The “manager” seemed to just be bullying other staff members , been in a few times to see her also outside having a smoke when it’s clearly busy, she has no respect for her staff and should be brought up on her constant misconduct.

Unless you have a child it is very expensive and most of the meal deal items were unavailable . Need up just having chips and they were hard. Paid for a drink but the dispenser wasn’t working, no staff to fix it and to get a refund I had to queue at customer services for 10min! Rediculous.

This cafe is great for families, with an amazing deal of £1 for a child's meal. This saved my family alot of money. The food was good, and reasonably sized for just a £1 kids meal. There was good service, and was speedy preparing the food. However I was pretty disgusted when I saw a large spider climbing across the counter, right by the food.

We brought food from Asda and they were very abrupt and rude and told us we needed to buy food from the cafe, hecuase it's not apart of Asda, but we brought food, and they kept staring at us, with an evil eye

In the Asda store in Stevenage there is a cafe. If you are coming from the town centre it is closest to this entrance and you can see it as you go past. I had a bit of time to kill so decided to pay a visit. You queue up to place your order and then your food is brought to your table. I had a cup of tea and a packet of crisps. I was provided with a paper cup and a tea bag. No explanation was given about where to get the water and milk but I managed to find these myself. I could see that many other people were also given paper cups for their drinks and any food they ordered was provided on paper plates. Such a shame that they do not use china crockery as this immediately raises the standard of the food offered and makes it look more presentable. PLUS! Less wastage which is better for the environment. Food for thought? The cafe was clean and well presented.

Uncooked chicken made my husband ill. They could not care less and are uninterested and won't take responsibility. Avoid

Tables r not clean enough when ask lady server just now she said she had to serve others . Not acceptable been like this a few times now need other staff to clean tables constantly and if they see dirty dishes etc remove them straight away just gone down hill a bit might ot use this cafe for a while as a result dont want good posing or covid. Other places I go r much cleaner

This cafe is a poor reflection on Asda. Cold dry tired pizza, warm soft drinks and miserable unhelpful staff.

Average food, average service, cooking staff don't seem too bothered to help. Sauce bottles were all empty & staff couldn't care about providing new ones.

i go to the cafe once or twice a week when in the shop and have never had a problem with the food or staff who work hard so not sure if some of the feedback on this cafe is true. I love the pizza and ten out of ten for value.

Visited with my dad this morning. This cafè has the potential to be very good. Its in the corner of a very busy store. Sadly, the limited menu and staff let it down. A small breakfast menu is on offer until 12. But there are only 2 veggie options: a veggie breakfast and a Quorn Sausage bap. It would be really nice to see more options. Maybe a choice of eggs on toast or omlettes. The menu after 12 is pizzas, jacket potato, burger or a hot dog. Nothing inspiring or healthy. The staff seem to have no idea what is going on. We ordered 2 hot chocolates and were then sent to the self service machine. This would have been fine, but the machine didn't work. Eventually, someone said they would come and help us. When they finally came over, we were told the machine needed cleaning, that it takes at least 15 minutes and we should never have been sold the hot drinks in the first place! Come on Asda! Sort it out! Expand your menu: maybe take a look at Morrisons cafè. And give your staff a boot up the backside!

Long queue to get served, food took ages, no milkshakes, no jacket potatoes, no sides, no cold drinks, miserable staff. Wanted a nice healthy jacket with quorn chilli with a diet sprite, ended up with a fatty chicken burger, chips and a coffee. Yuk.

Only stop for a coffee with a friend, coffee was ok, service and staff were ok, but could be more friendly.

the staff were absolutely awful. they were very rude and the coffee was flavorless and bland. the tables and chairs were woefully dirty and no one was around to clean them up. would definitely not recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to sit down and have a drink

The coffee with little flavour was cheap, but the service is very poor. Hardly a word was spoken and not a word of apology for spilling my coffee on the tray. The tables were not cleared although the customers had left some time ago. Our table was sticky and there was dropped food on the floor.

I go in this store at Harlow at least once a week and it’s fine and reasonably laid out. I always go in the Cafe to have Coffee and Cake but sometimes the Ladies are too busy to even look at you never lone serve you, I do feel sorry as it seems there are only 2 Ladies and they have to do the cooking and the serving. I think there is a man behind the scenes doing the washing up. Asda shouldn’t put their staff in this position as sometimes they can be quite rude and I think it’s because they are put under pressure.

This is ASDA so don't expect too much. However, this cafe has the potential to do really well if the morning staff understood customer service. Apart from often opening late and simply ignoring the people waiting the rudeness is unbelievable.

Myself and my friend would like to thank Are a for hiring Penal. What a joy he is and very lovely down to earth member of staff. Made it a pleasure to go to his till.

Visit this place many times for simple tea,coffee,tea cake..perfect every time and only £4.50..They have pizzas ,jackets,sausage in roll or for amazing prices.

