Balans Cafe in City of London, Westminster

First visit here and received a very warm welcome from Dorian. Thereafter the service provided by our server seemed rather hostile and unprofessional. She bought the wrong drinks and made us feel it was our fault. Food was fine, we both had chicken shawarma. I would have given 4* had it not been for the attitude of our server. Dorian did a good job in turning situation around.

Late lunch. After a couple of hours travelling into London from Woodstock, walking into SoHo from the Hyatt Regency Blackfriars along the Thames, I arrived in SoHo famished realising I hadn’t eaten since breakfast ten hours before. I settled on Balans to have a cold glass of vino and something to eat. The service was attentive when required, and settled into the background when not.

We liked the location of this bar, where you can sit outside and watch the world going by. But the cocktails are few to choose from, pricey and not good.

Terrible experience. Food was unpleasant. £12 for an omelette that if I had cooked it I would have thrown in the bin. Tasted horrible. Extremely expensive and overpriced. Sticky floors and tables. Staff either ignore you or are condescending like they’re doing you a favour. Toilets - urgh. Unisex. Horrible to start with plus tiny and dirty. This has to be one of the worst cafe experiences I’ve ever had anywhere in the world! To read the description above is a joke! I think management/ head office need to have some anonymous customers here to experience what it’s really like! Never again.

Stopped here for some drinks to watch the world go the cocktail was good and service was friendly . We noticed some food coming out of the kitchen which looked good . The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is when you pay the bill they have already added gratuity then they ask for more so for me it’s either one or the other .

Where should I start .the blond haired manager seem unhappy when she took us to our table no smile at all . despite being one of the first customers we didn't feel welcomed.The place lacked atmosphere it was empty and when the food came my potatoes were dry and very hard and the steak tasted old.my friend had the lobster and it didn't feel fresh at all.the side were poorly served on small plates the presentation was terrible.overall we will. It comes back

Amazing food, great drinks and fantastic atmosphere. A London staple! Eggs in hell are my favourite as well as the rogue passion cocktail!

After I complained about a bad service, the staff member (Ovidiu) told me that I should write a bad review about him (kind of a joke/challenge) and here I am...shame on you.

Food is really good and coctails are amazing, well...unfortunately can’t say the same about the service. our waiter was just rude, very abrupt - he definetely wasn’t having a good day .

First time back after lockdown. We are sat in a tent in Old Compton Street, there are plenty of heaters so it’s warm. Service as ever is fantastic and the atmosphere a reminder of 2 years ago. Food always good here and we are looking forward to our Balans Burger. It’s Saturday of a bank holiday and the queue to get our seat was about 15-20 minutes. We will be back and hopefully we will be sat at the seat in the window watching the world go by whilst drinking wine and sampling the fabulous menu.

I want to share my experience in Soho, even though was a busy area, I and my partner had a great time. We had a burger and amazing Vegan pancakes. Our server Natalia was polite and very attentive,  she also suggested us some nice cocktails afterward. We will be definitely coming back.

I’ve been at the Balans, in Soho, two days ago with three friends and I had so much fun! The staff is amazing, really friendly, nice and well organised - especially Haythem! The cocktails are really good. If you want to have a good time - with your friends or even alone - definitely go there. I recommend it 10/10!!!

Total rip off. Expensive drinks served with dirty glasses and service charge lumped on top. When questioned the dirty glass was told it was just water marks from glass washer with ride attitude ...no excuse!!!! Won't be going back.Go to bar soho . Much better!!!

I really enjoyed the eggs in hell - poached eggs and crispy potatoes in spicy tomato sauce. We found the waitresses to be very efficient and cheerful. Would prefer if they didn’t force you to download the NHS app and would allow you to give contact details on paper instead, but a lot of places in the area are doing the same.

Came here for some Cocktails, was greeted by the lovely Daniel who seated us swiftly and also recommend the perfect cocktail for us. Will definitely be back and thank you again for the lovely service!

