If I could give it any less than a 1* I would ! The staff are so rude. This used to be an amazing sandwich shop .... not anymore !

This is mine & my hubbies go to sandwich shop. If they are busy, which they can get really busy, I recommend you order & then they'll give you a time to collect. The only thing I find us when you get there, regardless of how many people are in the shop, you aren't acknowledged. We always have the hot sandwiches on the paninis.....a good choice and so tasty.

I've always heard people praising this sandwich shop since it opened. I have tired it for the first time today. Very friendly helpful staff and the chicken tikka baguette was awesome. Will definitely be visiting again.

Once again I give this place another chance and they are once again very rude on entry, no acknowledgement from any of the five staff workers. Attitude every time I go. They don’t treat young lads with any respect

Always busy and probably suggest to order rather than wait in que as they only let 3 ppl in shop. Sandwiches have been good on both occasions.

On ordering my sandwiches I was informed that there would be a fifteen minute wait. I didn't realise that would begin when I arrived at the shop. After telling the woman the order I was waiting for she then left me waiting outside while she went making sandwiches and talking to a girl eating soup in the kitchen. I stood outside while watching my sandwich in the warm box (loose description), as my sandwiches stared back for ten minutes. When another member of staff came to question the absolute confusion I was showing, I explained to her that Id already informed one member of staff and she retrieved my sandwich from the glass cabinet with a sickly sweet "Thankyou". On returning home with my sandwich 45 mins after ordering it the food was cold and the bread was stale. I called the shop to inform them of my dissatisfaction only to be met with a member of staff who entire vocabulary consisted of the word Yes. After a responsible adult took the phone from her, I was astonished by the attitude of the staff member who after offering a handful of unmanageable solutions actually said "well there's nothing we can do." and then tried to talk over me, not listening to anything I had to say. Absolutely shocking service. Its a good job nobody's business rests on such a skillset.

Have tried a number of sandwiches now, both hot and cold. Every one excellent - tasty, quality ingredients and great value. Service always friendly and professional.

Passed this place on numerous occasions and never ventured in to try it untill today, staff were very welcoming and helpful, there was a little bit of a wait but that is common practice when food is cooked fresh to order, best breakfast I've had for a while, will definitely be back to try something different on the menu.

Never had a problem with the sandwiches except they are overpriced and you quite often pay more than the listed price. Today despite advertising a sandwich at £4 they charged £4.20. No extras on the sandwich. It I wanted any salad that would be an extra 70p. Moving on..... service is appalling. When you pre order a sandwich it’s never ready and you end up waiting and you will appreciate on a limited lunch time this is very poor. I walked through the door at 12pm. Over 15 minutes later (despite being only 2 people in front of me) I finally ordered. Then after another 10 minutes my sandwich was available. Low and behold not even the sandwich I ordered! Avoid unless you’ve got time to waste!

Quality sandwiches served by friendly polite staff. Easily the best sandwich shop in Rochdale. highly recommend.

A quality sandwich shop with some unusual menu options. Good quality food at competitive prices. Hot sandwich selection all sounded tasty.

Always use bagettes - you can order over the phone and it is ready for when you get there. Priced just right for the area and good clean tasty food.

Recently moved to the area and am doing up my flat before I move in so I needed some food and noticed this butty shop. I can honestly say it is the best I have ever come across and am in most days. The food is freshly prepared and there is fantastic choice of hot and cold food including breakfast boxes, salads and baked potatoes. Staff are friendly and efficient and although you have to wait, especially for the hot sandwiches nobody seems to mind as they are so good! I am working my way steadily through the menu and so far have only come across one I did not like , just because too much mustard for my taste. Not tried sny of the cakes but they look good too. You can telephone in your order and there are couple of small tables if you want to eat in. Not tried hot drinks but very reasonably priced. I recommend this place to all the trades working for me and they all love it too. A big fat thumbs up from me. Keep up the good work!

I have never had a bad experience here. The food is always excellent, and the prices are fantastic. The quality is top class, and the service is top notch.

Good variety of food cooked freshly on site, very friendly staff and always busy which is a good sign.

I called in today as I was passing. THE BEST BACON BAGUETTE EVER! Inside is clean and well maintained and the staff are very polite too. Will be calling in again!

Just moved to Bamford and happened across this sandwich shop and what can l say the jerk chicken is to die for!! Had a lamb special which l didn't really rate as it was very bland but overall very nice place to go!

Love this place. Everything is good. Prices reasonable. Good service. Cannot resist the breakfasts. It's hard to walk past and always busy all day long.

If it's a quick snack or a hearty meal on the go then this is the place to visit, food is top notch and lots of variety too - nice friendly staff but being on a main road location makes it sometimes difficult to park.

Tried this for the 1st time today.Chicken/Turkey/Bacon salad baguette,WOW has to be one of the best sandwiches ever.Nothing spared on the filling,it was overflowing & so tasty.This is a must visit if you like a good sarnie!Be prepared for a queue at Lunchtime.

love the choice, would advise you phone your order in as gets very busy. Everything you could want for breakfast or lunch - hot or cold

Just popped in after visiting the hairdressers for a quick baguette for lunch. I had spicy chicken with coleslaw on a freshly baked baguette. Have to say it's the nicest sandwich I've ever had

Just bought a very good sandwich, however another customer has returned his baguette with a long hair in it. Although the assistant exchanged it and refunded his money there wasn't exactly an apology. May I respectfully suggest that the staff should wear some form of headgear to avoid this sort of incident.

If you are looking for a good sandwich shop, with tasty, generous fillings look no further. Assortment of fresh bread and rolls and a variety of fillings, reasonably priced. You will not be disappointed or go hungry.

Tasty sandwiches packed full of filling. Varied menu. Hot and cold selection available. Generous portions. Very good value.

I have tried quite a few of the hot specials and I have not come across one that I have not enjoyed!

Baguettes from here are lovely, I had the hot steak and onion and my parter had to cajun chicken. They cooked it right there in front of us. Also nice selection of hot pies and cakes.

Great for a quick sandwich to go. This deli bakes its bagettes on the premises and has a really wide choice of fillings. The salad that is added to sandwiches is plentiful and a great mix. Baguettes themselves are crisp and fresh with a choice of white or brown.I have always found the staff to be very polite and helpful, at busy times there is often a queue but I have rarely had to wait more than ten minutes. Newspapers are provided to browse whilst waiting. I have eaten a lot of sandwiches bought from delis and the ones bought from Baguettes rank as some of the best I have eaten.

Our favourite place to grab lunch whilst at work. Freshly made baguettes, sandwiches, baked potatoes etc. It's really busy at lunch time so my tip would be to ring and order in the morning.

I'm surprised by the previous review of this sandwich shop. The staff are always friendly and my regular sausage and bacon baguette is outstanding. I'm always treated in a warm manner by all the staff and there is a chorus of Hello everyone I cross the threshold. It's very busy so if you don't want a wait order in advance. It's always busy and sometimes it takes a minute to find somewhere to park but I've never been more than 40 metres away... I know plenty of people who travel across town to visit this Gem.

I really like the baguettes and the sandwiches they make here BUT having been kept waiting 20 mins for a bacon butty you get to notice things. The staff never smile, they all have the ability to look through you rather than at you, you are not seen until they are ready to ask you something. Hands are kept clean on aprons. Gloves of any type are never are used. Faces/noses are scratched with hands that are never washed. Food and money are handled without any pretence at hygiene. The place is used very frequently by the Police so parking is very difficult and not worth taking a risk on given the Police presence. the place is very busy and and therefore is anything like fast food. Avoid the melted cheese - its a tasteless goo.
