Arnold's fisheries in East Riding of Yorkshire

We bought an 800g monkfish fillet and crab sandwiches during the Bank Holiday. Although the place is unassuming the fish was of very high quality and freshness and the sandwiches were good too, albeit with a few crunchy bits of shell!

Absolutely the worst oysters I have ever had no moisture inside and a blob for an oyster,mock lobster tail dry and tough to eat. The crab was brilliant but will not be back

The fresh crab is brilliant. Bought oysters there was no moisture inside them very dry I was scared to eat them. Ready to eat mussels not cleaned Imitation lobster tails dry hard and not pleasant fish in window looked dry threw away more than we could eat a waste of money never again

Just spent a couple of days in Bridlington and am so happy to find this shop, fresh seafood as it should be. Came home with a bagful of delights fresh mussels, a couple of dressed crabs and delicious crab sandwiches, can't wait to go back. Thank you to the staff young pleasant and helpful.

Bad mussels two weeks running. Week before bought Saturday lunch time Went home (20 mins drive) put in fridge. Sunday lunchtime took out of fridge to cook as starter. They were off. Didn’t complain as We’ve had some great produce over the years, Last Saturday (2nd July) spent another £50 including another £12.00 on mussels. I mentioned to the staff what had happened week before. To be met by a blank look & a shrug of the shoulders. Totally ignorant staff. AGAIN Sunday lunchtime they were off. We love our seafood & Shell fish & often spend £80-100 in this shop. That’s £36.00 in the dustbin in 2 weeks. Staff need training on how to look after Shell fish. Better still change the staff. Get someone who knows how to treat customers. Attitude just rubbed salt in the wound.

I have purchased shellfish etc from Arnold's for as long as I can remember today we bought a lobster platter & half a lobster as well also a prawn ring with sweet chilli dip a pair of kippers 2 lobster tails and a large tub of prawns the lobsters were watery and no taste the prawns were the same the mussels were over cooked if it had not been for the chilli dip the prawn ring just tasted bland i don't know what happened but that experiance is not what we expected very dissapointed regular custermor

I love this shop, the staff are young and vibrant.lovely crab and brown shrimps delicious. Service very good, although not a large shop perfectly presented

I always buy my dressed crabs from here. You know they are fresh and they are also cheaper than the local supermarket.

Always get a crab to take home and some baked herrings, best shellfish in Brid, can’t resist some whelks and mussels every time we visit

This place is wonderful. It’s a pleasure to look at from the street. All the fresh seafood and fish sat packed in ice. Please please please don’t miss the opportunity to taste some wonderful dressed crab from this traditional fish shop.

We had been looking in this shop window for 2 days before going home to Surrey. On the day of travel we pack the ice box with a bag of ice from Tesco's. We purchased a larger dressed crab, small prawns & a tin of Clam Chowder. The crab & prawns we ate at home over 2 days & were excellent. The Chowder we had the next day & that too was excellent. We have decided when we come back to stay locally we will do the same again. Very good value for money. I spent under £10.00 for these items.

Had to stop off here as the photos on TripAdvisor looked so tempting. Lots of choice and well presented. Opted for the whelks which tasted wonderful, ate there on the spot. Spotlessly clean and helpful staff who recommended a good restaurant.

Good prices and frendlly staff, would recommed you get your fesh crabs and otherfish from here. Open on a Sunday.

Small stall but all seafood look fresh! I had oysters. Yummy! They sell medium sized oysters. They are more nourishing than big ones! Creamy!

A great array of seafood fresh fish. All set out really nicely, many ready to eat. I bought quite a bit of fish and he was happy to keep it in the fridge and I collected later in the day. Would highly recommend, great quality and price.

We picked up a dressed crab and some lobster meat to take back to our camping pedals and enjoyed it with some fresh bread and white wine is was delicious, highly recommend.

Mi esposa y yo llamamos el sábado por la mañana para dos cangrejos que estaban frescos toda razonable de £11. También me compré un par de pinzas de cangrejo que estaban en una bandeja de hielo machacado. Debería haber sido sospechosa en este punto, pero me llevé a casa y las dejamos en la nevera.

You must try the seafood cocktail it's as fresh as the sea itself,as soon as I get into Bridlington it's the first place I head for.

I told my friend about Arnolds and took him to enjoy a Crab sandwich... I love their Prawn sandwiches and took one of these /9and it was excellent!) but his crab sandwich (although good) had quite a bit of shell on it :(

I live in Brid and love fresh seafood, i can honestly say i cant drive past without popping in for a fresh dressed crab (£3-4) or a small seafood platter (£2.50) the half dressed lobster is good value at £3.50 although the king crab very expensive everyrhing else is fresh, tasty and great value.

Great display ,good quality seafood, clean and great products. Prices clearly displayed. Attractive premises

Tried this place first a couple of years ago... and it was excellent for lush Crab/Prawn sandwiches... they also sell fresh fish... still with the tang of sea air on it :) Highly recommended when you look at Subway charging £3 for a basic sandwich and cafes around them charging MUCH more!