This place serves the best cooked breakfast you’ll find.Often when eating out there will be something on the plate you don’t like or isn’t cooked well. That’s not the case here.The breakfast served at Balans Soho is amazing, time after time it’s perfect.

La comida y el servicio eran buenos y el personal era amable y eficiente. El menú es normal, nada destaca para sorprenderte, ¡perfecto para un almuerzo o una cena rápidos!

Parece ser muy popular pero la comida no es buena. Tuve el bagel de salmón y el pan estaba duro como una piedra, ni siquiera pude cortarlo con el cuchillo, así que lo dejé en el plato. Tal vez sea un buen lugar para tomar un cóctel, pero definitivamente no para comer.

The food was okay though the pan fried chicken was under-salted.Cocktails were pretty bad. One was made without figs -an essential ingredient - as apparently they'd run out and was too sour as a result.It first arrived with an ant on the mint. The other cocktail was overly sweet. Staff were friendly and trying their best but run off their feet. On the plus side the atmosphere was relaxed and vibrant.

The food quite pleasant, unremarkable, priced OK, not trying too hard to be clever or very innovatory. The service (and I'm talking about a total of five individuals here), not always either very welcoming or relaxed, in fact a bit glum. The atmosphere and decor too much relying on how things and people were about twenty years ago.But the main problem for me was that about 6 pm they turned the lights down until you could hardly see across the table. Why? Why? Is it so that you can't see the food you're eating? Or each other? We had ordered our mains before then, though we could hardly see it in the gloom when it arrived. The dessert menu came without a torch to help us read it, so we saved our money.

Es un pequeño restaurante encantador y tiene una bonita decoración y el personal fue muy bueno, muy servicial y amable.Tienen una buena selección de bares y vinos, y aunque no es un gran menú, hay muchas opciones.La comida era deliciosa, tuve el plato tailandés de pollo rojo y fue increíble. El tamaño de las porciones era bueno y mi esposa estaba muy entusiasmada con las papas fritas triples que dijo que eran increíbles.En general, una excelente ubicación en el centro de Soho y un gran ambiente. Nosotros definitivamente estaremos de vuelta.

Arriba en la ciudad desde los palos, por lo que siempre es bueno poder ser abiertamente una pareja gay en un buen lugar de Londres. He estado aquí antes, siempre me gustó la escena y la multitud, pero no siempre la comida. Esta vez, contento de tener un camarero amable y dos comidas agradables y buenos cócteles. En general, una gran noche y ayuda que muchos de los otros clientes sean tan guapos.

Conocí a un amigo para un almuerzo tardío aquí y me sorprendió gratamente. La hamburguesa era excelente y la tarta de queso al horno muy bueno también. El servicio fue bueno y definitivamente volveré a comer allí la próxima vez que cierre

Regresamos a este restaurante cada visita a Londres. El personal crea un ambiente tan amigable y relajado. Comida y servicio fantástico. Lo recomiendo ya que la cocina permanece abierta hasta la medianoche y funciona después del teatro

My husband and I decided to go for some late night food after going to the theatre and stumbled across this delightful little gaff in Soho. Paul, our waiter, was very professional and approachable and so so helpful! All the staff were friendly to be fair and the ambience was relaxed and upbeat. Food was delicious and we highly recommend the burger, thai red curry and the manchego and Serrano ham croquette (so delicious that we ordered a second one!). Highly recommend and will visit again next time we’re in the area! Thanks guys! X

Nice little cafe to watch the world go by!! Fresh orange juice and 5 star coffee start the party. Eggs benedict with smoked salmon and spinach absolutely gorgeous ... in fact so good we went back and did it the following day Haha!!!

