I went in this establishment and asked for a gluten free beer. I was told there was none. Having just come back from London I was extremely disappointed not to be able to have a drink after my journey. I’m assuming their food won’t be GF either.

Really nice place. Have had the breakfast pie a couple of times. The home made hash browns are delicious. Bartender and the beef sandwich is delicious

Avoid, avoid, avoid. I thought I would try this chippy due to the reviews. I was beyond horrified at the state of the chips. The chips were NOT edible at all. My 6 year old chocked over it. The chips tasted as though they had been cooked the night before and been reheated, false economy. I will stick to my local one next time. I am questioning if the positive reviews are genuine..

I used to love the food in this place.. serving staff was great used to go twice a week... I then treated the whole office for there dinner, chips were under cooked (very) and pies were cold... I phoned up to explain I left my number 15 minutes later I got a call 📱 I again explained the situation to be told we don’t freeze our food!!! I bet that but you clearly don’t cook them either. No sorry no nothing. Never again

The quality of these pies are outstanding, the price , the mash, the peas , just amazing , the service is friendly and efficient,

I was hoping to try this on a day off and it happened to be rainy so perhaps not many customers. However a very cheery and polite serving person made sure everything was OK. Great pie, chips etc. It's clear that some thought has gone into this concept. As a non-retro retro (i.e old) I recognised all the vintage tracks coming through the sound system so it wasn't quirkily on-trend ironic to me, but then not unpleasant either. The food was the main thing and that worked. Shame the table didn't as it kept slipping under the slightest of pressure, even from application of wooden fork...just a tad annoying. May have have helped if I'd had someone else on other side for ballast.

Had our first visit on Saturday lunchtime and I can say for certain it won’t be the last Firstly the young girl serving was brilliant and very friendly, customer service does mean a lot and this place has it in abundance A very good beer selection in the fridge And as for the food it is to die for Unfortunately there were no pies available (apart from the breakfast version !) on this visit but that isn’t a problem as it’s something to look forward next time But the sandwiches we had were absolutely gorgeous I could not recommend Ate Days A week highly enough 👍🐝

Visited Ate days a week on a miserable rainy afternoon in Stockport and had the 'Club Foot' & 'Bartender & the Beef ' it was amazing!! Food is pure quality with an imaginative menu. Love the fresh approach.

Having the seen the social media and hype about this place thought it should be worth a visit and we were not disappointed. The pies were incredible, chips are the best I’ve tasted in a long time and washed down with a beer. Great playlist and can’t wait to visit again.

Visited this new place last week and had a couple of sandwiches. Great idea giving each one a musical theme - had a Bartender and the Beef and some sausage rolls. Excellent food, good value and definitely will be heading back a few times

I could talk about this place for days on end, absolutely fantastic, the sandwiches are out of this world beef and red wine gravy or ham, piccalilli and egg what more could you ask for, then there’s the added bonus of a proper sausage roll or a tasty dessert

What. A. Place! The food served here is impeccable. Everybody needs to go and visit, you won't be disappointed! Brilliant staff, brilliant food, brilliant atmosphere, not one fault!
