Great food and choice great size portions friendly staff

They spent time making sure the food I ordered was as specified. I have a couple of food intolerances but with their attention I can eat this food with my family.

Why so expensive?!!! A shawarma is meant to be an inexpensive tasty meal not haute cuisine. If it was cheaper, I'd frequent this place every week like I used to my in the past. Not sure how it is a going concern, it always looks empty when I pass by.

This is probably one of the best places for a takeaway Shawarma or Shish in the area. It always seems to hit the spot.

The food was nice but the price brought the overall rating down. I know everyone's increasing their prices but even so how can you justify spending £55, between 2, on a kebab? There are other places that have similar food quality but don't charge as much.

The food is 5 stars, especially the shish kebab.

Simply amazing!!!!! food is out of this world! I always recommend this place to ANYONE who visits New Malden or Kingston!

Best Turkish meal! The salad with mint and pomegranate is a far cry from the usual lettuce and cucumber. The shawarma wrap was delish as was the bread and dips. Definitely recommend the chicken wings - super flavourful. And the desserts are yum! Especially the Kunefe. I’d never tried it before but will definitely be back for more. It’s an hour from us, but well worth the journey!

We had the best meal at Aroma. Their Shawarma's are the best I've had in this country and the lamb chops were more like steaks with a bone in it. They also do a desert called Kunefe, which is like sweet vermicelli with mozzarella in the middle, sounds strange but it was DELICIOUS!! Great service and good atmosphere. Highly recommended!!

One of the best sit down kebab experiences I have had in London. Really happy with the the mixed iskender. These are better than the ones I had in Istanbul.

We having been coming to Aroma for years and visited again this evening. The schwarma and shish are cooked to perfection and the staff are always helpful and friendly.

Ordered at the weekend and staggered how much the prices have gone up by. Be aware, the prices on the website do not match the prices in store, so cost me an extra £10-15 for my order (to feed four)

This is special, unique-authentic taste. Bread was also delicious and clever with the tarragon on top. Highly recommend to sit in here. Well done guys !

The dine in area is near the back. There was only 1 member of staff and they charge service charge (criminal in my opinion). The food it self was nothing special. It was served in very tightly packed plates. When you try to scoop it will just fall off. They even give you small plates which isn’t very ideal either. Service was very slow as excited due to only 1 member of staff. The food arrived before the drinks.

very bad attitude very bad service these people need to fix their attitude i visited the restaurant for the first time and will never go back there again. The guy who was serving me was sooo rude he didn’t want to answer me for anything i was asking i didn’t get the right food bec he didn’t want to listen i felt soo insulted.when we are paying for the food they have no right to treat their customer like that. i will recommend no to visit their restaurants

I just call to aroma few minutes ago ordere some chicken wings but the guy he attended my call and he don’t know how to speak to customer is very rudely speaking to the customer

The portions are quarter the size of what they used to be. chicken tikka Shish is small (four small cubes) and overpriced. Kids meal

I got the large lamb shawarma wrap with chips and can of coke as a takeaway. The wrap was massive, definitely would have been enough if I got a small one. The price completely shocked me but thought it's fine because it must taste amazing then - Oh was I wrong! Although the meat was well seasoned, there were so many chunks of chewy meat that I had to spit out, it was disgusting and quite outrageous for the price. I paid £18.90!! Also not one smile from any of the staff, quite the opposite actually. Safe to say I won't return

I've been going to Aroma for over 15 years. From when I was a teenager. I remember when I used to go there and you'd get greeted but the lovely owner with a big smile. He was running the place to perfection. I went there yesterday and I was greeted with rude attitude. I spoke to my two different people who I know who have also had exactly the same experience unfortunately. I ordered a small shawarma and a small chicken shish wrap, coke can & yogurt drink and it cost me £27. The prices have gone up ridiculously. The food is still good quality but it's just a shame about the attitude of the team that works in the front of the store and the expensive prices. Will definitely not going back for a sandwich.

