Excellent service. Tasty, fresh and authentic food

Not very friendly, very tight on sauces, charged extra for chips instead of rice, expensive for portion sizes. Wasn't very busy at all. Wouldn't go back again

chicken a bit salty but its nice and yummy.

The chicken wraps were excessively wet, falling apart the moment we tried to take them out of the packaging, making them nearly impossible to eat. To make matters worse, the chips were limp, soggy, and completely devoid of flavour. Altogether, it was an incredibly disappointing meal.

food. High quality, healthy and filling. Not to mention that is very light for the stomach, I love it. Recommend with confidence.

Been to this place so many times that I have lost count. The folks who run this are almost as good as the food they put on the table. Family or friends rally them to join in for a meaty feast here. You won’t regret it !

Aya has great chicken shwarma wraps, lentil soup and many starters to choose from like hummus and spinach parcels.

I just came from work with my friend and hi suggested to me AYA restaurant for dinner. Is first time for me in this restaurant but with a pleasure I can say is the best in Sutton. The food amazing and the servis wonderful behave. I just want to tell everyone you just tray AYA restaurant .Thanks.

The lamb shank with that sauce was tremendous and the rice was lovely too. It’s a quiet place with good atmosphere and good service.

It was very expensive. Food and environment was not that great. I think it’s just a hype even water bottle cost £4 which is quite expensive.

Very pleasant and clean place, with great friendly customer service. Very responsive and timely in getting food to us. We went on a Saturday night for dinner, six people. Unfortunately the food was a huge let down. The mega grill (supposedly for two people and costing £30) was not ‘mega’ by any stretch. I have had platters for the same price but much more meat in there (and not mainly chicken wings either). The other individual dishes that the others had were also mediocre. The kofte kebabs weren’t as big as in the other (mainly Turkish restaurants), but unfortunately tasted pretty awful. Considering the prices we paid (plus service charge), I'm afraid this place is a massive rip off in terms of money. No complimentary sides such as salads etc., which most other places do.

This restaurant is top of our list of favourites but let us down today. We felt the food was missing usual flavours and the shawarma meat in both dishes didn’t taste fresh.

Bag experience , I couldn’t finish my dinner, the fan sistem was broken, smoke all over the restaurant and the manager was acting like nothing is happening. All the customers left! On my way out I looked in the kitchen and the chef was preparing the meet without gloves, touching his sweaty face (adding some flavour to it probably) and after the meat 🤮 NEVER AGAIN!

I was in the restaurant with my partner and literally we had to leave as the place was full of smoke. They have absolutely no idea how harmful it can be for a pregnant woman or an ill person. Strongly do not recommend.

Never again. £30 for 1 person gets you cold, stale food. Really gone downhill.

Although showing as delivered, this order was not delivered at all. I recieved a call from the restauarant to say that no Just Eat courier had turned up and had to collect the order myself from about 3 miles away well over an hour after delivery time

Grilled Into perfection all fresh and the lamb and the mix skewer is outstanding.

Highly recommend! Absolutely outstanding authentic Lebanese cooked fresh on a charcoal grill. We had a great evening everything was perfect. Thank you.

Ordered on Ubereats delivery was on time, the mixed grill l platter for 2 seems better suited for 1, the beef was lovely but the rest of the meats lacked tenderness and taste. The spicy sauce is great and goes very well with the meat for flavour and to help the food not feel so dry. Extra sauces were given in addition to the ones paid for so there was more than enough. The experience could be better in store but I have not been

Como acababa de abrir, solo había otra mesa ocupada, así como la nuestra, por lo que no estaba ocupada. Pedimos comida y bebidas y nos dimos cuenta de que no nos habían dado pan o salsas como la otra mesa así lo pidió. Nos dieron la más pequeña cantidad de salsa y rechazamos el pan (habíamos pedido entrantes y comida principal). La persona que servía no nos dijo ni una palabra. No nos ofrecieron más bebidas. El ambiente era tan malo que dejamos la mitad de la comida que no puedo fallar. En la salida a pagar le pedí a la persona que servía que por favor se quitara el servicio (nunca antes tenía que preguntar esto) y ella dijo que no podía hacer eso. Entonces tuve que esperar a que ella empacara las bolsas de comida para llevar antes de poder pagar. No solo gastamos dinero en comida que no comimos, sino que pagamos servicio a alguien que arruinó toda la experiencia. Cualquiera hubiera pensado que esta persona tenía un problema personal con nosotros. Incómodo y una pérdida de tiempo y dinero. Pero no puede faltar la comida. Quizás sea mejor quedarse para salir de este lugar.

