Waited 1hr45 was told on way I cancelled as it was so long Will not use again

Avoid like the plague. Ordered twice both times took over an hour for cold sub standard food and both times forgot the drinks. Rang to tell them and customer service is non existent. Was told can send them out in 45 minutes. Honestly go elsewhere

Can I just say The young lad serving is fantastic so lovely and so professional for his age . We come here all the time and it’s always been great. However we ordered 2 large chop suey rolls and had to bin them. Soggy on the bottom half and filled awfully. Our other meals were as expected and lovely but this was shocking

Order arrived on time but it was awful. Salt Pepper chicken & prawns. All hard with no flavour. Salt n pepper chips tasteless too. Really disappointed.

First time here. house special salt and pepper lovely. Prawn and chicken curry. Large portion only downfall was the curry sauce was far too watery didn't even stick to the chips. Apart from this nice food 😊

The guy taking the orders was verry helpfully and kind! He also recommended some dishes to try and they were absolutely amazing I think he deserves a raise

First experience here! was looking forward to my meal came to just over £20 delivered, and absolutely shocked what the consistency was on the sauce I got special curry & special plum, the sauce was like watery soup in both dishes, chips were soggy, the rice was OK, barely any taste as the sauce was like tap water consistency, devastated, won't be going back sorry, and was my last £20🙁

You won't find a better Chinese takeaway than this. Food is absolutely lovely.

Actually the best Chinese food I’ve had in Newcastle so far - super flavourful and fresh, big portions, and a 5 food hygiene rating! Only downside is my bank balance because I cannot stop ordering hahaha

Absolutely delicious food, served to your exact specifications, fast delivery nothing ever wrong with the order, wonderful portions definitely no stinting on the quantity,hot and well packed. Love this place my favourite. I had to tick all the box's on the food list as from what we received and how delicious everything was you just can't go wrong with your choices❤️

First of all young guy taking the order is the most rude person I have ever had the pleasure of coming across, then while sitting there for my order the way he disrespected a lady for asking do they take card payments was disgusting, my food was nasty, just sliced chicken rice was dry and overcooked with a spoon full of curry sauce noodles are slimy I won’t be going back -5 *

Been waiting for delivery for 1hour 30 minutes and still hasn’t arrived which is a joke when it’s only 5 minutes away by car! tried calling but can’t get through and when it did manage to ring through they put the phone down, absolutely shocking don’t waste your time!!!

Food came an hour after ordering, supposed to be half an hour, chicken was tough and some pieces weren't cooked properly

Food was far too salty, prawns like rubber, fried rice hard, I would never use this take away again, I got diarrhoea during the night.

Beautiful food used for a long time but the curry has changed and not to happy with it , it was perfect the way it was no need to change it its got a mango taste to it now I think

I ordered a salt and pepper chicken combination box and it had what resembles a chicken bone in batter inside. Very disappointed as Iv had to put the full meal in the bin.

I last reviewed bamboo gardens 5 months ago. I can honestly say it’s just as good now if not better. Wow !!! Started off with chicken & sweetcorn soup, loads of flavour. Then for ordering over £30 we got free chicken wings which we had in Cantonese sauce. Very nice indeed. My daughter and her boyfriend had the chicken ball combo box with gravy which is huge and cost £6,70. Me & my husband had the salt and pepper combo box with curry which was delish and also tried the pork in plum sauce for the 1st time and all you could hear was the sounds of mmmm!!! Just devoured our munchie box, it was delicious. Delivery was super quick! Will be coming here more often. Also thankyou to the delivery man who closed our gate behind him to stop the rabbit from escaping.😊

We ordered pork satay with fried rice and chicken chow mein after recommendations from friends. Food arrived within 25 minutes of telephone call so we were surprised that it wasn't particularly hot. However it tasted lovely. We've really struggled to find a good fried rice but we have now. We will definitely order again but maybe food needs to be transported differently to keep it warm. We would still recommend though.

Always order chicken chow mein and a carton of satay sauce and tonight got the order totally wrong gave me a carton of chow mein and chicken on satay sauce rang them up to correct the order and the sent me a chicken chow mein and Carron of satay sauce in a carton that you would get garlic dip in absolute joke not very happy at all it was a joke

Very poor quality of food. and over cooked chips. The chips seemed to be cooked in dirty oil. And i asked for salt and pepper chicken balls . Instead I got normal battered chicken. I wil not be using it again!!

Unsure about this place the 1st time we went until we discovered the combo boxes which nearly everytime we go in someones ordering also highly recommend this place

been ringing up for the past half an hour and you’ve been engaged for every single time, really fancied a chinese as well 🙄.

Delivery took over an hour and twenty minutes and when the food arrived it was stone cold and missing prawn crackers. We were told that it was a result of them being busy, hardly an excuse, ended up sending the food back as it was so cold we couldn't have eaten it

Return home with takeaway meal opened carton the meal was covert with oil ,my meal was a special curry with boiled rice , l have too say this was the worst Chinese meal l,ve ever bad

A hidden culinary gem, set slap bang in the middle of a working class north east community. The speedy delivery service is excelled only by the quality of food they dispense. Been ordering from this place for around 3-4 years now and I'm proud to say such an establishment exists on my doorstep. I've literally ran out of superlatives to throw at these masters of far eastern nosh! Their BBQ sauce is (imo) the best I've ever tasted, a bold statement to be sure, but nevertheless a fact! My personal preference is to splatter this divine liquid allll ower me special foo yung , which results in a taste explosion I have found hard to repeat when frequenting other establishments. Hats off to you all at bamboo gardens 👌