On the decline now, used to be big portion size for decent price but now large chicken shawarma is 13.50 collection and 5.00 large fries all together 18.50 for one person. Ridiculous prices for what is an average portion size

Great freshly cooked food, friendly staff. The restaurant seating area closes at 9pm so we had to sit outside but we both agreed the food was worth it and we will definitely be going back 👍

have been buying shwarma from them but now it seem they really dont want the old customers the shuwarma prices gone from6.95 to 11.50 now also they rude and they dont take card also tye quantity gone very down i think its bettre to say them good by now not happy with my latest order too

The best kebab in New Malden, been going here for years. It’s really nice to eat in but the takeaway is also brilliant! Have never had a restaurant get the special instructions so accurate. Thank you for the free Baklava!! Will definitely be returning!

Love their shawermas as they are so juicy and tender. They work well with a combo of fries and a fizzy drink. If you are in the mood for something different, give their shish a try. Love going to this place because they serve excellent quality food.

Went there yesterday with the missus after watching videos of awesome food on Tik Tok. Sat in to eat. The food we ordered was a mixed sharwarma with rice, large chicken shish with rice, tatziki, hummus, bread, chips and 4 cokes. The bill came to £56, the seating area is nice. Portion sizes were good, the bread & rice was the best we've had (missus agrees) the meat was good. 4 stars instead of 5 for the following reasons: Did not get my 10% tik tok discount Salt shaker could have done with bit of a wipe Minor issues, but overall I will definitely visit again.

Dined in today with family - Found plastic in kids ice cream - they could have chocked on the plastic - the server was busy on his phone most of the time and cared less about us. Handed over the piece of plastic to the person at till and he apologised .. the service and quality of food has dropped considerably ..

If I could give O I would. Food left for an hour before delivered. cold meat. cold halloumi. melted ice cream. no shame. number doesnt work. I will never ever order again and I was occasional customer for the last year.

Customer service needs to be drastically improved. Staff are very easily perturbed, and display subtle acts of passive aggressiveness. Secondly, they need to update themselves into the current century. Card payments are a widely accepted source of payment, however this isn’t the case in this restaurant. Rather than being apologetic for being outdated, they blame the customer for not knowing. Charging premium prices with a lack of a simple convenience? Seems rather silly.

We’ve ordered from them before and usually no issues (therefore 2 stars) but tonight they forgot one of the two mains and the one that got delivered is burnt. Very disappointed to be spending money on this

Delicious Turkish halal and alcohol free restaurant in New Malden. Good grill and salad selection. Fresh bread, very buttery.Nice seating and really friendly staff. They accommodated us as we were able to swap an item on the set platter with another we liked. Will definitely return

I’ve been wanting to come here for a while as everytime I walked past, the food inside smells so good. I got the large sharmwa wrap and it was huge! Could of totally just ordered the small one. Pretty decent price for £10, was really full afterwards. It tasted really nice as well. The only downside is it’s cash only which is one reason I’ve not come sooner as I don’t always have cash on me. They’ve also got a restaurant at the back and you can find them on deliveroo.

Half pounder with cheese was juicy and full of flavour but the star of the day was most definite the kofta kebab! The wrap cooked to perfection the salad had a decent fresh crunch the sauce complimenting it nicely! Staff really friendly polite and helpful. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again to try other things on the menu.

I love to go here their chips and shawarma were so good but it’s was a really asame that they didn’t have any shawarma because I came at 8pm witch was are fault but the best thing is the chips with spicy sauce and garlic sauce so go here,

Best Shwarma in SW London, easily.

Yummy Turkish restaurant went here yummy wraps but when i went 5 weeks ago there didn’t have wraps because I came at 8 yummy chips

I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Because they don’t trust the customers. I went to buy two shawarmas to takeaway with my friend, they said no card payment so I asked my friend to get the cash out from the nearest cash machine and he left the shop to get the cash. But they don’t want to make my order till they get the money, it was really upsetting I said to the cashier can you please start making the order my friend will be coming with the money. He is not ready for that he says the amount and ask for cash. Then my friend arrived with the money within like 7-8 mins after that he to the chef to make the shawarma wrap. I asked him why don’t you believe us, I said I’ll pay by card you don’t accept that. Now you delayed our food why are you behaving like this. He says shawarma will get ready in 30sec that’s why if not it will get cold you won’t be able to eat I asked ok can you make now in within 30sec I’ll pay you. Then he says it meat needs to cook a little long like 10mins and was giving silly excuses for not making the shawarma wrap. As a takeaway you guys don’t have card payment and you guys don’t trust the customers. We trust you with food you give to us. This kind Service is not acceptable at all. It was just waste of my time when I was hungry. Me and my friend had to leave the shop saying then we won’t come back here again. We found another kebab shop nearby call The German Doner nearby like 5 mins away which is located in New Malden High street. Very great food and price also very reasonable and customer service was excellent.