Total disgrace all food swimming in the bottom of the bag, where is customer service????

Visited this restaurant on Saturday lunch time after travelling over 100 miles to visit a friend who suggested this place. As it had just opened there was only one other table occupied as well as our self’s so it was not busy. We ordered food and drinks and realised we had not been given bread or sauces like the other table so asked. We were given the tiniest amount of sauce and refused bread (we had ordered starters and mains). The person serving did not speak one word to us at all. We were not offered any further drinks. The atmosphere was that bad we left half the food which I cannot fault. On the way out to pay I asked the person who served to please take service off (never had to ask this before) and she said she could not do that. I then had to wait for her to pack up the take away food bags before being able to pay. Not only did we spend money on food we did not eat we paid service to someone who ruined the whole experience. Anyone would have thought this person had a personal problem with us. Awkward and a waste of time and money. Cannot fault the food though. Maybe it’s best to stick to take out from this place.

I ate here with one of my friends who didn't eat much and between us there was plenty of food, tastes great too. A pleasant surprise

Visited this place today for dinner, we were a big bunch. We were so famished that totally forgot about clicking pictures of the food once it arrived - totally worth the wait though. The food portions were great. Worth trying the Mega mix grill if you’re a big group. I would like to emphasise that all kinds of meat that were on the grill platter were cooked to perfection (unlike many other places which are mostly undercooked or chewy). Other worthy tries on the menu are the Arayes and lamb shawarma!

Very disappointed. I might as well have taken £50 and thrown it in the bin; it would have been the same. The salad wasn't fresh, and one portion of Baba Ghanouj wasn't sealed properly, so half of it ended up in the bag. I thought, fine, that can happen. I tried the second portion, but it smelled of vinegar. I don't know what I was given, but it tasted like food that had gone off badly. By that point, I didn't even want to touch the meat. Very disappointed and felt fooled. I will never order again.

Ordered through the deliveroo. It was advertised as a mega mix grill bring your friends over and enjoy. There is just about enough food for 2 people. The rice portion was ridiculous. About 3 table spoons of rice for a mega mix grill. The meat was raw sauces missing will never order again!! Spent £45 on a meal that was probably worth a maximum £20. Mini mix grill not mega!

The food was overall quite good, yet the pricing is a complete joke due to the low portion of food you get.

We specifically ordered the food for a specific time and specifically made note that we were opening our fast so we would appreciate it if it was not late. Even after this it was late and when I called the restaurant to find out hownlong it had been, the lady on the phone was so rude and said it wasn't her problem. When i said that was bad customer service she started to raise her voice at me and completely dismissed my concern. I will not be ordering from here again and that is specifically because of the rude woman and bad customer service.

We always walk past this place and fancied getting it delivered. We got a mixed shawarma wrap, falafel wrap and chips… It did not disappoint!!! Food was fresh and filling - would definitely recommend.

The shawarma wrap was dry. No flavour or sauce. Didn’t finish it. I’ve had it before and it has never been dry.

Calamari was light and crisp. Bread tasted flaky and home made. Recommended

Very disappointed, I ordered online, the chips arrived soggy and the shawarma was very dry and small, with a little amount of salad and sauce inside. I do not recommend, will never order from this restaurant again.

Dined inside and the food was lovely. However, a few things to note, the ventilation could be better, staff had to keep the restaurant door open to release all the cooking smoke as my eyes were burning. The staff were also very busy with takeaway orders, one of the meals was wrong, but they didn't charge for it and apologised for lack of service on the night. Overall it was a nice evening and we would recommend: The Lentil soup, Lamb meshwe, Lamb shish, Mixed Grill, Chips and Hummus Shawarma

Fantastic food at reasonable prices, and they offer a variety of tasty takeout options.

Had an absolutely lovely meal at Aya. Never been before but can highly recommend. All food really tasty, fresh and well presented. Very attentive and pleasant staff. Definitely worth a visit!

