Bangla Lounge Restaurant in Dudley

I come to the Bangla Lounge every 2 weeks from Telford with my partner. It's always a great experience. The service is superb and staff are always so welcoming. Have tried most of the recommended speciality dishes, all are so good it's difficult to pick a favourite. The extra bonus is the 2 for 1 offer on main courses during the week, so excellent value for money. Highly recommended

We visit here on a frequent basis and always find the food top quality . Service is fantastic and staff are very pleasant and helpful. Always a good atmosphere there and I would definitely recommend it the best Asian cuisine in the area. 👍🏻

The best curry in the area. Consistently great. Excellent to eat in and takeaway. Food tastes amazing. Excellent prices. Never had a bad meal from them and I’ve been ordering from them for 20 years. Moved out of Halesowen and still order from them. Tried others but none compare. I recommend the dynamite kebabs, chicken Dhansak and pathia. My cousin was very impressed by the vegetarian options.

Food was okay but really not worth the initial 75 minute wait along with the additional 45 minute wait on top.

bland & watery food. really wasn't impressed. usually order here might give it a miss for a bit.

Delicious food, great service.

Ordered the Chicken tikka masala curry which the chicken pieces were overcooked, crispy and tough. The masala curry sauce was far too sweet.

well reccomended friendly delivery drivers, staff, also food is great lots meat, sauce much appericated,thanks for extra free salad, free mint sauce ect me, family enjoy it best food nd meal so thanks again 🙂👍😋

Quality and amount of food was good. Shame this was let down by being 30 minutes late. Would have been better if they informed us of the lateness also!

Always had great food here but this order was delayed by over half an hour, taking over an hour and a half in total to come and then really was not good. Both curries were pretty bland and tasted the same. Felt like a waste of money tbh.

Really nice food but the order took so long to deliver. It took 2hrs 20mins from order to delivery. I fed up by the time it arrived

I’ve been visiting Bangla for over 25 years and can honestly say I’ve never had a bad experience. The food is amazing pilau rice is like nowhere else. Meat is always lean and good quality. Bari and his staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is very clean. Been for many curries but Bangla is my absolute favourite. Doesn’t make a difference if you take advantage of any of the great offers the food and service is always consistent and never compromised.

Went there for a meal with family during the half term quite busy for a Tuesday good food great service reasonable prices with 2for1 on main meals.

Bangla Lounge absolutely outstanding food, service and value. Excellent staff, made to feel very welcome from the moment we walked in by Bari and the team.

I eat in the Bangla lounge and order take away, always good tasty food unfortunately tonight part of the order was missing.

ordered food at 7pm received at 920pm, not impressed,was barely warm had to microwave it, i could of brought a microwave curry from local shop for £3.50, not good enough mofos

First time ordering from Bangla lounge and sadly wont be ordering again. Arrived late, nan bread was tough and korma was unpalatabley thick, was like eating a tub of coconut. Masala chips soggy.

always a fabulous meal from here. Tasty, fresh & wonderful flavours. The combination meal is perfect as it gives you 2 enjoyable tastes.

Delivery was just over 2 hours. Chips were sad, soggy and cold. Korma was like water with no flavour. Rice portion was half full. Nanns were burnt and inedible with no filling. ordering from bangla for years but this will be our last time!

the Nan bread was very dowie , the curry and rice did not taste fresh and the curry was not spicy even though I asked for it to be. Very disappointing

Nearly 3 hours after ordering the food it finally arrived after not sticking to 2 updated times and then blames the weather if a bit of rain is going to affect your business that bad then i wouldn’t open one in a place that it rains 90% of the time tbh! No apologies for the food being late or freezing cold when it got here either! Asked for a refund they said they couldn’t because of the weather being the issue i would understand if it was thick snow but it was rain.. won’t be using again!!!!!!!

