What a splendid pop up establishment. Worth hunting this one out, the food was seriously good and staff were really kind. I’d revisit at the drop of a hat, thanks BABU!

Babu is truly a hidden gem and 100% well worth the journey to Prow Park for this flavour sensation. It was an absolutely impeccable takeaway and I really don’t think there’s anything else in town that compares to how banging this was. We only live a 5 minute drive away and it’s worth mentioning how well the food held up when we took it home- we had a lamb and chicken kebab wrapped in their homemade, authentic flat breads accompanied with a selection of sides. I wish I had taken pictures because we’re still raving about it days after dinner! (Not to mention there was ample left for lunch the following day). That being said, we popped in as a walk-in and venue is also so beautifully decorated that we were torn between staying or taking it home. Especially as there was a selection of awesome cocktails and beers. Thank you Fleur and the team for being so welcoming! We’ll definitely be returning!!

The way everything is made here, is just a true love for food. Lamb kofta with delicious homemade flatbread is outstanding, pickles too. Get tatty nuggets with it, crunchy explosion in your mouth.

The food was very high quality and left my mouth watering for more. Lots of flavours and textures, enjoyable and excellent service. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu 😋

If you are looking for a dogsh!t donner this isn't the place for you. You get what you pay for in life. Babu is worth every penny they charge. Fresh ingredients and excellent quality kofta. It's a pity I can't fit in another one. Super clean and Super friendly restaurant. Well worth the visit.

The king of kebabs and masters of the pastry.. Let me tell you how much I love Babu.. their kebabs are a taste explosion of the tenderest chicken pieces enrobed in spices galore.. the actual flatbread is made from the heavens of soft pillowy gods with some beautifully pickled crunch crunch and SAUCE .. the sauce is the creamiest velvet soft garlic fluff that just sets it all off. If that wasn’t enough excitement for you .. they have these little deepfried, cinnamon puff pastry banoffee mini pasty shaped bites of honestly the most incredible balance of flaky heaven , sweet gooey toffee and bananas.. And then there’s the potato nuggets.. we will save that episode for next week.. ♥️😊

So... Two friends came for a takeaway dinner at our house last night. We normally get Thai food from the local van but fortunately it was closed or we might never have found this hidden gem. Nestled in Prow Park on the Treloggan Estate it was well worth the search! We ordered a chicken kebab, lamb kebab, chicken salad, veggie salad and the cabbage and potato dishes to share. My chicken kebab was quite simply the best I've ever had, and I've lived in Preston and Hounslow! The balance of flavours across all dishes was perfection to the pallete and it was clear that every dish was made with love by chefs who genuinely care about what they do. Everyone was full with some of the salads saved for the next day. I've received messages today from our friends and the first thing said was how amazing the food was. Take a bow, Babu! We'll be back very soon!

Babu BEST £40 of Kebab weve ever had, Yes its a few quid more than the kebab shops in town , but its worth the money all day ! Kebabs are Bigger better and there fresh ! Homemade Bread around some tasty chicken and Veg ! Absolute huge Kebab was a double handed job ! Sat in real nice Atmosphere good music nice and chilled , very busy place

The food was incredible, we had a chicken wrap each, cheddar beignet and potato nuggets. All amazing! The choice of drinks is brilliant as and I highly recommend the margarita.

I have eaten many kebabs in my lifetime but hand on heart this was the most tastiest chicken shish kebab I have ever tasted. The potato nuggets were a delicious side and complemented the dish. Would definitely recommend.

The food is AMAZING - we both had chicken Shish salads and they were so fresh and the individual flavours so unique. The salad box’s are deceiving as the serving size was more than enough and cooked perfectly - each part had its own authentically seasoned taste and they complemented each other beautifully. Ordering was easy and the menu uncomplicated - I can’t rate this place highly enough and we’ll definitely go back for more, thanks Babu! X

Had a fantastic meal courtesy of Babu! Prices are what to expect in Newquay. Interior is new and funky and very good looking aesthetic. Amazing portion size, lovely ingredients, flavour, and very friendly and helpful staff. Booking was easy, some people who have a problem with this maybe shouldn't expect the world in peak season with half the country down in Cornwall. Definitely would go again, and, as you can see. I have more than 1 or 2 reviews. Not one to miss out on!

Such tasty kebabs. Collected and drove it down to the beach for dinner. Had the brisket, padrons with whipped feta and those potatoes (so ridiculously good). Highly recommend - decent portions for the price and great flavours. Have attached some pretty rubbish photo's - was too involved in those nuggets to get any decent ones!

You need to pre-book around lunch time and collect between 5 and 8pm. But this is just a fast food? Well, portions are huge but actually not that tasty. I had lamb which was pulled, dry and cold. Overpowered by other stuff inside. Lamb was actually quite bad😭 Aubergine in bowl was good but everything else was just meh. Too expensive - despite huge portions, reputable London's kebabs are much cheaper and the whole idea of pre-book of fast food seems just not right. PS. Please note how other reviewers have only 1-2 reviews...

Thank U Babu. They managed to fit us in on late notice on a Saturday night and food did not disappoint! My no bread bah was just what the doctor ordered. You gotta try these guys when you’re in town, the potato nugs especially are proper naughty. Cheers guys, see you again soon.