It says a lot when a customer remains your customer. And I've remained a customer at this cafe for many years. It's situated 5min walk away from Oxford Street and Trafalgar Square so a perfect pit stop from shopping or sightseeing. The food has always been good - refreshing the menu from time to time whilst keeping their classic dishes, like the huge Balans burger! This particular night I had the fish and chips. The batter was crispy and the fish was perfectly cooked - not dried out and with a taste that made it clear it was fresh. They have also been very accommodating in making small alterations to a dish for my friends who have certain food allergies or dislikes. The salted caramel ice-cream was my dessert, which was very tasty, though I like mine a little more salty than this, so this should be to most people's taste. Though I must say, I'm A HUGE fan of their cheesecakes! Sometimes I just come for a slice of this, haha! I've never had a problem with the service, which is always polite in my experience. If I've ever had to wait, it's only because they are having a busier time, but then, that's what you sometimes get for being in a London cafe in Soho! Finally just to say, if I have ever complained about a dish not being good, they have been good to understand and replace it. Honestly, my friend's and family love this cafe too so I'll keep recommending it and keep coming. I don't often write positive reviews but after years of coming here, I thought it was about time. Thank you.

Went with friends after a meeting for a bite and ordered egg benedicts with salmon. I received the dish with bacon instead of salmon. When mentioned to waiter, he took it away and after few minutes brought dish back to me; salmon was there but fish was same one tasting bacon and the muffins and sauce were very cold. I was totally disappointed, specially because I don't eat pork (and food taste pork) and nobody apologised for the mistake.

We shared some cheese quesadillas and were offered avocado and sour cream with them - they were delicious!

One of my favourite spots in Soho since very long time. Friendly service and lovely food all day long.

Balans has been my regular late night eatery for the past 5 years, and all I can say is I can never fault the place. The steak and eggs and the Thai Green Curry have always been the reason I return, the food is great and consistently up to standard. On top of this, the service is perfect. Tamara and Ovidiu are the epitome of customer service and I honestly have not a bad word to say about them. They always personalise their service make me feel comfortable, and go beyond their duty to ensure I enjoy my experience. They are also the reason I return to the restaurant so frequently, easily one of my favourite restaurants in London.

Used to come here for lunch past few years. Service was always meh but acceptable.

I arrived entirely too early for Aladdin and went around the corner and found this wonderful spot. When I popped my head in and was immediately greeted with friendly people asking if I’d like something, I knew I was in the place I needed to stop in. Initially I only wanted a cappuccino, but when I saw the menu I was hooked and knew I wouldn’t be leaving without some food. It was obviously lunch time but the Eggs Benedict sounded too good to pass up and thankfully they have all day breakfast! I didn’t feel rushed, quite the opposite. The people next to me were friendly, too, so the whole experience was fab! I’m still sitting here, no one made me feel like I should go after finishing so I’ve been allowed a relaxing break from all my morning walking. Thank you to this cafe for being a wonderfully unexpected part of my weekend adventure! Cheers!

Been to this restaurant a number of times over the last few months and have nothing but praise for the service the atmosphere and the food quality. We have tried a number of meals since going there and each one was great. We now only go after midnight as there is a different menu before then and we prefer the one they give after. As I said food is great and is reasonably priced.

Was in Balans last week. The food and drink were delicious, and the service second to none. We started off with some cocktails and then had some small plates. Just the right amount of food to share or snack on.

Tengo un par de veces antes. Pero fuimos a almorzar en silencio - es domingo por la tarde. El personal era bastante rápido y atento. Y, me gusta la decoración y el ambiente general del establecimiento. El biggie, desafortunadamente es la comida decepcionante (subestimación masiva).

