As always we were not disappointed. The meal was excellent both in terms of taste and value for money

I received my order and was appalled at the size of the chips, I was disgusted with the size of the whole meal, paying £50 for a tiny box of chips and small cods is not right at all, I will not be ordering from this place again!!

I ordered a extra large cod and I know it was a lot smaller very dissatisfied

After a couple of disasters with our orders last year. We finally decided to give Just Eat one more chance. So glad we did. Food arrived on time and piping hot

Why doesn’t this place allow to order online? There’s no option on the website which in this day and age seems bonkers.

Cod was perfectly cooked. Crispy tasty batter, tasty cod. 😋 one of the best in the area prices are fair and average. I did also eat in which was a good as they served some bread and prawns also they ain't tight like most places on the tartar sauce which is great for a fish shop 😆👍.parking is ok with a place to pay for parking or next to the shop is a single yellow line with parking after 6:30pm. Overall definitely will be coming back.

This fish & chip shop didn't do so well for a few years but I have been 4 or 5 times so far this year and each has been as good as the one before. The chips are super fresh, as is the fish - no soggy batter! The staff friendly and the portions substantial. Fish & chips has got expensive lately compared to in years previously but this place has also upped it's value where others have lowered quality and increased prices. Will be back again for sure!

This used to be our go-to fish and chip purely because everywhere else wasn’t as good but every single time we got takeaway they would mess up our order, forget to give us a part of it etc. on the third time I called them and they obviously said come back and we will give you what was missing. This wasn’t worth our time as we live a good 10 minute drive away and the rest of the food would’ve been cold. We swore the last time would be the last and we started using the California in Belmont (excellent btw). This was about a year ago. Well we happened to be passing there this evening and thought we’d give it another go. Returned home to find they’d mucked our order up yet again and not only that, the cods were tiny, smallest we’ve seen and all the food was so greasy. We sort of forgave the chaotic orders because the food was nice but tonight just reminded us why we don’t bother going there anymore. I could understand if they were busy but tonight they weren’t, they are clearly just incompetent. Will not be returning.

Fish was vile. Perhaps cooked a lunch time and warmed up for my supper . Cold when I received the order, seemed to take a long time from leaving restaurant to getting to me. Never again

The food was delivered very quickly, much faster than advertised, and the delivery guy was very pleasant and efficient.

My wife, my granddaughter and I went for a super cod and chips lunch. Food included a complementary dish of prawn and warm crusty bread. Food was all excellent as was the service. Absolutely 100% satisfaction.

Excellent value. Prawns and bread and butter all included with cod and chips and cup of tea. Lovely staff. All together good experience.

fish is getting smaller and at 17 quid with chips, it's getting too pricey, there's better value out there

Having spent over 36 pounds on three large cod and two large chips it was very disappointing. Chips were cold and hard not the standard of a ‘superfish ‘ when called to complain manager was very rude and arrogant

Courier claimed he couldn’t find the house, took order back to Superfish. He didn’t speak English. Superfish phoned me and told me to cancel the order. Then it suddenly arrived 45mins late and cold. £42 for cold Huss and chips. Also we had a guest who won’t be using Just Eat. This is the second time in two weeks that we’ve been let fown

Had haddock and chips, both were excellent. Mushy peas weren’t so good but don’t detract enough to warrant a 4 star review.

This is the best Fish & Chip shop in the area. They fry in beef dripping and the food is delicious and cooked to perfection.

Lovely cod and chips, which comes with crusty bread, 4 shell on prawns, pickles and all the usual condiments plus a pot of tea for less than £15. Friendly service. Only about 8 tables so often full.

One of the best fish meals we’ve ever had. Beautifully fried fish (we had haddock and cod) and the chips too both non greasy. They give you as extras small prawns, pickled cucumbers and onions and hot French bread and butter all FOC. The Lady who served our table was so nice, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely go back and wholeheartedly recommend.

This is my local fish and chip shop. I’ve never ate in the restaurant, but I get a takeaway quite regularly from here. Tasty fish and chips but I’ve had bigger portions for the price they charge elsewhere. Otherwise tasty and I would recommend.

Lovely fish and chips it's not a posh restaurant but it's the best fish and chips and that's what's important. After a beer in the pub around the corner pop in hear for your dinner you won't be disappointed. Great pickles as well.

The lady that cooked a small cod at around 18.30pm this evening on 11/5/23 deserves a pay rise! Finally, a truly delicious piece of fish, tender, tasty and exactly the right amount of batter. The quality that earned Cheam Superfish awards 50 years ago, but which has been sadly missing for a very long time, even if still better than other fish and chip shops. Indeed, I won't even buy chips any more from Cheam Superfish as last time, on a Tuesday, the girl behind the counter spent the 10 minutes I was waiting for my order to cook, finger dipping into the batter, cherry picking all the best chips for herself. It was truly disgusting to watch and I was served up and took home all the potato ends, which made up a meal of literally just fish and grease rather than fish and chips. There was so much grease I was actually ill the next day. So once again, well done the lady this evening and thank you for a truly excellent piece of fish, cooked to perfection!

This was my go to spot for lunch when I first started working over 30 years ago. The taste is consistent with that time. Great fish n chips.

Cheam village Superfish I always sit in their small restaurants. Great traditional fish and chips. Tasty batter on the cooked to perfection and lovely thick chips cooked in fresh oil.

I was disappointed that the order has no lemon inside the container. Otherwise the food was fine.

Great dining experience if you eat in , love the sides that come with the food too .

