This was a brilliant find. Friendly staff and delicious food We had the jamon beurre and cheese and chutney baguette. Heaven. Then a cheeky cake. Both delicious. Coffee tasted good and the price was also good. Will go bank for sure

Delicious food! Had the ‘pain au saucisson’ (excuse the spelling), which is a mix between a crossaint and sausage roll. Really enjoyable. The patisseries are beautiful and delicious. I’m pregnant and the staff were great at helping me work out what to eat (raw eggs are used but safe to eat according to NHS as they use red lion eggs here). Friendly staff. Nice vibe. Definitely recommend.

I believe everything is made on the premises. I had the best ever almond croissant.. Hot chocolate was excellent too.. The owner was very sociable.

The last time I called in here was for a take-away coffee and I promised myself that I would be back. This time my wife and I called in and we were not disappointed. The freshly made coffee was served by very friendly staff and it was delicious. The cakes were so inviting and looked equally delicious but, unfortunately, we did not yield to temptation (but who knows, next time?). it certainly is an establishment well worth dropping into.

Coffee, treats and bread are all superb all baked on the premises daily even better now having China mugs and plates with more seating too with the option to sit out side when it starts to warm up.

We're new to the area and are slowly working our way through the cafes to see which is our favourite. We really liked this place and had a very good experience overall - good service, great coffee, nice atmosphere, delicious treats. Can't ask for more than that, really. The cakes looked divine, but alas, they all contained chocolate and, as good as they looked, I'm not sure it would be worth a migraine...maybe. Rose and raspberry? My fomo was off the scale. If the cakes are as good as the coffee and pastries, it might be worth the suffering... I'm not marking them down for having paper cups instead of china, because I totally get it, but it does diminish the experience a little.

Lured by signs outside and the view of the premises from Tenterden High Street, I popped in for a take-away coffee before catching a bus. I couldn't have been made more welcome. My coffee was freshly prepared and, for the first time ever, I was asked if I wanted hot or cold milk and was I given enough! The cakes on display looked delicious. I was sorely tempted but not this time. However, I will be back.

Pastries delicious and full of goodness!!! Could not be bettered anywhere in France, or UK. Un assuming from outside but genuine and atmospheric inside.

We hadn’t visited Artisserie Patisserie before, but I thought it was promising as I checked out its big window looking out onto Tenterden’s busy, pretty High Street. But I couldn’t have known that through an open door from the shop and cafe is its own bakery where every treat available there is baked! We had a vanilla and hazelnut Danish and an almond croissant filled with almond cream, with delicious hot chocolate and peppermint tea. I noticed customers coming in to order special cakes, and a notice saying you can order your Christmas cakes and puddings. On the savoury side there’s crusty baguettes and you can buy them filled with butter and ham, or should I say, jambon beurre! We will certainly be back.

Really loved the food, the pastries are so good and tasty, and really loved the coffee but thought the whole experience was spoiled by disposable cups, wooden cutlery ( that doesn’t cut) and a paper bag instead of a plate. I get that it is all plant based and recyclable but I’m not sure you are helping the planet any more than going across the road to the antique shop that sells all the pretty ( 2nd hand and thus uses no resources ) crockery and cutlery and sticking it all in a dishwasher. There are quite a few production costs and energy used in making all that plant based disposable stuff and I suspect the cost to the business is equal to or more than washing up

Absolutely loved this cafe. Almond croissant was amazing and absolutely delicious. Husband had the fig pastry and it too was fabulous. Coffee was brilliant too.

Absolutely unreal! The love that must have gone into sculpting those cakes must be huge! I expect to find desserts like that served in 5 star hotels not along a local high street!

Bought a surprise bag costing £4. Received 4 pieces of pastry. Quite disappointing to be honest. Too good to go is a good app but sometimes the prices are way too high. I did read afterwards about the Michelin stars but...over rated perhaps in this case.

Superb quality coffee and pastries plus we take away with us artisanal bread and work of art cakes whenever we visit. We don’t go anywhere else in Tenterden now. Hope this fledgling business gets the support it deserves. Tenterden is very lucky to have this top rate pastry chef on hand.

My husband and I popped in here for coffee and cake. There was quite a variety of cakes to choose from and they appeared to be made on the premises. The cakes were both very nice and tasty, the drawback for us were no plates just a folded serviette plus the knives and forks were thin wooden ones and it was impossible to cut through the pastry base on my cake hence a multitude of crumbs everywhere. The cups were also cardboard which we both dislike. We wouldn’t return.

Relatively nascent local business with unique vibes, nice engaging staff, very good coffee and wonderful food. Enjoy a coffee and patisserie then take something home 🙂

We popped in for a coffee and ended up with two wonderful pastries to go with them, sat on the famous stools to savour the moment. An almon croissant the likes of which I have never experienced in England! The filling oozed out and was delicious! Coffee good too and the people that run it were very welcoming. Not here often but would definitely use it again.

We bought some Walnut & Rosemary bread from here, it was delicious. Lots of walnuts and the taste and smell of rosemary was lovely. We ate the bread the day after purchase so put it in the oven to warm through. Had it with some cheese, lovely combination. The loaf was £3.95 but worth every penny, for the generous ingredients and lovely taste. A nice treat. The cakes looked beautiful, like a work of art and the lady that served us was very helpful. The only thing I would say is that its a shame there r not some small tables and chairs inside. I do understand it is quite small but there is a small bar with stalls. There is also seating outside. Would definitely return when next in the area, maybe for a coffee and cake next time.

Situated towards one end of the high street. A nice patisserie made with imported French flour to create freshly baked products. A deli / patisserie environment with items such as coffee, cake and typical foods (filled rolls) in this area, including pana chocolate and various style breads for sale. We purchased some breads, which we enjoyed at home. It's not the cheapest of products, but worth it for the taste. The sales person seemed to have much knowledge on the produce she was selling and as a result of her explanation on some products, we bought more than we thought we would and were delighted when we tasted and ate it at home.

One of the very best Sunday lunches I have experienced. Served piping hot and with a smile from our server. Beef was generous and left pink in the middle, great Yorkshires crisp on the out side but soft and tasty in the middle. Fantastic choice of vegetables roasted parsnips, red cabbage, cauliflower in white sauce and a side bowl of cabbage, broccoli and green beans. Roast potatoes were perfect for us crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. Thick, tasty gravy and lots of it. Just a great and memorable lunch. Good selection of wine by the glass and beers. Staff are all smiles, efficient and charming. Instead of the beef my wife tried the vegetarian option and declared great alternative!

We had a very good meal at The George at Molash; we were welcomed on arrival and shown to our table, the service was very efficient and the waitresses were professional but also friendly. They looked after us superbly. We chose our meals and these took a little time to come out but we were not worried about this as we were chatting and food was cooked freshly to order. Other tables were informed about a wait for some foods as they were cooked freshly to order. This didn’t affect us too much as we ate quite early - table was booked for 6.30pm. The pub was very clean and tidy. The portions were good - for both dinner and we had a dessert. We finished the evening with herbal teas and were shown a selection to choose from. Overall we had a very nice evening at The George, and had good food, service and atmosphere.

After a long period of absence we went for drinks here on Christmas Eve. Not a single pump was working and a small bottle of Peroni and an equally small (and disgusting) bottle of Prosecco was charged at £10! The manager was overheard telling another punter that they were “running down the stock” which translates to “we’re going to be closing soon”. Such a shame - this used to be an amazing pub years ago. Mis-management has led to the state it is now in. Bring back the former owners.