He sido un cliente habitual aquí durante muchos años, ya que vivo en la localidad y siempre ha sido bueno para un desayuno el fin de semana o antes de una reunión tardía. El personal es amable y siempre te hace sentir mucho más bienvenido que su relación posher en la calle (restaurante Balans). Lamentablemente, la calidad de la comida ha disminuido en los últimos años y alcanzó un nuevo mínimo cuando visité el fin de semana pasado. Me sentía saludable, así como salmón ordinario y huevos revueltos, como lo he hecho muchas veces en el pasado, pero en lugar de salmón ahumado, los huevos se servían con salmón enlatado en puré. ¡Qué broma (especialmente por el precio ... que ha subido)! Muy mal espectáculo: -

One of the worst experiences I've had anywhere in London. Terrible security guard working on the door (I think it's always the same guy working there in the evenings lately). Extremely rude and behaves like a thug. I don't understand how you can have security like this working outside of a breakfast place/restaurant establishment. It's not a high end nightclub or a strip club, although I'm sure the security there is more respectful than at Balans Soho Society Cafe. This guy kicked me and my friend out because we went over to talk to a friend of ours at a next door table, claiming we need to stop disturbing the customers and when we tried to explain he threw us out. Also taking into consideration that neither of us drink so we weren't behaving in any disorderly fashion. The staff didn't react in any way which I thought was amazing and just ignored or agreed with his behavior. On top of that the service and the attitude from the staff was rushed, condescending and somewhat arrogant when I went there. We were rushed to order and treated with scorn when inquiring politely about the menu and the food options. I won't be coming back here ever again and neither will several other people I know. I've actually seen this happen several times and hearing similar experiences from friends as well as seeing some of the other reviews that reflect my own experience. As usual though all one can expect is an apology and then things will continue as they were which is a shame as many people I know don't want to return to Balans due to the lowered quality and the service both from the staff and the security on the door. It's amazing to me that places like this just keep going with the same behavior (and don't change security or staff) considering they work in the service industry so they should rely on returning customers and reputation. Maybe Balans doesn't really care about that which is too bad for them. There are plenty of other late night restaurants and cafes with much better service, food, staff and without disrespectful security guards who act like they are guarding a high end bank. This place is overrated, hyped up and truly not worth it from my experience.

Went for brunch and coffee with a friend as we do quite often. We always say we should go somewhere new but the food is lovely and the coffee is fantastic.

Dropped by for a cocktail and glass of wine. Not the usual list of cocktails but helpfully advises they can do classic cocktails from £8.50. Be warned though the actual cost of a long island Iced Tea equated to £12.50 and to add insult to injury it was a mediocre one at that. Very disappointing and won't be heading back again any time soon.

After a considerable amount of walking, we popped in here for a pit stop. We sat on the high stalls by the window, which are in a great position for people watching. The service was friendly, our drinks and snacks were very nice, all round pleasant experience.

Went here late on weekday after drinks in the surrounding area. The staff were a delight to deal with from the moment we arrived. The drinks and food were great. Looking forward to going again.

You know when you are in the right place when you don't feel like eating exactly what's on the menu and the waitress is so attentive that makes some exceptions to the menu to get the customer happy.

We came here as a group of 3 people on Saturday, it was not busy. When the waiter a guy who always works at nights and has been there a long time came to take our order I politely asked if he could ask the kitchen about a dietary requirement to which I was told no this is the menu you order what’s on this in a rude manner. As a restaurant manager myself I was in shock. I tried to get the managers attention who seemed to be arguing with the kitchen staff through the pass. We got up and walked out. Never again will I visit this place and I will make sure all the people I have recommended it to over the years as I was a regular for 10 years know exactly what happened. Save yourself the time and don’t visit here....

We went to Balans late night Sunday for dinner . Had to wait for food more then 30min (wasnt busy ). Waiter Pedro apologise and keep us updated when food will be ready . When mains arrived (all in different time ) we still didn't receive starter for one of our colleague. We called manager , and here was our problem . "Manager" I think Tamara cos this was on check came to table without any clue what is going on . As manager we could expect that she will notice that we've been waiting too long for food and then that starter didn't came at all. She was rude , very unprofessional, her attitude was ridiculous. I've never been in place where manager is so extremely bad . Security man made a great job , he apologise us and try to solve problem - thank you for that.

