London.

Cozy spare, but the Food was horrible. We ate bao and open bao and couldn't finish any of them. Do not recommend.

Went to the restaurant at 10:30am asked for two sweet bao’s - sorry they start at 11. Ok fair enough but why open a bao restaurant at 7am if you’re not going to serve them?? Tried again later in the day - sorry can only do pumpkin. Tried again the next day - sorry nothing sweet. 3 chances in 2 days - you earned your 1 star.

I got a take out meal here. Three different Bao. Really fantastic, just like I’ve has in Asia. I recommend it and I will be back.

Went unexpectedly for a quick lunch and had the most delicious and fun meal! Would highly recommend and looking forward to going again!

What a great place! We wanted somewhere to have lunch before a visit to Tate Britain. Bao Yum is just two minutes away and the perfect location. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff are lovely and friendly. We had the most perfect poke bowls - all ingredients super-fresh and delicious - followed by wonderful custard bao buns. We were also really pleased by the sensible prices. Great to find somewhere not over-priced in the centre of London. Yum indeed!

Was around the area when we saw this new place, so popped in to have a quick snack. We chose the Japanese pork belly for the open bao and the chicken honey ginger teriyaki and the kung pao shrimp baos. These were good portions and satisfied my snack craving. The taste of the baos were really good, yummy - the pork belly has a slight spicy-ness to it which I love; you can taste the honey and ginger in the chicken bao and the kung pao shrimp was equally delicious. I like the fact that there's a good ratio between the filling and the bao bun itself, this means I do get a good taste of the filling and not just the fluffy bun. For drinks we tried the healthy green juice which was very refreshing. Next time though I'd like to try the wine and cocktails in a can ;-). I will definitely come back again and try out the other baos they have; may do a take-away and grab a few wine or cocktails in a can and have a picnic in the park close by ;-)

The vegan beef was insane with the sauce that comes with the salad! Can never go wrong with bao buns either, and the server was incredibly kind and cheerful! Will definitely be returning :)

Absolutely loved my lunch at BAO YUM! Super delicious multicoloured Bao buns (!!!!) and a really great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Not usually a fan of baos but had these ones for lunch and I absolutely loved them! They’re so good.