Me and my family decided to meet up for a meal, after Christmas to celebrate the new year. But we simply had no idea on where to go. On thinking I remember in my time, when I lived in Halesowen remembered this place. We decided then we would go and try it out, on arrival, my first notice was on how much the place had changed and not for the better, the floor looked dirty and also did the tables, not good start. I also noticed the restaurant was three quarters empty, one side of it had the lights turned off and the aircon was also switched off on that side, so was freezing cold. There must have only been 3 occupied tables, with a total of 6 to 8 diners, the waiter showed us to our table, the table was small and put such a position to seat all of us would have a been a squash. I kindly asked if we could to moved to a bigger table, but the waiter flatly refused rudely saying that the restruemt was full and no more tables where available!!!!!! I kindly asked for the manager, and was told that this waiter was the manager!!! Again this was advised to me very rudely, by the manager, and other guests stared to look across and comment. Me and my group decided to leave, but then the manger pulled another table over to join to the one we already had, this was done with words under his breath, and not very nice at all. As it was cold outside and the time was ticking on, we decided to stay and put all what had happened behind us. We then quickly placed our drinks and food orders. We all got talking then on our plans for the new year and drinks arrived. We talked for quite a time after ordering our food, it was close now on to 35 minutes, with no food not even a starters!!!!!!!! I asked where our food was, and again this “manager” came over complain to me on why I was complaining!!!! He went on about the staff are working really hard and they are flat out, what with 3 tables occupied and now 12 only diners. By this time we all had had enough of this person and this place in general, we paid for our drinks and left. This is common practice in a lot of so called restaurants, where they delay your food so you spend more on drinks, this makes them a bigger profit. This is NOT the place I remember and would not let a dog eat there, the manager is very rude, a 5.1” with glasses and beard, and a very rude mouth. If you are thinking about eating here, think twice, walk away and don’t eat here, there are better restaurants in Halesowen. Stay Away, rude vile manager and staff. Disgusting rude and a place that needs a good cleaning.

We waited 1 hour and 45 minutes for our order so this has put me off ordering again. The food was ok but cold which was ashame because it would of been alot nicer if hot.

having read other people's comments I was worried about what I would get, not the best Indian meal I've had ,chicken tikka masala didn't taste like one , some of the rice was hard and the meat grisely, no salad, mint sauce or complimentary poppadoms, on the plus side the naan breads were nice and the food was hot and it arrived within the time frame quoted

I love bangla lounge, never had a bad experience. However the delivery time was late but just eat kept me updated 👍🏼

food was horrendous, my chicken tikka starter was freezing cold as in just out the fridge cold. my balti was over salted and the naan was stale nothing was warm

First time ordering from here sorry to say but food was so disappointing no flavour, no taste to curries plus nans was burnt ,had oil drenched on containers will not be ordering from here again

Very average and bland again very disappointing. Will give them one last chance but seriously running out of chances. Used to be one of the best in Halesowen but dropping fast.

Food was lovely as always, couldn’t fault it. Delivery was an hour late and we even had to call the restaurant twice to see where it was, was told it was nearly there, 35 mins later still hadn’t turned up.

The forgot the popedom's last time and i have them another chance and this time they were late. Don't think i will bother again. i ordered at 6:55 and its now 8:45pm. food was cold and had to put in the microwave

Really not good from you guys and am unfortunately finding it to become more and more hit and miss from here. When it’s good it’s unreal when it’s bad only the bin gets fed

only thing that was nice was the poppadoms and red dips. rice had a horrible taste to it, the chicken tikka masala was like paste and not nice. seesh kebabs tasted reheated and everything was cold. even forgot my chips! which is like £4!! after waiting nearly 2 hours for delivery I was overly disappointed. and no refund from just eat either.

on the just eat app it has delivery time of 35 mins to an hour however it was in fact 2 hours. i rang the restaurant and they said thats normal delivery times. food came eventually, cold and clearly been sat for a while before being delivered. also the balti didnt really taste like a baltie and my keema naan had no keema meat in. most definitley will not be ordering from these again. my advice find another indian to order from

food was cold, the chips were terrible. the curry was inedible and the keema nan was like putty with no keema in it. very very disappointing

Chicken pakora arrived and the batter was soggy. We couldn’t even eat and had to chuck in the bin. Requested a refund but didn’t hear back. Garlic naan arrived stone cold and we had to reheat also. Everything else was nice, just let down by those items and the fact we waited over an hour and. Half in total for food .

when our order came one of the items was incorrect, was my husband meal. I called and they offered to replace the curry and the naan and it was here in 20 mins. was impressed at the rectification and the speed at which it was delivered. Thank you and the quality wasn't compromised was very tasty.

Food was really nice. Great flavours. BUT... I had a Paneer Saag, only to find a piece of mutton in it. luckily I'm not vegetarian, but I have real concerns for the cross contamination of foods within your kitchens. My friend who I was having the meal with is a Vegetarian and it's a good job I got to that dish first. Very disappointed.

Lamb dish was like it had had a bag of sugar put in it so over sweet it was so sickly couldn't eat it. Rest of the food was average at a push normally so much better from here!

The delivery time of the app was long nearly 2 hours, so for the food to be over an hour later than this is awful service. I rang 3 times to find out where my order was for them to then change the expected delivery time. On arrival the food was luke warm st best. There response was we gave you a free poppadom. Not the response I expected after 3 hours and cold food.

originally my order was scheduled for 8 50pm only to be told it was then 9 20pm and still it arrived at 9 30pm so from the original time 40 minutes late

Food is always amazing however not the first time it's been delivered really late, they are unable to cope when there are promotions on just eat. plus no naan bread arrives and I got chicken tikka rather than shashlik