Visited for Saturday brunch. When we entered, I told an employee (grey hair, black shirt, potentially the manager) that we had a reservation. He just stared at us and proceeded to rudely say ‘uh - under which name?’ The food was decent - although they have no tea/coffee menu which leaves you guessing the price and options. We were also rushed, despite there being many empty tables and not a single person waiting. 5-10 minutes after finishing the same employee asked us if we wanted anything else, to which we replied no and he gave us the bill. He quickly came with a card machine before we had a chance to properly look at the receipt. My friend stated the amount she wished to pay, holding her card and was met with the same impatient stare. He repeated what she had said and stated rudely ‘the card please’ and reiterated ‘you need to give me your card.’ Both instances signalled impatience, rudeness and a lack of respect for customers. When we gave this feedback to another colleague on our way out he made excuses for the behaviour and failed to apologise on behalf of his coworker. I would therefore not recommend this place at all.

My friend and I had brunch here, in part owing to the strong reviews it had online. Unfortunately, as soon as we arrived, we received very patronising, rude service and this shaped the experience for us. We feel that this service may in part have been because we are two young women. What appeared to me the manager (as he was dressed differently) greeted us very rudely when asking for our reservation, snapping at my friend. As soon as we had finished eating, rather than wait for us to ask for the bill, he slapped it down on the table. About 20 seconds later, he arrived with a card machine looking expectedly, despite neither of us having got our cards out. When I asked to pay, he pulled a face and said 'give me your card then." His manner was highly aggressive and rude and I would not recommend visiting this place due to him. We brought up his behaviour with a colleague of his when leaving and they said 'he doesn't mean it' before we prompted them to apologise. Despite the food being fairly good, there are lots of great places to eat in Soho and I wouldn't recommend this one!

It's a café in Soha, but they don't serve coffees.

Spent some time here on my latest visit to Soho with friends - a must for THE best porn star martini to be found anywhere. Spent some time sitting in the sun watching the world go by and enjoying this marvellous cocktail. Perfect spot, good service, nice vibes, perfect cocktail.

Friendly and accommodating staff which is typically unusual for a late night eatery. The menu options are robust and the food and atmosphere is good. They charge a £2.50 fee per person for late night after midnight however it’s worth it to get away from the soho riffraff. They make great drinks as well especially the Espresso Martini and Bloody Mary.

Regular place with very slow service. If you plan to sit hear, call them 2 hours before give your orders, probably timing of your arrivals and orders to be ready will be match

They serve good coffee and really good breakfasts here. I've had many breakfast and brunch meetings here and it's always top quality

I came from London yesterday, went with a couple of friends who used to live in London, they where both enthusiastic to come back to such an iconic place like the Balans so i said "why not", we sat down and our waitress, a blond woman, came to take our orders, i wanted some fries but couldn't choose so i repeated myself, smiling, a couple of times cause, since it was kinda loud, i thought she couldnt hear me and the woman, visibly annoyed, responded "i can understand you", skipping some parts, whe ordered our fries and, since you are obliged to take at least something, my third friend took some...veggies, the kind lady was clearly unnerved for the measly orders, trust me if i tell you she barely made an effort to seem educated, the other waiters, a bald guy and a fancy one, where equally annoyed,we asked some water to the bold one since they couldn't sell alcohol at that hour and we wanted a beer, little interaction, same unnerved reaction, we were done so we requested to the fancy one the check, to pay split a 11 pounds order, we didnt have any cash, we've just arrived from the airport basically, me and a friend would've left in less than half a day and the other friend was forced by mystical rules to even order, is it a shame to pay with card for a low amount? Shouldn't be your business but mostly don't look disgusted by it, i've never, NEVER done a Tripadvisor review but the experience was honestly questionable, the blonde woman was limping, yes it was late but not so late and a bar/restaurant is never an easy job, my dad is a chef, i've been around the backstages of these businesses, it's tough but we were polite and smiled even though we were treated like s*** ( and the staff literally throwing the cutlery on the table, huffing and puffing in annoyance) you are providing a service, try to put an effort because that's your job but also simple education, really.

