ASDA Cafe in Bolton

The food was awful. I ordered a kids ham sandwich as part of the kids deal offer and it was dry white bread with no butter. I ordered a jacket potato with beans and cheese which was ok, but the salad on the side was clearly off because there were brown soggy bits. Expensive. Not returning again

Christmas shopping on the middlebrook . Decided to nip into Asda for a cooked breakfast .Got to the counter only two members of staff on didn't think anything of it ordered two large breakfasts and two cappuccinos first thing set the alarm bells ringing they didn't have the correct cups for the drink ended up with two large mugs half full .Went and sat down on looking around pretty empty so didn't think it would take long for food how wrong was I .Half an hour later it arrived and if this large it was disappointing no toast small blob of beans bacon not the best and the whole thing was barely warm ate some of it but to be honest it one was of the worst breakfasts I have come across .I was going to complain but there was a gentleman screaming and shouting at the restaurant staff so thought better of it and left won't be returning anytime soon .

I was due to start work at Bolton Arena on Tuesday August 6th and was early so called on the Asda cafe for a coffee and toast. The lady who served me was super smiley (also considering the early hour) and provided table service. Great start to the day thank you

Called in while shopping just for a drink with my granddaughter found a table no problem it was clean staff were friendly and polite I have been before a while ago and it was just as good.

Well we had travelled to Retail Park to pick up a cruise coach to go to Southampton .our journey didn’t start off good , we were held up with a accident, and arrived at Horwich later than we expected to, so thought we would go and have a quick snack, drink and toilet visit at McDonalds, this was our second problem it was closed due to refurbishment. So off we popped to Asda cafe, but that only opened at 08.00, which was to late for us as our coach was due then. Our First bit of good news and EXCELLENT service came from Lesley in the cafe . We explained about our issues and problems, and she was wonderful, went totally out of her way to help us by warming us a quick snack. Lesley is wonderful and deserves a fantastic pat on the back from the Asda management for her great customer skills.She did not have to do anything as the cafe was not due to open till 08.00., but she did and we all thoroughly appreciate everything she did for us. dropped car off at Kia for service and went for breakfast at ASDA. Excellent service and breakfast was spot on good quality produce 10/10.

Frozen food still cold in the middle when served Dirty tables and ignorant staff I will not set foot in the place if it was free

Haven't been before called in with my young granddaughter after shopping I got a orange juice and took it to the counter we decided to have crumpets we stood there 2 members of staff behind counter,no acknowledgement to even say they wouldn't be long,waited at least 5 minutes for them to ask what we wanted (I know they were cooking a breakfast balm for someone else but they could have spoken to me).Food was served and was good just need to be a little more friendlier with customers.

Food not good, Cleanliness poor, Staff hygiene leaves a lot to be desired, not happy seeing someone handling my cooked food with bare hands. As for the lay out of the Cafe too many tables squashed together you need to be a contortionist to get in & out.Sandwiches ok & usually good value providing they havn't run out, Coffee ok.

My husband and I go in every Thursday after shopping. The staff are very friendly helpful.Food is basic but it's only a cafe but the staff are faultless clean tidy and very helpful will yet again go next week

Been here a couple of times, poor quality food and drinks, slow service cardboard plates, no thanks 😑, need to upgrade everything and give more choices, Tesco cafe is way ahead of this one in Asda.

Tried again, mainly coz i was so parched. takes forever for a manager to arrive, and treated as if i was tresspassing on her time. Wont be making that mistake again. Refunding money was not what i required, service and decent products to consume was all that was needed. Way to much it seems to ask.

OK, we didn't actually - they lost business! There are signs up claiming food is freshly prepared, it was lunchtime so not late in the day. My boys can be fussy eaters and my eldest decided on a tuna panini. Unfortunately after quite a wait (service was slow) the customer before us ordered the last one. The last one somewhere freshly prepared with a whole supermarket's worth of stock to hand?

Ok for a quick cheap bite. Staff pleasant, but food is the quality you would expect for the price you pay.

we ate here yesterday the tastiest thing was paper plate it was awful tasteless cheese and ham toastie the coffee was just passable

If you want a break in the middle of a hard days shopping then why not try here. There isn't a tremendous choice but there will be something for you and it is good.

went bacause i was hungy, just had a brew and a bacon barm. the place was so busy it was hard to find seats together and as i was on crutches, it was not ideal, but the food and brew was good.

