Astronomy Cafe in Kensington and Chelsea

Tal vez tuvimos mala suerte, pero nos dieron un poco de chocolate caliente tibio y Latte tibio. Los pasteles parecían bien, pero si las bebidas son pobres, entonces no tiene sentido ir. Mejoramos en el mercado de Greenwich.

Si la caminata hasta el observatorio te ha dejado agotado, este Café es una aceptable alternativa para tomer y comer algo (nada sofisticado)

Uma vez que você foi visitar o observatório e quiser comer, tem algumas opções possíveis perto. O Astronomy Café tem uma vista linda, se você conseguir uma mesa lá fora e se o tempo não estiver tão bom tem opções para se sentar dentro também. O cardápio não é tão variado, mas tudo que comemos estava gostoso. Ele fica no andar mais baixo do observatório.

Realmente no puedo comentar sobre la comida ya que no compré nada para comer o beber durante mi viaje al Planetario Peter Harrison. Pero diré que el menú no parecía tener tanta variedad en ese momento y era demasiado caro por lo que ofrecían. Me gusta el patio al aire libre, aunque. Eso se veía bien.

Disfrutamos de un café rápido y un pastel aquí antes de nuestra visita al Planetario. Estaba cerca del final del día y no había mesas limpias.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon at the Astronomy Cafe - we stood on the terrace, a quiet place even if it was crowded. Inside nothing special, but the coffe was quit good and the environments are quit senzational, if it's not raining.

Nice venue,food good,friendly enough.Might struggle if very busy as staff seemed run off their feet.

If you are visiting Greenwich Observatory, then sooner or later you will want to nibble on something. The Astronomy Cafe is a decent option. It will not disappoint you. However there is nothing memorable about it either.

A little cramped inside but plenty of room on the terrace and parterre. Coffee's good, if a little tight on the measure, can't speak for the food.

We had the Thai chicken stew served with a slice of crusty bread. We got a large portion with plenty of real chicken as opposed to pre packed diced chicken. Very flavoursome and at under £6 a real treat. Add to that a pot of good strong tea and a good lunch was had. Since the weather was fair we ate on the terrace outside as we found the inside a little noisy due to the echo voices in the main cafe.

A not very big restaurant/cafe placed next to London's Planetarium.I had a short stop here,for a quick lunch,consoisting in a chicken curry.It was delicious.Not crowded though it was lunch time.Helpful staff.

This is a lovely little cafe and we went here for a snack. I had a lovely cup of tea and my friend a cup of coffee. Its pleasant and the staff are nice and friendly and look clean. Its welcoming and I will revisit as I did like it.

Luckily, I went on a dry day and got to sit at the very pleasant outside seating area! I had a kids cheese sandwich was nice, a little dry, but good fresh lemonade and gorgeous lemon drizzle loaf cake! Nice friendly service. Yes the inside did look plain, but for a brief rest-stop it's not that bad.

Pleasant but undistinguished cafe, not really enticing for sitting inside - but if it's the time of year when you can sit outside, then well worth making the time to relax with a coffee and enjoy the atmosphere. Oh, and members get a discount!

Was clean and tidy and had everything you might want from a cafe. I have nothing bad to say about it. It is a cafe.

Visited here for a quick lunch but were disappointed by the variety and quality of food on offer. Looked very dirty and sticky tables so we got an ice-cream each and sat outside. You'd think as this is the only eating place on site for...

We were able to sit outside on a lovely November morning with a fantastic view. My only criticism is that the coffee comes in paper cups not China.

Basic but tasty food. Would be lovely in the summer to sit at the outdoor tables and to enjoy the view

Was part of our visit to the Greenwich planetarium. The food was alright. The soup was very good and tasty. Good spacious outdoor seating. Great visit on a sunny day

Enjoyed a scone and coffee while touring the observatory and site. Staffed by very nice young people.

This is the only cafe at the Royal observatory and good if you need a quick food break. The kids boxes Include half a sandwich, a small juice, carrot sticks and pudding which is good for young kids. There wasn't a wide variety of sandwiches...

Small cafe with outside seating to enjoy a drink between sessions at the planetarian and the Royal Observatory.

Nice and handy place to grab a bite to eat,and a cup of tea,having said that the tea comes in cardboard cups.(rather dissapointing). Summing up,ok for a quick visit,would we come again to the Observatory, & the Astronomy cafe,?now we won't.

Nice clean cafe area in astronomy centre. Good variety of snacks, sweet and savoury, coffee etc. plenty of seating both inside and at outside tables. Quick polite service even when busy

Whilst visiting the observatory we popped in here for a quick snack and toilet stop. The home made soup was excellent and good value. The outside seating area is very pleasant but the inside area lets it down a bit.

This is a clean and well organized cafe. Ideal for coffee or tea and snacks, just the place to placate the kids with some sweets and for Mom and Dad to have a quiet cup of tea.

It's nice to sit out and enjoy the Park and the unusual surroundings of the Observatory. Teas, coffees, cakes, sandwiches. Admittedly the range isn't massive, but it's a very relaxing spot.

A very welcome cafe with a nice outdoor seating area to have refreshments after or during round the Observatory.

Had hoped to have lunch here but very poor selection. I have a gluten intolerance and there was a choice of one (it had coconut which I don't like so no food for me!) Did not even have a selection of coffees! Hot day so...

The cafe itself did not look very inviting but their terrace is in a nice spot and with the sun out I had a nice time with a latte and a chocolate cake that was quite good.

I know this is just a small café but it was overpriced for what was a very basic canteen type place and not worth a visit considering the competition on your doorstep