It's been a long time since I've been to Balans and only knew the restaurant so was excited to try the cafe. We went on a quiet Sunday lunchtime for a quick brunch but the experience didn't turn out very well. We waited ages to be served despite there only being about 8 tables with guests, and people who were seated after us were served first - always an annoyance! Drinks were ordered - my partner's came; mine didn't. When the waiter finally came to take our food order I had to ask again. When the food came and still no drink, I asked a third time at which point it was finally brought.

We wanted a real English restaurant to get an English breakfast! And that place was THE place for that. It was P E R F E C T ! Good food, good presentation, good place, good service (Thank you Joan, the portuguesh!). We definitely will be back!

The food was overpriced and not good at all. Looked nice and fancy, but it was all a show. The service was good, though. But that was it. Would not recommend.

Caminó un largo camino para llegar aquí para 6. Solo a las 40 am me dijo el encargado de la seguridad que la cocina estaba cerrada, tal vez las 7 o las 7. 30 am estaría bien! (Por cierto, estaba comiendo una fritura en ese momento). En serio, debe ser de 24 horas y no menciona los horarios limitados de comida en su sitio web.

Pleasant, spacious cafe with a lot of Soho buzz. We enjoyed a traditional fish and chips. Prompt service. Not as much fun as the main Balans down the street.

Horribly cramped, noisy and uncomfortable dining space, overzealous waiters endlessly trying to up-sell and average food. Difficult to find much to like about this place. Won’t be hurrying back there when there’s so much choice in the West End for places to eat.

We ate here Saturday night. The service was at best described as slow and disinterested to the point where staff at a motorway services seem enthusiastic by comparisson. Three lots of people occupied the table next t oours and eventually left due to no attention from any waiitng staff.

On main Old Compton St bustled amongst bars and pubs is Balkan’s Soho Society Cafe. It’s perfect when you get hunger pangs after a night out.

Mir wurde das Society Café von einer Freundin empfohlen. Es ist einfach zu finden und unweit vom Leicester Square gelegen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich und das Essen klasse. Preise waren auch angemessen. Immer wieder gerne!

Hoy hice una parada aquí y pedí la "famosa hamburguesa de Balans" que tiene buen sabor, pero otra hamburguesa muy espesa que hace que sea muy difícil de comer, que terminó cayendo a pedazos en todo el tablero de servicio. Los chips están bien solo un poco secos. El servicio es excelente y el interior es oscuro y acogedor, el precio es muy razonable.

Visited post being at the theatre. |We hadn't booked. We were 8 hungry people, and we sat at the back of the restaurant on a large round table. It's quite dark at the back but we had an amazing meal. I always think when you are a bit of a crowd you may not get the service or the food may be difficult to get out all at once and at the right temperature. Not here we had excellent service and the food was great. Thoroughly recommend.

Went in on Saturday morning for breakfast. We were informed that they could not do the full menu, but there other site just up the road could. We only wanted a bacon sandwich which they could do we ordered drinks arrived piping hot followed by our food, which was fresh and hit. Great food, great service thank you.

Sehr leckeres Frühstück mitten in Soho. Lockere Atmosphäre und richtig gutes Essen. Ein Besuch ist ein Muss!

Visited after coming out of theatre matinee. Had lovely meal, Balkans burger with coleslaw & chunky chips, well presented, hot & good quality. Friend a vegetarian & also enjoyed his baked cauliflower. All washed down with a delicious cocktail. Staff very friendly & helpful. Definitely will return on next visit to London.

We stayed on Old Compton Street and were looking for somewhere for breakfast. Having read good reviews about here, we decided to take a chance- and we're so glad we did! We arrived about 10 for breakfast and they were so accommodating, travelling in a party of 7 means that it isn't always easy to find restaurants that will take you, but Balans made it so easy. Our breakfast was so amazing the first morning that we decided to come back again the following morning instead of trying somewhere else!