Kids love it the pizza when fresh cooked is probably one of the best pizzas i have had apart from that the food is very average and on a few ocassions chips have been very cold supose there iz a microwave there !! Also my wife can never eat as she has a serious gluten allergie and can not eat anything and just to point out we have been here many times now and it os Always really dirty

I was away on a course last week in Stevenage and after a vey long journey decided to go and get some breakfast in the asda Café in Stevenage. I saw people sitting in the café at about 07.50am so I found a table and sat down and started to decided what to have.

Its an ASDA cafe, we ordered a pizza for lunch. OMG it was huge and very very cheap.....it was also delicious, the kids loved it and they also packed up the remaining pizza so that we could take it home with us.

Tan decepcionante que han llevado el café y todo comida frita y pizza. La cafetería poco antes de la reforma tienda era encantadora y se podía conseguir un buen desayuno el domingo por la mañana. Nunca uso ahora asda colgar la cabeza de vergüenza y qué gran error se han hecho

Este concepto realmente no funciona. Patatas chaqueta ordenados x 2. Fue la 1pm pero todavía patatas todavía no preparado. chaqueta Así que pedimos, salchichas bap bap bacon entregado. Mala calidad de salchichas. Porción de pizza, pedimos muy seco y más preparado. Había estado bajo lámpara de calor durante mucho tiempo. Ensalada, Dios mío, ordenados lado era sólo un pequeño puñado de iceberg con 2 pepinos y el maíz que estaba cerca de green con moho. Las patatas fritas eran frías.

Fuimos allí por la tarde. Servicio muy rápido. Muy barato excelente relación calidad-precio. Incluso el café era de buen gusto y el lugar estaba limpio y ordenado.

El café ha sido renovado recientemente reformado con una cena express. Más de autoservicio de bebidas, y ahora hay una máquina de batido y son agradables (2 libras por batido de). La comida es un precio muy razonable y acertada. personal amable

Relación calidad-precio genial para un buen desayuno, y el almuerzo, y le limpio sirve. El café era muy bueno y caro.

El café en el supermercado Asda nunca iba a conseguir una estrella Michelin, pero al menos en un tiempo podría conseguir comida sana a un precio razonable. Un buen desayuno y adecuado el almuerzo. Sin embargo, en su sabiduría infinita han convertido el lugar como una especie de diner americano pseudo y es un auténtico desastre. La selección del menú le falta variedad y es básico para decir lo menos, con el tema principal tanto pizza o pollo de algún tipo u otro. El día que fuimos estaban incluso gestionar para quemar un lote de patatas al horno! La presentación deja mucho que desear, y si yo realmente quería beber de vasos de papel y comer fuera de platos de papel con cuchillos de plástico y tenedores iría a una fiesta de niños. Cómo Asda han logrado hacerse aún peor que el promedio de la comida rápida lugar high Street es más allá de mí, pero que tienen. Yo sha no volveremos, y tampoco lo hará ninguno de mis amigos. No se recomienda en absoluto.

Personal... siempre estaba lleno con las mesas están los últimos clientes platos.. La sección de bebé se puede calentar la comida de su bebé no ha estado disponible durante más de un año y cuando pregunté si pueden hacer en la cocina me dijo que no y tuvo que discutir por un plato fuera de agua caliente. Cuando pedimos ver gerente nadie estaba por ahí y me dijeron que el correo electrónico que él o ella sabe.

visit here quite often for a coffee and a light bite to eat. The service is slow but friendly.The seating area is not always clean but the staff are more than willing to clear and clean your table when asked to do so.

I have visited twice in the last month and a half. The food was OK and reasonable prices. Good variety. Both times the staff have been terrible. The first time I witnessed a member of staff being rude to a fellow member of staff over how to make a caramel coffee. She was then extremely rude to the customer in front of me and then continued to discuss the lady in front of the rest of the queue. I thought I would visit again thinking this was a one off . I was wrong. The second time I asked for a breakfast 15 minutes before they advertised the end, I was told no I was too late breakfast finished half a hour again. I pointed out the sign saying it you are advertising the wrong finish time. She was then quite rude and said "anyway we have run out of everything". I then ordered something else as the person I was with was short on time. Otherwise I would of just left and gone somewhere else. Because of this it would not be my first choice to go there again, i will only return if it was the most convenient. Money wise you get what you pay for, which wasn't too bad.

Ate a plate of macaroni cheese here, which was quite cheap, but was really overcooked, and crunchy and cold in the middle, asked them to reheat it, but they refused to do so even though it was not busy

We ordered fish and chips as well as 2 other meals. I had to go up and ask where the fish and chips was I was told that I did not know you wanted fish and chips , when the meal was ready someone brought it out gave the meal to someone else it was only that the lady said it was not mine. My husband went up and said the meal is for my son she would not hand over the meal as she said it was a women who ordered it I went up to her and said it was for me and took the meal off her. service very poor will not be going back there to eat.
