The steak and kidney pie supper was a regular order of mine when I lived near here. It was always great. The chips were amazing. All swimming in salt, vinegar, mushy peas and gravy. The staff were always friendly as well.

Very grubby chippy on a very grubby road. Nearest chipshop to the station, but that is probably all it has to recommend it. Probably best visited drunk, and don't scrutinise the fixtures and fittings too closely.

Siento ser tan crítica, pero este lugar es realmente horrible. Por desgracia, hay una carencia de tiendas decentes de chip en el centro de Liverpool; no obstante el Athena debe ser evitado.Última noche, pedí carne y tarta, patatas fritas y un cartón de salsa curry. Acabé con tarta, patatas fritas y salsa. Ah, y en buena medida, cubiertas en sal y vinagre - que no lo pide.Este fue el último de una larga cola de malas experiencias en el Athena. Sigo diciendo que nunca más, esta vez me refiero.
