Owner always remembers that I have lots of vinegar and a little salt. Portion sizes great, family staff very friendly.

Never been disappointed by their food. I'd highly recommend to anyone.

Ordered regular size cod & chips for £9.50. Portion size was huge! Fish was cooked well in less batter, nice, and chips were perfectly salted, too. Great, fast, and friendly service. Thank you.

Been going to the Bamboo Garden for many years, always excellent food, never had a bad meal, very accommodating ie if you're taking food to eat on the beach, very friendly.

A big improvement from the Fish and chips in Eastbourne town centre who charge Extortion prices for poor fish and chips I did a bit of shopping in the big Tesco's about a Ten minute walk from the Bamboo Garden so was feeling hungry went for the large haddock and chips batter on the fish was spot on no grease the chips bang on could of easily ate another portion had the curry sauce lovely and thick proper curry sauce.

This place is bad I asked with no pees and small cod it came out as pees and large cod so not happy with this fish and ships shop please do not go and the fish was not good

Since the place we usually use has closed, we returned to Google to find who sold the best Fish & Chips in Eastbourne. Once again we weren't let down. We had a large cod with large chips for £7.30. The batter was thin and crispy, the fish melted in the mouth, the chips cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Always got my Fish and Chips here as best in town. Just been to get my usual and man serving and handling food not wearing a mask and breathing on everything he would have given me to eat. He said it was OK as there was a screen between him and me!! Madness. Come home for beans on toast instead

Discovered the Bamboo Garden today, the Fish & Chips purchased were absolutely scrumptious, we shared the very generous portion served !! Needed a walk on the Eastbourne seafront, as we over indulged. Thank you to you all for being so welcoming and making us both, so very satisfied. Other shops could learn from you.

Extremely tasty chips and friendly staff!. Don't get those two mixed up...

They are always friendly. Your order is nearly always cooked to order. Unless they are very busy you don't have to wait long. They accept cash or card for payment. They allow three people in the shop where there are a few chairs. If you prefer to wait outside they call you when your order is ready.

A very popular fish & chip shop with locals which tells you something automatically. Somewhere I go infrequently, not because it is substandard but it's the kind of food I'd only eat on the rare occasion, however portions are generous, reasonably priced and the staff are always very pleasant.

Rang to place an order as we always do on a Saturday for a friend of ours. They picked up the phone and said they wouldn't accept an order as too busy and they just hung up the phone. Tried to ring again to then be shut off again. Considering we do this every Saturday I wouldn't consider this as very good customer service at all. I get that places get busy but you can let the customer know that it will take a bit longer than usual instead of turning away custom. Dreadful! Would give less stars if that was a option.

Frequently visit this chippy. It's not my local but well worth a little extra drive. Very friendly staff, good prices, good portion sizes.

We ordered 3 cod and chips, one of which was OAP, which was a very generous portion. The cods were all very fresh and the batter very light and crispy; one of the best fish and chips we’ve tasted. We ate in as it was quite cold on the beach. We soon felt very warm from the friendly staff who gave us some useful info about the local area, as we were on a break at Eastbourne. Will definitely go back again and again. We highly recommend the Bamboo Garden. Than you for the warm welcome.

We found this by accident looking for fish & chips on way home with parking space across road that was free so went in saw they did a pensioner portion for only £3.70 each so we decided to try them to see how big they were and wasn't disappointed as they were not much smaller than what we had bought elsewhere for much more money apart from a few less chips which was no problem for us as we usually had to buy one portion and share to cut down on chips. We noticed both our fish and our chips were cooked fresh something else we were not used to. Well we got home put our fish and chips on the plates, and sat down to eat them. Wow was they tasty and also not greasy another thing we were not used to. So we would like to recommend Bamboo Garden in Seaside Eastbourne as after that first time of finding them we always find a parking space to call in for our pensioner cod and chips times two portions.
