Love this place!! We’ve had it delivered a few times and it’s always great, and the service with ordering etc has also been excellent. Can’t wait to go and eat in soon!

One of the worst Indian takeaways I have had. Lamb tikka starter was inedible. Completely overdone and tough. Chicken tikka starter wasn't good either; also overdone and tough but just about edible. Lamb chops also overdone. Absolutely no succulence to the meat whatsoever. Sheekh kebab pretty much inedible. Butter chicken is lumpy and the chicken is tough and overdone. Rarely feel the need to review in this nature but this was awful, from a lover of Indian food.

Delivery order food came quickly and was hot but thats it, the chicken was over cooked, the rice was under cooked the garlic nan was burnt and had no garlic and the dhansak was just fairly spicy with no sweet in the sauce so a poor effort on the food

Absolutely rubbish food , greasy, cold, no taste, meats as hard as rock, and it caused me sickness and dizziness after eating a bit of the food only. AVOID.

Friendly people and excellent food. We drive 30 mins to get food from here because it is so good.

Take it from an Indian, this place it the best when it comes ti taste. There are 3 other Indian restaurants in a stones throw away from here, however, none of them come close when it comes to the value or taste. One thing i would recommend : Balti special biryani (Lamb) + Naga spice for those who can handle it.

Ordered tadka Dahl, chicken tikka masala, peshwari naan, Gaelic naan and pilau rice and everything was perfect! They even threw in some poppadoms and dips which was amazing. So flavourful and yummy 😊

Our second time ordering based on amazing reviews on other sites. First time the food was amazing, best Indian takeaway absolutely. Second time ordered again, amazing food, delicious, their dips are so lovely and fresh (unlike other places that we used to order over the years), they added a puree in our order for us to try-wow so delicious. Glad we found this gem in Baldock. Also, their website is so user friendly and dead easy to order-they deliver too but we chose to collect. Definitely recommend

Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Mouth watering dishes. Devdas is a favourite. Came in for collection and saw phone lines and apps going crazy, but the staff remained friendly and calm throughout. Offered me a free drink while I waited.

That was, by far, one of the best curries I've had in a long long time! Got the chefs special raked tandoor madras with naga, delicious! If you are reading this wondering if you should order from this restaurant, take it from us you won’t be disappointed. We regularly order from here and it is consistently good, hot and extremely tasty Indian cuisine at is best , easily the best in Baldock.

Disappointingly bland. Chef's special curry had basically no flavour but a chunk of chilli heat. Word of warning, as tempting as it may be, do not add extra garlic to the Mushroom rice - it made it practically inedible. Sag Aloo was really oily. Trying all of the local Indian Restaurants to find my favourite - won't be ordering from here again.

Even though the delivery was late by 20 minutes, the food was still lovely and hot. There was extras within the food, I did not expect and was a nice surprise. This will keep me as a regular customer if they keep up with the good and freshly served food and the extra side dishes thrown in.

Meal arrived hot so that was great. My seekh kebab fell apart but tasted good. And we did find the red onion dip quite bitter. But in the grand scheme of our meal these were pretty minor points.

Impressive customer service! The best Indian I’ve had in a long time!

Lamb chops tasted a bit odd, like not very fresh. Chicken shashlick was ok, bit dull. Garlic naan was cold. Mushroom rice greasy, saag aloo had a thick layer of ghee on top of it. Based on reviews, it seems lots of people like this place (and why I ordered from here) - but it just left me with a dodgy tummy and 29 fewer pounds in my bank account. It's 2023. Why is there still no delicious food in Hitchin?! Feels intentional at this point.

Brilliant food. All 5 of us agreed it was tasty and well cooked. You even threw in some extras as it was a special birthday!

The starter was amazing. And my little boy really enjoyed the samosas. First time ordering from them as found them on uber eats. Not disappointed and will do again.

Wasn't as good as I thought it would be

I've ordered twice from here now, and the food is very good. The King Prawn Naga is delicious. The Brinjal Bhaji is good but quite spicy - if you like it milder, ask for it to be made with no chillis. There was a delay with delivery of the food on the second occasion, but Parbez went out of his way to make amends for this.

Meal was good and great value, ordered set meal for one. only downside is I was meant to get a chicken madras, by however sent me a chicken bhuna which was disappointing luckily I don't mind chicken Bhuna and I enjoyed the food anyway.

First time trying the Halloumi Pakoras, absolutely delicious and the Chilli Jam went perfect with them. Would highly recommend and will definitely be ordering again with my next order.

Shocking! Waited half an hour over the latest expected delivery time. Called the restaurant and they said they were manic and busy and would call back to offer compensation. They didn’t! The food was cold and the sauce was like water. Ordered a prawn curry and the prawns seemed to have been substituted with boiled potatoes . Disgraceful service
