This charming cafe is well worth a visit. The service I received today was second to none; I felt really valued and looked after, and the food is excellent. Wonderful combination in the tortilla wrap with sun-dried tomato, cream cheese and avocado. It tasted sensational and you could tell that the ingredients used were extremely fresh. A really nice little place and a credit to Cranbrook. 😀

Whenever I’m in Cranbrook I have to grab a coffee from here. Their flat whites are one of the best I’ve had. They’re doggo friendly too.

Called in for a coffee. Very friendly, helpful staff and the freshly made was very good. Wheelchair, pushchair and dog friendly with a good choice of snacks on the menu.

Amazing cafe. The food is amazing but my favourite part of it is the milkshakes. They have haricot milkshakes and even Oreo milkshakes. Best cafe ever

I ordered a latte and it was cold. Not happy! Staff did not even acknowledge the fact i was disappointed with my drink and was left with a cold latte for the rest of my visit. I then ordered a brownie which was SO DRY. Very upset with the poor food and rudeness and ignorance from ALL staff i spoke too. Will not be returning.

Very friendly staff and very good service. One of the few places where my wife, who is Gluten Free, can get a delicious cake. The coffee was equally tasty. It is also dog friendly which is an added bonus. Can certainly recommend.

We popped in after it was recommended to us as being dog friendly. Not a massive menu but enough there to keep most people happy. Coffee and bagel’s were nice but there was a shortage of white bread so my sandwich came out as a white/brown mix. I was quite happy with this and it was very filling. As it was half term it was quite busy and it is obviously very popular with locals. The staff were all polite and friendly. Definitely worth a visit if you want a coffee out with your dog

Great independent coffee shop and cafe. Stopped by late morning on Saturday, had a really nice vibe with people popping in, super dog friendly, charming staff, super coffee and unusual but delicious, breakfast bagels. Tempted to move to Cranbrook to have a place like this to call into more often. Waist and wallet permitting.

I'm always on the hunt for a quality independent coffee shop, and Arthur's is just that. Lovely strong coffee, friendly staff, and there is a really nice feel to the place. First trip here but would love to come back.

I took my two children and dog to Arthur’s for breakfast, it was lovely. My son had beans on toast and a very nice Oreo milkshake! I think I will have the Biscoff one next time. My fussy little one had a pastry and apple juice, my coffee was lovely and I chose smoked salmon and scrambled egg on toast.. all delicious. Best of all was I could bring our dog too! Friendly and quick service and just a relaxed, inviting ambience. Will definitely return when we are next in Cranbrook.

I stopped briefly at Arthur’s while passing through Cranbrook. Having never been to either, I’d have to say that both Cranbrook and Arthur’s Coffee House are a gem. The decor is cosy and comfortable, the staff very friendly and welcoming, the service prompt and the coffee delicious. From watching around me while sitting there for a while, it seems they’re very dog-friendly too. I’d definitely recommend Arthur’s Coffee House.

Sadly we didn't get to meet Arthur himself, but the human staff were exceptionally friendly, professionally, prompt and welcoming. The food was delicious with a good range of choice on the menu, the coffee was good quality, and the milkshake was delicious! It was reasonably priced, there was a little play corner for kids and it was family friendly, but if like us you're child-free it wasn't overwhelmingly noisey - there wasn't a huge amount of space for buggies if that is a worry to you. Our dog got a fuss and a biscuit, we always appreciate a dog friendly venue. Would definitely recommend!

Lots of cafes are named after their proprietor as in Jack's Cafe, Casey's Diner or Bill's Greasy Spoon and at Arthur's in Cranbrook one might think this is no exception except that this proprietor has his bed in the cafe itself along with a wall of photos of all his friends. Arthur wasn't there the day I went (his bed was empty) but a lot of his friends were. In fact if you enter Arthur's without a dog in tow you are going to feel very conspicuous. Yes, Arthur is a dog and this is not just a dog-friendly cafe it is a dog-worshipping cafe. There are dogs everywhere; under tables, in the fireplace and hiding under chairs. It is so dog orientated I was surprised that there were not dogs sitting at the tables wearing napkins eating Winalot and I was going to have to eat my toasted bagel from a bowl on the floor. Dogs here are fussed over, given tidbits, kissed, fondled and generally given more attention by the staff and customers than the customers. Every time the waitress wasn't carrying food she was on her knees fluffing the ears and kissing the nose of one of the customers (dog not human). I am not sure how bothered they were over whether I enjoyed my espresso and bacon bagel but yes I did.

Great food as always and the staff, went above and beyond sorting lunch out due to a limited menu whilst they have some work done on the building. They made some really tasty tacos with rice and vegan chilli. Super tasty and filling... But I did find room for some vegan coffee cake 😁 Yes a little banging from the building work, but not that distracting, I still managed to get some writing done whilst eating.

Excellent coffee although quite expensive. It's £4 for an oat milk latte. It's also quite crowded and hot inside.
