Bake&TAKE in Bury

Staff extremely friendly, food absolutely delicious. Overall a really good way to spend an afternoon. Would most definitely recommend!

I have visited bake and take in bury on a number of occasions. The staff here and extremely polite and always cater to all my needs. The service and food is excellent and I always leave feeling fully satisfied. I particularly enjoy the English breakfasts and the salads. I find all the food here to be good quality and a great price for what you receive. Would recommend to everyone, especially great for families.

Visited today with my mum and sister , staff were lovely and ensured we had a table straight away, food was fresh and good price as well would definitely visit again

Entered today approx 13.30 to eat lunch, waitress brought the menu to my table, I asked if they had any jacket potatoes as I am gluten free and very limited to what food I can eat, waitress kindly checked then came back to my table and informed she had 2 jackets left. I replied that I would have one with chilli. At no point did she tell me I had to go to the till and order… I then proceeded to help my disabled mother out of the bathroom… on my return to the table my father had gone to pay for the food he was then informed that they had just sold the 2 jacket potatoes to someone else, despite there no being anyone in the queue when I spoke to the waitress.. very disappointed with your customer service, have been coming in here since you opened And have spend a significant amount of money on lunch here, will not be returning..

Came here one Sunday afternoon whilst shopping in Bury, with my partner and 3 year old daughter. The staff member who seated us was miserable, no hi, just a “table for 3?” And took us to a table next to the toilet. We were then told to order at the till when ready. All the staff looked miserable as sin, no one seemed to know how to smile. I ordered a Cornish pasty and chips with gravy, it arrived luke warm and cutting through it felt like it had been microwaved, the pastry was chewy, and the meat inside was pink. Only thing keeping the whole thing even slightly warm was the gravy. The chips were alright, but some were not cooked through. The kids meal is good, comes with a sandwich, drink and a choice of cookie or donut or gingerbread man. My other half enjoyed his toastie and chips. Recommendation by him, and if he suggests here again, we’re splitting up 🤣. Did not enjoy, maybe the sandwiches/toasties are better, but I left feeling hungry.

We have been many times before. We used to love the help yourself selections for salads etc, but Covid has put a stop to that. So the shop and the service has had to be re-modelled. it is still very good. Well spaced out tables, many with screens for the kids to play on. The range of food is good. We had a toastie and a couple of balms between us. You order at the counter and pay and they bring the food and drinks to your table. The place is kept very clean. I will continue to use it often.

In the past been happy eating here however todays experience was different. There were nine tables unnocupied all waitin to be cleared for a good while, The area set aside for condiments and cutlery was piled up with dirty dishes. My wife ordered a salad and all she got was a bowl of leaves, no tomatoes in it, no cucumber, no peppers radish onion or anything else. I ordered pie and chips thinking I couldn't go wrong and I got pie and chips but the pie was cold. At this point we'd had enough and left in disgust but we wont go back in a hurry

Came here on a whim today and was highly disappointed, the food was poor quality for the price, cheapest bread you can buy for the toast and the soup i would of preferred a can of Hienz..... i also ordered scrambled eggs which had been overdone (probably in a microwave by the way it was all clumped together). It also had pepper in which wasn’t stated and made the meal look even more unappetising. The only thing nice i ordered was the Latte! On a positive the few staff i dealt with were polite and helpful.

I visit this cafe all the time the food is good and well priced and the staff are helpful and friendly can’t do enough for you. Whilst being compliant have got conditions as close to what they were before lockdown a pleasure to get back

I arrived Sunday afternoon at the Bury cafe and had to wait to be seated. I did notice no tables were spaced out or crosses on every other one like other Cafes. I was given a menu (not a paper one) and left sat there. Do I order via an app, register, go to the till or does someone come over. 5 girls behind the counter with masks on doing nothing. Another couple came in and they were seated directly behind me. In fact the guy was to my side only cms away!!! I asked about the 1M to 2M rule and how was I to place an order. Was looked at blankly so I had to walk out!

I went there with there with a group of friends after one of them recommended it to me and honestly I loved it. The food was slightly pricey but it tasted really good especially after you tell them to heat it up, so it was worth the price. The server/ cashier was really really kind and because of that it gave the place a very amicable and homely atmosphere. I totally recommend this place.

Been here a good few times and never had a bad experience, they staff are very friendly and the food is nice. Some things are a bit pricey for what you get but they do taste good. Would recommend

Most of the staff are brilliant but the one on the till with the dark hair & face full of make-up is the one of the rudest people i have ever come accross....i went in with my elderly parents & she made them feel rushed & inadequate....i suggest she goes on a course to improve her customer service approach....we will not be returning!!!

Popped in for a drink and a piece of cake..food is always fresh here..nice clean tables..friendly staff as well..

Bought 2 coffees both lukewarm, told the waitress and she warmed it up in the microwave,what great customer service, not !!!

Quite an unusual place. Good service, superb salads, lots of pies, sandwiches and cakes. Line up and select your food and make your own tea or coffee, although staff will always do it for you if you ask. Good value, although cakes are not so cheap. Top tip for value. Have a salad with chicken pasta - great value and really tasty.

