Visited for a private function. Brilliant venue! Love the decor, brilliant space for a party lots of space. Staff were all amazing for such a busy night, also super friendly! Great location. Will definitely be back!

We held my daughters 18TH Birthday here last wk! We had exclusive hire, Kev the owner and his wife were exceptional! Nothing was too much trouble. Quick to get back to us with any questions regarding our party. Good selection of drinks, cocktails. Would highly recommend having any event here. Thank You

Cocktails made fresh and they were delicious! Very good prices, table service outside too, will be definitely going again for another girls day out

From a drag performers perspective Baby M is the perfect place for a gig located at 18 Sadler Gate it’s in the heart of Derby making it easy to travel to. A fantastic landlord and landlady, spotlessly clean pub and fabulous atmosphere, great choice of drinks especially their cocktail list. I hired Baby M for a birthday party and couldn’t recommend it enough! Not only was the owner Kev so helpful in replying to all of my many questions via Instagram but he was so helpful when going to view the venue and set up the event. The space is the perfect size for an event as it’s big enough for a lot of people but you can really fill the room and create that busy party atmosphere without the awkwardness that big rooms often bring. There is a great cocktail selection that is reasonably priced and the staff are so friendly and understanding. You don’t have to add anything to the room if you don’t want to as they already have a really cool vibe with neon lights and plants around. Not to mention, the DJ they provided was lovely, he was happy to take suggestions but mixed a playlist I pre-made perfectly! Would love to host a party there again or at least go there for a night out, it’s such a great addition to Derby and Sadler gate!

This place sets the ideal ambiance for a lovely evening with friends! I chose it for a kick-off of karaoke, and it turned out to be just right. The drink specials were fantastic, and the staff was wonderfully courteous. Since it was my first visit and I planned to celebrate my birthday there, I reached out to the owner, Kev. He was incredibly attentive to our needs and impressively prompt in responding to my messages. I will definitely be going back!

This is a great bar to visit if you just want to have a fun time, be that with a large group of friends or just you and your other half. Staff are always friendly and ready to help, the interiors are very grammable, drinks and cocktails are made properly and reasonably priced and the music is always on point. We love visiting here and think it really has given Derby something different. If I could sum it up in one word: fun Definitely give it a try

Baby m is my new favourite place, I love the atmosphere, and the staff are always amazing. If you haven't been here your seriously missing out, the cocktails are amazing and it's just a real nice chilled out place to spend your Friday and Saturday nights I can't recommend this place enough!

A great little bar situated in the heart of Derby on Saddler Gate. We have been there on numerous occasions and it has never failed to disappoint. The staff are friendly and the cocktails are great. They also have local DJ'S and vary the music. Enjoy!

If you’re looking for incredible cocktails, this is the best place to get them! I’ve been coming here since they first opened a few months back and having experienced cocktails from all around Derby, I can confidently say that they have the best cocktails in the city! They are very knowledgeable about their drinks, super lovely and always ready for a chat! The venue itself has a great atmosphere, perfect bar/nightclub vibes. It has an upstairs sitting area where the bar is located and downstairs sitting as well. Upstairs they usually have a live DJ and an open space which can act as a dance floor. I highly recommend that you check out the place for yourselves!

Had a great couple evenings at Baby M; place has a great vibe n the house DJ plays fab sounds. Looking forward to more visits soon

What a little gem this place is, went in by chance on the way to another bar and had such a good time! Staff were super friendly, lots of quirky drinks choices at surprisingly low prices and the the decor is definitely insta worthy 😂 Just a shame there’s not more bars in Derby like this !

Such a nice place, it looks gorgeous and vibrant, the staff are amazing and are so nice defo deserve a raise, it’s great for a chill night out for a couple of drinks,although I think they should let people pay cash as-well as card but other than that it’s amazing 🤩

I came here on a night out with friends and had a brilliant time! The decor is so insta 😍 And there’s loads of sassy backdrops 🤩 The staff were super welcoming and the drinks were very well priced! They had cocktails in a tea pot which was different and super cute ☕️ 🍸🍹 There’s a huge projector playing loads of great songs 📽 And plenty of room to have a boogie when the tea pots kick in 💃🕺 It’s rare to find somewhere that you can sit down and have a catch up with friends and a dance to loud music in one place 😍😍 I’ll deffo be back soon! 👌🏻

What a great hidden treasure! Me and some friends visited during jubilee weekend and had an absolute blast. There's a fun, boujee entrance with outdoor seating and a faux ivy wall for some insta snaps which we took full advantage of. Upstairs are two rooms with some quaint patio furniture and teapot cocktails on offer. My friends teapot even had the Queen on hers - Very on point for the jubilee 👑🇬🇧 There wasn't a specific ingredient available for one of the cocktails unfortunately but the bar staff offered an alternative which worked just as well. The toilets were clean, theres plenty of space for a boogie and we loved the naughties tracks on the projector! We'll defo be back soon thanks for a great night!

The venue is a nice little spot and was so glad it was open as my team ventured around the town centre. Nice interior, lovely and friendly staff .

Stumbled upon this cheeky bar on its grand opening night. Was greeted with friendly bouncers, accommodating bar staff and cool vibe. The unique ‘cocktail in a teapot’ offer is a whacky and fun way to enjoy classic cocktails and there’s a wide selection of beers and ciders to choose from. Instead of clogging up the dance floor with unnecessary faff and try-hard, poser decor, Baby M opts for cool minimalism, with the odd artificial plant knocking around and super sleek neon signs adorning the walls. This in turn leaves plenty of room to boogie to the varied playlist, chocked full of classic bangers. There’s even a projector on hand to blast you back to your favourite mtv memories. If you are one for grand gestures and unique backdrops look no further than the entrance space, which is the perfect spot to catch vibes and snaps for the #gram with the vivid logo mural and tropical paradise scene. Both of which are ideal for ‘before and after a teapot full of alcohol’ pictures. Had an amazing night with friends and took some great pictures that we shared with the Baby M socials! Will definitely be returning in the near future!