The staff at the restaurant are very rude. We called to complain about our food and missing items and was told that they had other issues to deal with.

Good quality fish and chips been a regular customer for years.

This place makes consistently excellent fish and chips. The scampi is the best I've found anywhere around here with good sized scampi pieces in a thin and crispy batter.

Undoubtedly the best fish & chips in the area. Several types of fish available including 3 sizes of cod. The fish is tender & fresh & they make their own chlps ! They offer take-away & seating although the restaurant area is limited

Was concerned it would be cold and lost the crisp on the batter but it was really good on both counts. Also I thought I’d ordered chips but I hadn’t so they put some in, in case I had missed thought they were included with the fish

If I could give this restaurant 0/5 stars, I would. I got served FROZEN salmon. The manager smells of cigarettes and reeks of alcohol. I heard him shouting in the restaurant and the way he talks to his staff is disrespectful. There is also a 20 year old assistant manager who does not have enough experience and qualifications to be able to run the restaurant, when I suspect the manager is out drinking on the job. Go to this restaurant if you want food poising.

Kindly, as I wasn't feeling well, my husband ordered a deliver from Superfish Cheam to be delivered to me. He is on duty and thus did this on his break. He realised he made a mistake for collection rather than delivery. It's a half hour walk from my house so being a bit under the weather, to collect wouldn't really work and would be cold when I get there. So, he asked if I could call and change it to a delivery. I said I'd ask but they don't have their own delivery drivers. First time I called, I spoke to a guy who wasn't listening to me properly or had problems understanding me. He kept saying "we don't do Deliveroo". I said not Deliveroo, DELIVERY. He told me we had to cancel it with Justeat and then re-order. However, this was not possible as it wasn't from my account. So, I called again and spoke to a different guy. I asked what time I would need to come and collect it because being a half hour walk, I needed to time it correctly. He said it will be collected from here and delivered to us. I said "are you sure?" He said yes. I told him be An hour later, I call again, a lady answers and hands me over to the manager (this was the first guy I spoke to). He told me no one collected it. I tried to explain this is why I didn't come to collect it, because I was told not to as it would be delivered. He SCREAMED and I mean, SCREAMED at me, said he's got lots of things to do, if I wasn't bothering to come, he's got other things to do. I had to shout to try to be heard that I am not saying I WON'T bother, I said I DIDN'T for this reason, he just SCREAMED at me and hung up on me. I called back. I told him he put the phone down on me. He said "of course, I don't have to listen to you, I have better things to do than deal with you". I said I would never order from his shop again and that his customer service skills were terrible. He continued to scream and said "I don't care, GOOD, I don't want you to order from me again". I told him I have ordered so many times for Cheam House (a community living house) and that because of me, they've ordered for the whole house every week. He said "well good riddance, I don't want to have customers ordering that are too simple to place an order (FYI this is a house for men with additional needs) I said I would let everyone know of this disgusting service and behaviour on Google, Nextdoor, Facebook. He continued to scream "I don't care who you tell, tell the whole world, you mean nothing to me" and hung up on me again. I feel like if it were my husband there in person, there's no way he would speak to a large, strong looking bloke like this but because I'm on the phone and a female, he feels he can. This man is a bully, prejudice, has no listening or customer service skills and in my mind, abusive.

Worked here and got told to never come back, impolite and impatient manager who doesn’t listen and fires people for having COVID and is just rude and hangs up on the phone when we are in pain. Overall the food is good ( sometimes ).

Great little fish and chip shop in Cheam town. About 8 tables serving great fish. Really nice people. We each ordered a different dish: scampi, plaice and calamari. All were wonderful. Will definitely visit again.

I had the cod which was disappointing. It was smaller than I thought it would be so it was over priced for what you got. I've had better for a lower price. The chips were tasty. The battered sausage - it was slightly burnt. Overall I wasn't that pleased and I won't be rushing to use again.

Food cooked to order, delicious and generously portioned. We think they're the best in the Sutton/Cheam/Belmont area having tried the competition.

Wonderful fish (especially the haddock) and chips, the best in the local area for sure. Cooked the right way using beef dripping (sorry vegans!) instead of toxic and inflammation-causing vegetable/seed oils, therefore the food is filling without being greasy. Great chips, nice and crispy. Very friendly and hospitable owner too.

Delivered promptly, food was hot and tasty. We had this at lunchtime so had the small fish which was perfect for us. The chips were really tasty and not too greasy.

The Best Cod and Chips 🐟 Down South "Cooked the Traditional Yorkshire Way". From my Grandad who is an adopted Yorkshire'man for 28 Years with Whitby, North Yorkshire on his doorstep nearby "Very Good for Down South". With Prawns and French Bread and Butter as an Appetizer when eating at the Restaurant part, what's not to like! 😋. I'll be back time and time again and for Takeaway too.

It was abundantly clear that the oil was filthy as the batter on the fish was dark instead of golden brown. The batter didn’t survive the 4 minute journey home as it soon became soggy and limp. Judging by previous reviews, they obviously don’t change the oil as often as they should. Funny thing is, if you use clean oil the fish actually cooks quicker and the batter stays crisp! It’s not like cooking oil is expensive even if you are going through a couple of hundred litres a week! Really poor. I’ll stick to Marina Fish Bar in Stonecot Hill

Batter was soggy, which is very unusual from Superfish.

Would be 4 stars but superfish are slowly pricing themselves out of the market, also cod getting smaller and smaller. Good portion of chips though.