The staff here is unbelievably welcoming. When you try their shawarma, you know you are having real meat! With regards to the price, I would say it is fairly priced - considering the quality of food you are getting. A must visit as far as I am concerned 👌🏽

The fresh juice was nice the other mains were mediocre. Starters also mediocre Restaurant was empty yet it still took them a very long time to bring out the food

We went to Aya for the first time a couple of months back and we have been going back ever since the food tastes amazing!! staff are friendly and amazing too. Sutton Aya is the BEST Wimbledon could learn from them😊

Ordered a mixed grill and this is all there was, how was this almost £30?! Bread looks like it was bought from tesco. A lot better to order from Tas, better portions as well

Amazing good quality food, every time

The company used to be good, now has become thoroughly greedy, I made an order for their mixed grill which is a 2 person meal. The box they use holds little meat and is just laden with vegetables. If I spend £22 on a mixed grill, I want my moneys worth -- Not two bits of chicken...

Service was impeccable throughout. The food was amazingly delicious. I had the kafta wrap with chips and garlic sauce. My friend also enjoyed her meal. I will definitely be coming again and i would recommend aya to everyone. The decor was very authentically Lebanese. We both enjoyed it immensely.

Just found this gem. Authentic Lebanese food!!! Mixed grill was mouth watering. Tabouleh is 4/5. Lamb Arayes was the best out of all. The team was so friendly. The lady at service was so kind. Even served a free of dessert at the end!! Worth coming back…

We just had a late Sunday lunch at Aya's. Two of us are vegan and we had no problems at all. All the vegan (and vegetarian) options are marked. I had the vegan mousakka which was delicious and a very generous portion. In fact, all portions were very generous. Very good value for money also compared to other restaurants. Everything was delicious and the staff very attentive. Looking forward to another special occasion to come back. Thanks so much!!

Fat rude lady in the front with dark hair has no customer service basic skills or hygiene she seemed Romanian gypsy eating next to the till with no manners eating speaking same time with rude tone and being rude to customers appalling standards for Aya Lebanese grill her body language is not approachable to customers and why is she eating a wrap with mouth fall why being rude to customers who are trying to order “Ali” needs to investigate this womens horrendous behaviour fast this swine not even a women what a disgrace this is London Not Eastern Europe we have hygiene standards revolting ugly women! People be warned!

One of the most filthiest place in sutton ( after all the Chinese take away) should have thier license revoked!!- Unhygienic conditions .their meat delivered from unrefrigerated van from unknown source, into dirty plastic bags... Staff smoking outside the promises. Do not wash their hands after handling of food unsafe from consumption!!! And yes high prices!!!!!! . Dont eat there .you might get food poisoning!!-stupid staff work there .leaving back door open ...rodents seen at the back of the property. Leaving extration and air con running all night and day..( smell of deep fry food coming out of this shop any way)air con still not strong enough to cover that HORRIBLE SMELL!! . Good luck to customers who survive the horrific experience.............

I don't care what other reviews say, but this is the best food in this area. Pricey, but really worth it.

I ordered lamb shawarma for lunch on 05/91/2023 and on the evening of the day, didn't feel well. Next day I was dizzy and felt nauseated. Got food poisoning from Aya Lebanese Restaurant from Sutton. Felt slightly better after vomited the digested shawarna fatty lamb. Never go back to that place again.

Taste is very nice , but slightly expensive. But ofcourse it's their business

For the price, the restaurant was okayish. The portiona were not as big as the price. 35 £ for a mixed platter, but no bread and tasted ok. Shawarma wrap is not possible if you dine in. We ordered a shawarma plate, that came with rice. The falafel was good but overpriced.

Absolutely delicious food and welcoming staff but they only accept cash, which they didn't tell me when I called to book. Not taking cards put us in a difficult position when we got the bill. If they had mentioned on the phone that they only took cash, then I would have given them five stars because the quality of food and the attentive staff definitely deserve it.

Fresh food and amazing customer service really good and friendly I went there for lunch with a friend cause ...totally unexpected, but so happy I did. It seems like a familly business, very warm and welcoming. The waitress offered a dessert free of charge..overall very good customer service and amazing food all we needed to have a great lunch

Founded hair in my shawarma. The manager didn’t bother to sent new food or refund it.

They don't accept credit cards which is annoying. Rice and baby chicken were good. Lamb shawarma was not. And prices are too high for its portion size and I'm a tiny guy

For the price you pay the portions are tiny.

Tasty food. Bit on the expensive side, took away wraps and meatball main course. Main course was just meatball curry and rice, no accomplishments/salads/bread. Wraps were good and value for money. Staff were friendly and polite. Good location.

Food was average, but service was awful. Had to keep reminding staff that dishes were missing. Felt like they didn't want to serve the dishes we paid for to save money. At the end of the meal told only taking cash. Why not told at the beginning. Although looks like they were accepting cards on the phone. A bit of a con. Really disappointed.