STAY AWAY IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR TURKISH. It’s a joke to call this place Turkish. Food tasted Indian. All food was burnt and honestly dreadful. The meat was more fat than meat.If I could I’d rate it 0 star.

We occasionally come to this restaurant, last time we went was 2 weeks ago and unfortunately the quality of food had gone down , we ordered 3 chicken and lamb shawarmas and was given 1 box of salad , also the chicken and lamb was under seasoned and tasteless , this place was very good in the past

It’s absolutely disgraceful to see that in times of a pandemic, this place has the audacity to be cash only and refuse to accept card. It’s obvious they don’t want to pay much taxes and intend on under declaring their profits just to save more money which becomes possible seeing as their a cash only business. In these times, everyone has to do their part so it’s just sick to me to see that these people indent on cheating out tax payers while happily accepting the governments business loan funded by those same tax payers. This makes me, and looking at the other comments here, other people very curious to see what they actually pay in VAT.

Haven’t been here for several years, thought I would try it out being in the area.. unfortunately it wasn’t the same Aroma I use to no. Food isn’t horrible but it wasn’t the same as it was before… the wraps use to be HUGE, they've got smaller which isn’t a bad thing considering how overly big they once was… but the wrap was over loaded with salad and very little meat which was the disappointing part. Probably won’t return but like I said food it’s bad, it’s just not as good as it once was.

We went this restaurant after my friend recommended me to visit as he knows i love good kebab, and i was not disappointed. There is a takeaway area at the front and a seating area out the back and the food was smashing, all served fresh and hot and there was 8 adults and a 3 year old and they even cooked chicken fresh for our little Fin . Cant shout loud enough "give this restaurant a chance and you will love it.

This place use to be very good… what a shame… they always miss up orders… I use to love their chicken wings and now it is hit and miss… also to eat in you pay like £3 more lol 😂 they make it out to be so important as if anyone really cares about 2/3 more but more about your service… if anything makes them look cheap!

For a Mother’s Day treat the family ordered kebab from aroma. Got to say it’s the worst kebab we have ever had. it was a soggy mess which was inedible. Never again waste of money ended up in the bin

From the outside looking in it looks like your average kebab shop. However, at the back if the kebab shop is the restaurant. This was my first ever time eating here and I can honestly say I will 100% be back! I was very impressed. Food was fantastic - if your a big eater make sure you come here. With their portions you will definitely not starve! Visually the restaurant is pleasing to the eye. Their bathrooms are impeccably clean and a bonus they smell nice. Service was amazing, we had a really attentive older lady who waited on us and she just gave off that mum vibe. I'll even come back just for a chat with her haha she was really lovely! I only have 1 negative but its not an actual negative. Don't sit near the back kitchen because it's cold, if your like me and ALWAYS cold sit in the middle of the restaurant. 1 will give this place a 9/10 definitely one of Kingstons hidden gems!

Been using Aroma for almost 18 years and Always the same quality and freshness they are a family business staff are really nice too always Frendly and afficient they have refurbished not Long ago and have a lovely restaurant that we Use for our special occasions or just a casual Weekend out with the family but we don’t miss Our weekly take away and I have a few cheeky lunch’s during the week as it’s so healthy as Everything is cooked on the charcoal What is my favourite I love everything the shawarma and chicken & lamb shish is amazing Omg the chicken wings so good too and I love there 100% breast chicken burgers grilled on the charcoal they also have many many more dishes From borek to meze and lovely Turkish desserts. There prices are good too as the quality they use are Top….. Well done Aroma team see you next week and thanks again for our large order tonight our guests really loved the food and next time they are down we will be eating in and having quite a few large platters🔥🔥🔥👍

Massive portions did lots to accommodate food was nice not the best I've ever had but you will not leave hungry and the waitress was a star.

£9.50 for a large shawarma, ridiculous. Owner refused to seat us, claiming it was fully booked when it was not. Owner is arrogant, treats his own staff with upmost disrespect and is very sarcastic/rude. Never again.
