Bamboo Garden in Eastbourne

We were recommended to the Bamboo Garden by several of our friend who used to buy from the Dolphin. im so pleased we tried this place. the staff are wonderful and the food is of the best quality. they will be getting our business from now on

I have used this chippy for years, nowhere else comes close and will continue to do so! A happy relaxed atmosphere with a bit of banter thrown in.

Takeaway fish & chips with sit-in possibility (quite nice for a takeaway! Even with an aquarium). Great fish and batter and excellent fish! Only downside is that tartar sauce is not homemade but from Heinz. Nice family business.

What a delightful family business! The service was exceptional, and the owner was incredibly friendly and polite. We enjoyed a pleasant chat while waiting for our order. The fish was cooked to perfection, big portions, and our special requests for no salt on the children's chips and just a little on the adults' portion were met flawlessly. We were even treated to complimentary cans of drinks and extra tartare sauce. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience! Mariusz and Marika

The best FISH&CHIPS in Eastbourne. I've tried loads and these guys win hands down.Ive used them for 3 years never had a bad portion yet.Batter is cooked to perfection and proper proper chips as well.In paper too which I like!Service is good and good prices too!!Parking ok u can always nick a space out front or close by.I highly recommend and I've got standards when it comes to takeaways.These guys have nailed it.

Best Fish and Chips in Eastbourne

A big improvement from the Fish and chips in Eastbourne town centre who charge Extortion prices for poor fish and chips I did a bit of shopping in the big Tesco's about a Ten minute walk from the Bamboo Garden so was feeling hungry went for the large haddock and chips batter on the fish was spot on no grease the chips bang on could of easily ate another portion had the curry sauce lovely and thick proper curry sauce.

This place is bad I asked with no pees and small cod it came out as pees and large cod so not happy with this fish and ships shop please do not go and the fish was not good

Since the place we usually use has closed, we returned to Google to find who sold the best Fish & Chips in Eastbourne. Once again we weren't let down. We had a large cod with large chips for £7.30. The batter was thin and crispy, the fish melted in the mouth, the chips cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Thank you for a lovely lunch.

Always got my Fish and Chips here as best in town. Just been to get my usual and man serving and handling food not wearing a mask and breathing on everything he would have given me to eat. He said it was OK as there was a screen between him and me!! Madness. Come home for beans on toast instead

Discovered the Bamboo Garden today, the Fish & Chips purchased were absolutely scrumptious, we shared the very generous portion served !! Needed a walk on the Eastbourne seafront, as we over indulged. Thank you to you all for being so welcoming and making us both, so very satisfied. Other shops could learn from you.

Extremely tasty chips and friendly staff!. Don't get those two mixed up...

They are always friendly. Your order is nearly always cooked to order. Unless they are very busy you don't have to wait long. They accept cash or card for payment. They allow three people in the shop where there are a few chairs. If you prefer to wait outside they call you when your order is ready.

A very popular fish & chip shop with locals which tells you something automatically. Somewhere I go infrequently, not because it is substandard but it's the kind of food I'd only eat on the rare occasion, however portions are generous, reasonably priced and the staff are always very pleasant.