We really enjoy visiting this cafe on the rock as the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is always fresh and a good choice They are always clearing the tables so people can sit down with their meals and will help you with drinks etc as you enter The sandwiches are always fresh with a good about of filling and the cakes are lovely and fresh always Some meal deals also available Great place keep up the hard work

Went to Bury called in bake and Take It was their 2nd Anniversary Great Offers free drink with a sandwich or a Cake table service for the teas Also got free sausage rolls each Friendly staff especially Grace who explained As it was our 1st time in Wont be the last

On Sunday afternoon myself and my partner visited bury for the first time in a while, we went to the cinema and did some shopping on the Rock shopping centre and we came across Bake & Take I've never seen or been here before but we thought we'd try it. We walked in and we're greeted by a lovely young girl who asked us if we'd been here before and if we needed help showing what to do. She was so pleasant and helpful. She gave us a tray and make our hot drinks for us (the coffee is amazing by the way) and I was so impressed with the amount of different syrups shots available. I had the Spicy chicken Paninni and my partner had the Roast Beef and Onion Ciabatta both served hot and with some crisps on the side with we didn't expect. The lady at the till was also really helpful and friendly. The prices are brilliant for what you get. There's also a huge selection of cakes which all looked amazing it was so hard to choose. Also the interior and furniture is really modern. And there's Ipads on the tables that you can play on which is such a good idea especially for children. I will 100% be returning to Bake & Take and will be recommending to my family & friends. Had a great experience and will be coming back soon

Since moving to bury this year I have taken the opportunity of taking my daughter to a different cafe each week, we have been to the usual McDonald’s and Burger King ect but we wanted to try the local cafes.

So many good places to eat in Bury- this is not one! £3.59 for a sandwich fair enough but the cheapest of bread( stale) a scrape of mayo and a couple of tuna flakes. Tea in a scratched and dented glass cup, you make yourself at a machine. Not for me- go elsewhere for a decent brew and butty

Working in Bury, i have many options to choose from when going fro lunch however, i do keep returning to this place. The service is execellent in that if you choice isn't on display, quite often the waiting on team are happy to prepare it for you. That is good serive. The food selections are interesting and varied. Happy to return and to recommend to others too

We are from NZ visiting our family, my daughter comes to Bury to do shopping. We decided to have breakfast and came across Bake & Take at first we couldn’t see a breakfast menu so walked out, but they had a picture of a breakfast in the window, so went back and asked. And of course they did so i sat at a table while my husband an daughter ordered. They said that it would take a while which we didn’t mind as there were four meals that had to be cooked. We order drinks my grandson played on a computer which was already at the table which is a great idea for children as it keeps them occupied while waiting. The service was wonderful they couldn’t do enough for you. We were also ofter more drinks which my hubby said he would pay after our meal, but were told we didn’t need to. I would certainly come back even for a coffee, they had a good variety of food on display, hot or cold.

I come in here with my toddler due to how easy it is to quickly be served & eat in an atmosphere that is always relaxed.

Poppped in here for a coffee to kill time on a Sunday morning. We were pleasantly surprised by the service, price and quality. Breakfast sandwich and fresh coffee for £1.99. Great concept of help yourself. Give it a go!

I regularly go to this cafe when supporting young people who have autism. The staff in this cafe are very accommodating and understanding, and always go above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. I would recommend to anyone, especially families with younger children.

What a great café! Visit every time we go to Bury and have abandoned M & S and Debenhams' cafes completely now.

I ordered from these but on just eat app and it was fabulous.

We called in here as I'd spotted the built in tablet facilities on some tables for the little ones..as my little girl is 2 this is perfect for her..we could eat our food in peace knowing the little one is entertained..they have a great choice of panini..sandwiches and other snacks..Nice comfy seating inside or out..reasonable prices and really nice staff..that asked if we wanted extras on paninis and kids snack boxes are good value..variety of cakes..fruit and treats as well..definitely will call in here again

I visited today for the first time, I was with my daughter who I had in a pram so I was delighted when a lovely staff member named Courtney asked if she could help me. I wouldn't have been able to carry the tray and steer the pram at the same time. She carried everything for me, set up a highchair and made sure we weren't stuck for anything. By far the best service we've had in a cafe.

You go along and pick out your drinks from coffees to slushes and so on, desserts and sandwiches which will be warmed up for you. You get to the end and pay then sit down. An easy concept to grasp, foods a little below par but you can’t expect much more than that for the price. Cheap and cheerful, I’d say.

went to sit outside as wife on a scooter manager came out invited us in moved tables for us even though there plenty of space 10**** for customer service great clean place couldnt do enough for us plenty of different cuisine disabled toilets and ipads connected to tables so you can enjoy a game or 2 while relaxing 10**** for food gret atmosphere will defo go again

We called in to try the coffee and was pleasantly surprised, you help your self, but I don't mind that, the staff are really helpful though.

I like the concept of helping yourself and getting what you want from an array of products. The hot panini was tasty but the side salad it was served with was brown on the edges. Would go again!

Well what can insay we just called in hear has a quick stop.for some lunch and ended up sitting because it's so nice and chilled the staff can't do enough for you from the minute you walk in and the food is lovely will defo be returning next time I'm in bury