A lovely relaxed atmosphere for breakfast before the theatre. Reasonably priced and definitely worth the money, the full English was delicious!

Met up with a couple of old friends in Soho and decided to get some food at Balans.

I haven’t been to Balans in over 6 months so decided to go with a friend for a quiet relaxed meal. The service was excellent as always and very friendly waiters always happy to help. I ordered their Infamous Burger with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato, dill pickle, red onion and brioche bun served with chunky chips and coleslaw. The beef burger was tasty and full of flavour and not to forget the mouth-watering chunky chips cooked to perfection. The waiter ensured our glasses were filled with water throughout our stay.

The ever reliable Balans for lovely friendly attentive staff. The menu was huge for the the time of the day! Managed to have a healthy yummy brunch!! Always very consistent with food and service.

Myself and a friend visited here on Monday night for a birthday meal. We had a table booked and were welcomed instantly by the staff.

Un salto aquí para un desayuno temprano. El personal es muy acogedor y buen menú de desayuno y de elección. Servicio estaba resbaladiza y la comida deliciosa. Dos huevos escalfados sobre una tostada y perfectamente una tortilla con patatas fritas. Tanto abundante y absolutamente delicioso. Coloca un número de hoteles de alto nivel a pena basada en la calidad. Ambiente encantador.

I have no idea how kedgeree ends up as risotto. Shocking. Awful. My friend got lucky and other dishes looked ok but seriously consider a quick look at a kedgeree recipe and stop serving smoked haddock and pea risotto. Yuk. Thankfully the staff were great.

Necesitaba un desayuno relativamente temprano por la mañana el sábado pasado y las 9 de la mañana temprano para Soho - sin embargo Balans acudió y ofrecía una fantástica de empezar el día. El restaurante estaba cómodamente ocupado pero no está lleno con los lugareños y los turistas y tenía un buen ambiente. Yo tenía los huevos Benedict y mi marido la alta sociedad que era igual de bueno. Café, lo que es muy a menudo una decepción también era excelente. Por último, no puedo criticar el servicio, que era muy atento sin ser entrometido. La única pena es que no lo hayamos descubierto En anteriores visitas a la zona, que es francamente repugnante por nuestra parte, ya que alojarse en un hotel justo en la carretera una relativamente frecuente. Es un error que no haga de nuevo.

Tuvimos un fantástico almuerzo tarde y sábado en un casi vacío cafe que era agradable ya que las mesas estaban muy juntos y podría haber sido incómodo si estaba lleno.

My favourite place in central London for a full English breakfast or a fish and chips! Prices are reasonable, the team professional and friendly and last but not least it’s almost open non stop! Go and try it you’ll only be satisfied!

Food was fine, service good and quick, only problem was the tables were really tightly packed in so difficult to squeeze pat without knocking someone

Disfrutamos de un almuerzo agradable en Balans Cafe en un atareado Sábado en Soho. Nuestro camarero era muy atento y la comida era muy buena y una buena relación calidad-precio. Tuve el desayuno inglés completo y mi esposo la pasteles de pescado tailandesa. El desayuno era, como el inglés diría, "on". Los pasteles de pescado eran un poco punzantes que esperábamos pero delicioso. Sin duda lo recomiendo y volvería aún más altamente su otro restaurante en la calle.

After many dish disappointments in the past and after equally as many instructions to take off the optional 12.5% gratuity, a visit to Balans society Cafe once again yesterday did little to leave me pleasantly surprised - the staff were their usual arrogant and unpleasant...

we enjoyed a pretty good lunch at this BOS. a portobello starter, society burger, fish and chips, salads, goat cheese and potato terrine. all in all, pretty good. probably closer to good than very good but the service was also good and ambiance just fine.
