Another visit to Aviemore Inn for John's fabulous Steak Pie and a few drinks. Yet again it did not disappoint. This is a lovely friendly wee pub which John and Mary should be very proud of. If in Aviemore you should definitely pop in for food/drinks.

The Aviemore Inn in the holiday park is a great wee pub, cosy and welcoming and the food is excellent! Been coming here for last four years and this never fails to impress!

Had a fantastic night at the Aviemore inn bar and grill. John and Mary made us feel so welcome, and Mary makes the bestest macaroni ever! We had such a laugh. We will definitely be going again.

Just had an absolutely lovely meal and drinks at the Aviemore Inn. The customer service was excellent from start to finish. We were all made to feel very welcome from John as we walked in, his wife Mary whom I had reserved a table with earlier was also very welcoming. The Ladies washroom “are very nice in indeed” was my wife’s comment. The gents were also spotless and very clean and well decorated. We will certainly be visiting again, thank you John & Mary Cheers Rod

Great to have a restaurant on site when we stayed in one of the lodges. We had a very good meal but service was a bit slow. Could be as one person seemed to be doing everything but he did a very good job given he had no support.

My family and myself came here to eat whilst on holiday. We arrived just as the kitchen was closing (may I add it closes at 7pm but unfortunately it is not posted). The lovely owner still served us and was very friendly and couldn't have been more kind. All the staff were this way inclined. The food was your good old home made pub grub. It went down a treat. The only thing that I have to mention is that my family and myself were made to feel very uncomfortable. As we were eating they decided to put on the football on the TV, which was extremely loud. Not only that we were surrounded by people wearing football colours. This put us in an awkward position. As an advertised family, friendly bar and grill and also situated in a holiday park, maybe putting into place that no football colours are to be warn in the premises, would be much more ideal. People can get very upset and aggressive when it comes to football and with children around it just makes you feel uneasy and worried. Other than that it's a lovely wee place.

This Bar/Restaurant is on the Aviemore Holiday Park and the food is excellent and at very reasonable prices. We've been here quite a few times now and not been dis-appointed with any meal. It's all home made food, including the sweets/puddings and is served in the very large cosy bar. This time of year is very cosy as they have a large log fire roaring away with a couple of sofa's near the fire for you to relax on before and after your meal. Being only a five minute walk from the centre of Aviemore, or there is plenty of car parking spaces, makes it an ideal location for your meal and a drink. We'll be back again, soon.

We noticed a sign on the main road for a Bar and Grill which we thought was for sure somewhere else but we discovered it is located within the Aviemore Holiday Park which is for people staying in caravans and lodges. The building is quite small but has a good number of tables and chairs with nice decoration, a roaring wood burner and a well stocked bar. The owners and staff are extremely friendly and gave us a warm welcome but dogs are not allowed in. No matter as the weather was nice and there is a lovely outdoor sitting area with good tables and chairs - even flowers on the tables was a nice touch. The bar food menu is short but with the additions of a specials board is adequate. The homemade soup with a warm roll and butter starter was lovely and over 3 days we had different mains from chilli, pasta and scampi all with a good portion size and the prices all at under £9. The only negative was the sweet which was a crumble but only served in a tea cup which was just too little for the price. The bar also has live music at night but we only visited during the afternoon when food is served from noon until 7pm. We shall return on our next trip to Aviemore and recommend others to pop in simply as compared to other eateries it is excellent value for freshly prepared home style food - missed out on the steak pie so that is one to look forward to.

Won't be back the owner is so rude . If you pay for drinks in a pub hotel . You expect a thank you. Total anti children our three year old was chatting and we Heard the owners rude comment about him . Also we took her seat . The poor lass who runs hand and foot for this person is so friendly it's the only reason we stayed so long . Won't be back and won't recommend to any of our family and friends that visit the port . Maybe someone will take over the Caledonian and make it a hotel and pub again . We have been visiting the port for 40 years and haven't experienced the unfriendly signal we got from the castle hotel .

What a fantastic find on our recent visit to Inverness. Brilliant wee cafe with extremely friendly staff. Great menu and selection of fresh cakes. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and to top it all they are doggy friendly which meant we didn’t need to leave our 14yr old pooch in the car. Would definitely recommend a visit.
