I love a quick greasy BJ late at night.

Literally just got our food while writing this review, and I had 2 pieces of donner meat before I threw the rest of the disgusting meal away. The donner meat was that dry and hard I was physically struggling to swallow it, I didn't get alot of meat in the first place they decided to hide the salad (which I didn't even want by the way) underneath the wrapper and underneath the meat and chips to make the meal "look full", the mint yogurt has most definitely been watered down as when I tried to coat the pieces of wood in at least something, there was nothing, I might aswell of drunk the yogurt just to eat the meal. Absolutely horrible. And there's no point in ringing up because all they say (as last time I rang and complained) is sorry about that, that's it....nothing. won't be going here anymore.

Had an issue with my Uber eats order from this take away (out of the take aways hands it was an issue on Uber eats behalf) which meant I had to go the takeaway to collect my order and the staff were really friendly and apologetic even though the issue wasn’t their fault and they even gave me a free drink because I had to go collect my order rather than have it delivered. Have had food from here quite a few times and will definitely be going back 🙂

First visit after recommended to try by a friend. Ordered 12 inch pizza but only got a 9 inch but didn’t realise until I got home. Pizza itself was awful, thin slimy base that was undercooked (think it was one of those pre-bought bases rather than home made. Toppings weren't very good either. Will not use this place again, there a numerous better places to choose from.

This place is terrible. I can’t believe the comments regarding how nice the chicken is? These people have never left their cave I guess. Horrible food.

We ordered from here, took over 2 hours to come. We were missing well over half of our order. The chips were basically mush because of how wet they were. Then when we tried to contact them they don’t answer the phone. Really disappointed with the food and the service. Would avoid at all costs, shouldn’t even be in business.

Arrived an hour and a half after ordering. Called to ask if they could remove peppers and onions from everything, to which they said yes and then still sent with it on. All cold, chips soggy. Avoid

Orderd a takeway at 5.30 said deli ery by 18.50 still waiting and its 20.35 resturant said on way at 19.15 then again at 19.45 now not answering the phone! They Couldnt even seem to find my order when i called wont be ordering again left 4 kids very disappointed

Tried this takeaway tonight for the first time and can honestly say this is the worse takeaway iv had in my life place should be closed down I'm not sure it's even chicken in the strips and the mixed wraps resembled vomit £35 wasted I really suggest you don't try here

Travelled all the way from Flamingo land to have some halal food as there wasn’t any in the vicinity, the food was delicious and the service was excellent!

Hands down best place in York, don’t listen to the bad reviews, I don’t usually have time to order from this place after work because of shutting times, but when I can, I’ll always go here, 150% beats every takeaway in York!!

Well what can I say . My usual Buffalo Pizza was closed ,so I had to unfortunately try this dive. Shocking quality of food. Pizza was undercooked and minimal toppings. Cheap imitation. Save yourself the belly ache and go elsewhere.... I couldn't leave you a direct reply... half of what you say makes no sense. The fact you mention competitor had me chuckling 😆 you dont even come close to that level of food ...I buy from most takeaways in york. That happens to be my favorite, I was on my way there and it was closed. Carried on walking till I got to your dive and thought I'd give it a go... big MISTAKE I can leave a review as and when I like. My review is partially for the benfit of you. But mostly for other customers like my self... Instead of spending your time trying to reply with clever remarks. Clean your staff up and that disgusting kitchen ... spend more time on making better food ... all the best 👌

Absolutely divine!! Couldn’t ask for a better B Jaan’s. We waited for our Uber so decided to eat inside and to our surprise the kind man offered us some complimentary chips!!

Lovely people, lovely food - have been coming back to then for over a year now since I moved to tang hall. Shame I have to move back home, going to miss this place a lot. Would highly recommend their wings!!

Great burgers at a reasonable price!

Absolutely vile, doesn’t even merit a star. Firstly the food was freezing cold and soggy. Secondly we found a disgusting hair in our wrap, which made me feel physically sick. We rang the restaurant to inform them of the state of our food and the hairs, and were greeted with aggression down the phone. The man started shouting and swearing and calling us a liar. We asked for a refund, he started laughing saying ‘you will never get a penny off of me’. He then offered for us to take the food back, which we responded with okay as long as we get a refund. To which he refused saying we were liars therefore never getting any money back. He said he would object our complaint on just eat and make sure we received no money back. However, I hope he see’s this as we happily received all of our money back from Just Eat :)

Hash browns made my mate gag! Horrendous! Chicken nuggets dry,hard and plastic! Chicken strips more like chicken scraps! Do not recommend! Was so disappointed due to all the good reviews this place had. How this place has 4.3 stars is a mystery to me.

Was so inedible that deliveroo gave us a refund. Very late arriving but obviously I was blamed for ordering before they closed (close earlier then?)

Disappointing... its normally a good choice coming here. However tonight, chips were soggy, all the food was cold on arrival, and I specifically requested no mushrooms as I am allergic and my pizza arrived with mushrooms on. Will not be ordering again.

Donner wrap didn't come with any souce in wrap. Very little donner inside. No extra souce with food. Very poor

This is one of the nicest takeaways I've ever had, amazingly tasty food for a really good price! It's saved me many times after I forgot to get proper food in to cook - their desserts are delish as well, great portion sizes! Honestly can't recommend enough :)

Beautiful mixed wrap and shish wrap hot fresh and soooo tasty,chips delicious too and cheesy garlic bread was beautiful not greasy at all,fast delivery and excellent value for money will definitely be ordering again,best takeaway I've had in a long time

Absolutly shocking!! Our takeaway was late, then when my order came it was completely the wrong order, I called the store for them to tell me they would collect the wrong order and give me the correct order as the driver was near by, it took a further 30mins for them to bring me my order back that was all cold the cheesy chip box have fell apart from been that soggy and they didn't even look like cheesy chips on top of that my can of pop was missing, not happy will not be ordering from them again!!

Really good pizzas and kebabs, with great delivery times and friendly staff. Echoing some of the other reviews, the food is far less greasy than a lot of other kebab places. My new go-to. Can't fault them.

First time ordering from here. Very impressed. Pizza was lovely and so were the chips. The prices are excellent and great value in comparison to some dumps in york charging far more for extremely poor quality food. 100% recommend !! I'll be back 👍👌

I absolutely loved this place... When I ordered food i was treated excellently by the staff who served me fresh piping hot food in under 5 mins.. I ate in and looked around the shop which was sparkling and very nice and bright... Will go back whenever I can... Definitely recommend it to everybody...

Probably one of the best spicy fillet burger i ever had, all ingredients were spot on and texture of the chicken was amazing. Chips were nice too, good value for money, and friendly customer service!!!! thumbs up 👍

I drove by B Jaan’s last Saturday night by 8pm. There was q of customers waiting olutside. I tried their 12 inch Margherita. It was wonderful and worth the price and service was excellent. It seems like KFC LEEDS has got some business jealousy or personal ill mantality issues and could not help showing it. This kind of attitude is too stinky....

Absolute top-notch chips and wings here, do not pass this place up. Every time I go in the guys at the counter are extremely friendly, my food is always ready on time and hot, and on one occasion I was given an extra two wings because the chef thought the wings were small that day. Personally I thought they were normal in size, but I appreciated the gesture. Great prices on all the food too. A takeaway with portions as generous as its staff! Five stars, I'd give more if possible, this place rocks!
