Bahgecha in West Berkshire

As always, just perfect. I am gluten free and ordering from here means I can enjoy my curry with no reaction, they are perfect for Gluten Free.

We went here as a group of 6 adults. The food is absolutely superb, no complaints at all. The staff were very friendly too. The venue is nice and clean. We had a takeaway from here a while back, which was great too. If I could make one suggestion - the staff could be a bit more attentive. There were long periods where we had empty glasses for instance. But we just asked so wasn't any dramas. I definitely recommend this. One of the best curry houses in the area, and not too expensive either!

We gave up ordering Indian takeaways in Basingstoke about 2 years ago because every delivery turned out to be so disappointing. We thought we'd give it another try tonight and the food from Bahgecha has been absolutely amazing. We'll definitely be ordering again.

Thought I would give this a try as the reviews were very good, I was quite disappointed. This isn’t what you are looking for if you’re South Asian or prefer spicy food. All in all, food was cooked well and naan was tasty.

Overall the food was really tasty just a couple of minor complaints. The onion bhajis are small and the mango chutney is so runny. Its like they water it down?! very strange, made my poppadom all soggy.

Food wasn’t great and chicken was dry, sauces were bland even the rice had no taste. The naan was soggy. Poppodoms greasy Was disappointed as it was becoming a favourite and now it’s not with lack of standard.

Food was nice as always and is the best Indian in the area but our prawn starter only contained two prawns, last time we ordered the starter there was at least triple the amount. £8-£9 for 2 prawns is disappointing, there was also a offer of free delivery if you spent £50 but when i went to pay it then tried to charge me the delivery fee but that may be a issue with the app.

Delicious, ready to collect really quickly and the food was super hot when we got home. Friendly and polite staff will definitely visit again 😄

I choose 7:30 for delivery at just after 5 and the estimated delivery time was 7:55 bizarrely. Then it didn’t turn up until 8:10.

Never had a takeaway delivered so fast! Lovely food, super fast delivery, 10/10 we will be ordering from here again 😊

Strong contender for the worst take away I've ever had. Rice was watery, so were the curries, very little flavour. 0/5.

The best Indian meal I have had in the UK. The flavours in the currieswere subtle and exactly as described in the menu. Excellent service. Will go back again soon

It arrived early which was great. The food itself was good. I was just disappointed with the portion of the Chicken Korma. It's almost £10 for the dish and there were 7 small cubes of chicken, the rest just sauce. I know a Korma doesn't have vegetables so it will always look as though there's a lot of sauce, but the amount of chicken was very small for the price. We have enjoyed the meals from here previously, but we're put off by this.

I love my curry’s and although the service was amazing I didn’t think the curry was my vindaloo was almost quite sweet!! Food was ok but not amazing lots of dishes were quite bland probably wouldn’t come back for food

The food was fresh and hot, but I found the chicken tikka masala and the lamb pasanda a tad too sweet, I had hoped it would be more aromatic.

My mum, who usually avoids spicy food, loved it and declared it the best restaurant chicken dish she’s ever had. The food is fresh, well cooked and delicious.

Food always great but shame we always have to be told to leave around 9pm when they are advertised to open until 11. Quite embarrassing to have the lights turned off around you at 9.15pm. Do they not want to make money?

First time visited and won’t be the last. Sumptuous menu with really imaginative dishes as well as old favourites and classics. Beautifully presented and brought out on a little trolley. Attentive and friendly staff and lovely ambience. Restaurant doing a good take away service too. As the Restaurant was closed as expected in the morning, we emailed to reserve a table and got reply/confirmation within 15 minutes- excellent! Thank you for a lovely evening and meal.

Delicious food, perfectly spiced

I ordered at 5pm for a 6.30 delivery. Had to call the restaurant at 6.50 to be told the driver couldn't find the house - instead of calling, he took everything back to the restaurant. I can only guess they microwaved everything before sending it back out. Arrived half an hour late and my bhuna was inedible - the chicken was so tough. Awful - feel ripped off.

Best Rogan Josh I've ever had! A friend took me here for the first time last week and it was spectacular. Veggie Samosa's were also delicious with a bit of a kick and so was the special fried rice. The staff were very friendly, very efficient and the atmosphere in the restaurant was very calm and welcoming too. I would come back here in a heart beat!

A little disappointed. Not sure if I got the wrong one as they share the exact same name but seemed very excessive at £8 for 2 sausage sized sheek kebabs. Would be very disappointed to order the starter version and get 1 for £4.25. You get one in the mixed grill but get everything else for only 70p.

We often order from this superb restaurant. Food is consistently delicious, quick delivery and always a very friendly person that delivers. Would not hesitate to recommend.