Intentamos tomar un desayuno durante todo el día en 2. 20:00 h. Dijo la señora hasta que conseguimos nada izquierda tienen a un compañero. Respuesta no! ! Todo ha desaparecido. Caminamos lejos porque era tan miserable y Lynne nada. Mi nieta tenía hambre, así que volvimos y salchichas con patatas y judías ordenados. Este estaba disponible pero no ofrecieron como reemplazo de antes. El personal era muy poco aparte de una señora que era preciosa. Creo que los administradores deberían ver Personal y fomentar un ambiente agradable para los clientes. No personal que simplemente no puede ser molestado! ! !

Pleasant area to eat or drink. Better for drinks stop rather than food. My toasted sandwich was only grilled one side and was a little greasy. Polystyrene plates are not a good choice of crockery. Staff were nice though.

Paid just short of £10 for 2 coffees 1 panini and a large breakfast Photo in the cafe showed a fried tomato and they put plumed tomatoes on it and totally ruined it. I asked why there was no fried tomato they said we ran out. That's no good to me as I hate them.She turned away and walked off

Visited this cafe after trying to do some shopping guide. But failing miserably as half the items on my list were either not stocked or out of stock. I expected a big store to have full shelves especially at 11am but anyway. The cafe was a last minute decision and one that was a middle of the road experience. Had coffees ...which were OK. Had worse but had better. Also experienced a cake which was very nice and not dry which I must admit is always a fear when eating somewhere new. Pleasant staff and service time was good. Tables were clean and only a few empties but from people who were leaving as we arrived. Overall nice

If you want to be pushed and prodded and try and get served good luck! Just like being at a football match at half time. Not for me!

Breakfast and bacon or sausage barms are lovely so is the hot chocolate. The grandchildren love their kids deals as they can choose their own items and love the activity packs

Rude unhelpful staff at Asda Hyde, disgusting behaviour! Aggressive & assaulted me. Shouted & made derogatory comments! They were discriminatory against my disability

Service was OK food was OK, not a great choice and seemed to be microwave cooked. Drinks were OK. But for the price can't grumble. Average food for an average price.

Asda good for everything else but the cafe was disappointing will stick to mcdonalds in future for breakfast

We go here quite a lot. the snacks are good and tea and coffee very cheap. the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Small cafe which doesn't do the full range of food. It was...OK ish. The breakfast was all microwaved, but not unpleasant, and a good price considering.

The place is fine, but NOT in the same league as say M&S next door. Quick cheap drink and snack after a hard shop!

One of the better cafe inside an ASDA that we have visited. good choice in clean settings with nice staff. served quickly and efficiently

Convenient after work and shopping. Clean tidy cafe with basic menu. Reasonably priced and good for families. Dad can feed the kids whilst I do the shop.

Food is cold cheap and very small portion s service is the worst staff argue in front of you it is clean and iv been about 8 times as I live across the road so convenient meals horrible breakfast probley ur best bet

It is what you would expect from a supermarket, its cheap, reasonable choice but not very comfortable, it is ok if you are on the go and want something quick.

cheap food at a cheeap price i suppose. little for non meat eaters to enjoy. would have liked soya milk in tea, not a lot to ask? seating for comforatble but ok after a big shop

The food was being served by a member of staff who appeared to be less than clean with food all down her front. I was told I would have to wait 30 min before the bacon would be cooked after they had served my partner with his food. I have never know bacon to take so long to cook and the bacon my partner had looked deep fried and was very hard and snapped in half. The member of staff taking money and orders was also serving food and I was concerned if she was able to wash her hands in between. What I witnessed made me glad that the bacon was not ready because I was put off eating any food. I have however visited the cafe when other members of staff have been excellant

Called for breakfast here one Saturday morning after staying in Premier Inn. It was not a good experience. The food was not very hot and not of a very good quality. The bacon was not rashers but little pieces. The scrambled egg was done in the microwave. The sausages were the cheapest they could get away with and the latte was disgusting. The cutlery was dirty and the whole place was tired and not that clean. Stay away.
