Lovely fish and chips, fish is tasty and batter isn’t heavy. Mushy peas are super tasty, not heavy and taste of actual peas and not much else added. Chips are crispy and delicious. Food is worth the price. Quick and efficient delivery.

I live local and always use these guys, as their food is faultless. Rock / Huss is my favourite fish, and there's is probably the best in Sutton. Fresh fish all the time, light batter, freshly cooked chips always. they also offer all the fish as a grilled option, for the same price, which is great for those not to keen on batter. Well done Sutton Fish Bar! see you soon.

Nice little fish bar, not really a restaurant as only 2 small tables, food was fresh, hot and very good portions

Just Ordered off Just eat and usually like to eat at fish n chip restaurants as it gets so cold by the time I get it home, felt a bit unwell so thought id give delivery a go but obviously a motorbike delivery man got it to me very quickly and it was piping hot! Loved it. 😊

Went in the first time a few days ago. A wonderfully presented cod and chips. Excellently cooked and very enjoyable.

Gone downhill since change of ownership. Can't call it a restaurant anymore, if you sit in you get served up in the cardboard takeaway box with little wooden knife and fork. Shame.

Not great. Chips slightly hard, almost like they are not fully cooked. Oil tastes very old and leaves a nasty after taste. Gravy is OK but not for the price. Fish is nice but the batter is a bit greasy. Not the worst fish and chips but there are much better places within a 1 mile radius. Good service and nice people but you can definitely get better food for the same price, or cheaper.

Just eat, utter fraud. Took my money and failed to deliver. On the bright side, the cost of fuel crisis will put them out of business. 👍

Large portion seemed like a medium size despite the larger box. Chips were not fresh and not flavourful. Is this business under new management. The chips are completely different to before.

I hated the way you showed yourself up by shouting outside the pub , ( today ) having a go at Fryday Fish Bar managers. You have just given yourself a bad name , I certainly won’t be going to your place for fish and chips yours are Horrible. And you are horrible as well , you upset me for slagging another shop . We all have to eat and it doesn’t matter were we go . You are Horrible people.

It was very late in the evening. The chips might be the last batch. It was a bit hard but service is good. The battered sausage is great. Little bit on the expensive side but I guess everywhere is the same now

Just this evening got my family fish and chips for tea and wow disgusting.... the chips are re cooked and full of oil squeeze the chip and it explodes like a spot being popped ... no hair nets for the staff no beard coverings overall nasty I will be taking this issue further.. plus they allow there staff to walk in off the streets and take their coat off behind the counter start work and not even wash their hands .... now how was your dinner hope you don't catch anything nasty or catch a hair in your food ... won't be going back again ..@ sutton fish bar I've had already had to ask you for fresh chips last week as you was just going to serve them how long old ..... and nothing about the hair and facial hair no ..... and best fish and chips that's really not true is it .. I will not eat from your fish bar again nor will my family and friends

Finally a place that I can call the best eating place in town, which I didn't know Sutton was missing such gem. Delicious meals; affordable prices; very friendly staff; very clean and neat place. Oh, and located in a very good area. Can't wait to be back and enjoy more of your delicious meals.

I visited this fish and chip shop yesterday! I ordered two cod and chips and two battered sausages. FYI if you are after beef sausages they do them here! I was impressed! Best Fish&Chips in Sutton, great quality and service. 🥰 I would definitely recommend this restaurant to every fish lover. Fish is cooked to perfection and fresh not sitting in the hot cabinet and the chips also fresh and chunky. Staff very friendly and kind, helpful with choices for food and they are doing a good job to keep the queue time at a minimum.

The service I received was polite and friendly, the food was excellent, the portion I received was large and very cheap for the price I paid, highly recommended.

Missing chips and refused to give me a refound

Ordered from just eat, missing 3 jumbo sausages, called owner he said was gonna send them with a driver, an hour later still no sausages, won't be using again

Very friendly plaice (geddit?) and huge portions! I ordered two fish and chip meals to go, one regular, one large. He put loads of chips into the box and added an enormous fish, which was so big he had to fold it in two so that it would fit. Just as I was laughing to myself that that was probably the regular I realised it WAS the regular. He then prepared the large - much the same as the regular but with an extra piece of fish. It all went down very well indeed.

Always order here and was great saw price increase on cod and thought its worth it not tonight either ownership has changed or cut backs cause no where near as nice as before my 1st place i order but may have to look elsewhere now and food was not that warm either taste was not as great as before and portion was less 9.99 for a cod you would expect a decent cod which it has been but not tonight and also the gherkin we ordered was not editable as was squishey like its gone off

Very poor customer service. Collection or delivery, your order will never arrive on time. And the rude staff won’t do anything about it. AVOID at all costs. There’re far better places in Sutton with better food quality and great service.

Serves Halal Fish & Chips. Overall great however parking is difficult to find, easiest option is to park in Sainsbury's issue and walk to here.

Very thin cod and the chips where the driest left out for too long chips I've ever had, and im 52!!!!! Never again, too icky for me. And what's in the spring roll except blended whatever they put inside.

Didn't call, didn't deliver. Called half an hour after delivery time. Didn't care.

Really disappointed With my order Rock was so small and soggy obviously not cooked fresh, chips could of done with longer in the fryer, normally really impressed with this fish and chip shop have ordered many times before, and it’s not cheap will try another one next time.

Order from here often. Food is always good. Never had a bad meal. I definitely recommend. Much better than some fish and chip shops in the area. I will continue to order from here in the future

Just been to get 1x large cod and chips and 1x regular cod and chips.. Get them home.. No cod in the large cod and chips.. Shop was full of just eat drivers so had to wait outside. £8 for a portion of chips.. Tried to call phone always engaged.. Learn to look after all your customers not the delivery drivers stood waiting.. I used to bring my daughter here to get fish and chips as a treat every Wednesday. I won't be going there again..

Very unhygienic staff Fast food places like this should strictly follow the hygiene rules at this difficult times and help the community. When I was at this restaurant for a takeaway, one of the staff had sneezed into his hands but didn’t bother washing them afterwards and carried on working. Pathetic

it's not the first time we takeaway from this shop but tonight I'm so disappointed , the food is wet, greasy fish which is so thin and oily batter . It's not cheap and right now it's not cheerful . If I could post a picture you would see 😣

Most Expensive takeaway, a single fish meal cost me almost £12 pounds, they even charge for the ketchup & bbq sauces separately, the fish portion was also very small. I think that price is a complete rip-off, I won't recommend buying from them. Next door is Lahore Spices where a full hearty meal cost £7 pounds with sauces, salad and drink.

Quick service and great selection of food available, also quality was very good.
