Wonderful freshly cooked food and served with a smile. Very accommodating for my vegan friend and spotlessly clean. Food is delicious and full of flavour and worth a little wait whilst they cook it. The Venezuelan shandy was super refreshing as were the juices.

Firstly this place has a fantastic street presence. It is clean, bright, enticing from the outside. The welcome - well just that - welcoming! As it should be - smiling, informative, helpful. The food does not disappoint, absolutely delicious, we shared arepas, empanadas, tequenos, haloumi fries, latino fries, cheesecake and coconut ice-cream. Every bight a delight. We were warmly dispatched, extremely content, by the hostess.

A great spot with a welcoming host serving fresh and delicious food. Great for coeliacs as most dishes gluten free. Reasonably priced as well. Worth making the effort to find, and prob only 10 mins from Southsea common (approx)

Took a fair old detour for my first ever arepa, and it was well worth the extra miles. Really delicious, crunchy, fresh. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff, nice place.

Amazing. Simply amazing. Fantastic food, staff, environment and beer. The Polar is Joe of the best around. Especially on a hot day. Food is one of the best in Portsmouth. So many independent places trying and falling short. This place hits all the right marks.

Fantastic food and friendly service. Food here is great quality and freshly prepared. My partner is gluten free and this is perfect and almost everything is gf. Great options for vegan, vegetarian and meat eaters. Will be back here soon.

Just honestly incredible! We visited with friends at their recommendation and were very VERY impressed. I had the beef Arepa and my wife the chicken with avocado. Both were cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Couldn’t fault anything as the taste and presentation were faultless. Service was also a real highlight, with all the staff being friendly and smilie. All in all, a fantastic time, and highly deserving of one of my few 5* reviews.

Visited on Sunday afternoon with few friends and family, the place looked clean and pleasant with lovely south American music. Meriana the host put us straight away at ease with her lovely smile.. we have ordered arepas and juices and it was all incredibly tasty. There is just a really good vibe inside this place, a blend of Latin music with family passion and amazing food. Will soon be returning!

I ate an arepa and empanada these were very tasty. Good side dishes and all very freshly prepared. The place is also very good and also offers other diverse food.

We’ve visited lots of times at Outside In food court and always order at least one or two bits from Arepa, I love it all and especially the delicious green dip!

This is truly a hidden gem of an amazing eating experience. Flavors are amazing and the freshness of produce is great. It’s a pity that this company is not getting the visitors it needs in the out in eating space in Portsmouth. Go and try it you will not be disappointed.

Picked because of the other reviews we sought the place out. One of several stores in an indie food mall the setting is casual young and simple. Food was ordered by app from the seat. App a bit of a faff to start but once loaded easy to do. Drinks from same app but different stall. So food ... YUM two of us had a beef and stuff arepa one had seafood empinada. All the sauces were delicious meat cooked so it was tender. Seafood was delicious. Worst thing... a bit messy to eat. Best thing happy tummy!

I popped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon, as was very pleasantly surprised by how delicious my arepa was. A fluffy yet crispy corn flatbread filled with the complex flavours of slow-cooked beef, savory black beans, sweet plantations, salty cheese and a fantastically fresh avocado corriander dressing. Mine had beef (the Caracas), but there were plenty of great looking vegan choices on the menu. The lads doing the cooking were very friendly and helpful, and for £8.50 this sandwich filled me up all day long. I can't recommend Arepas 2Go highly enough! Do yourself a favour, drop everything and go there now!

¡Este lugar es absolutamente imprescindible para probar en Southsea! La comida es muy sabrosa, puedes sentir todos los sabores de todos los ingredientes en el primer bocado. Las raciones son bastante generosas y el personal es muy amable y sirven bastante rápido. Los tenemos para llevar y para comer y en ambas ocasiones la comida fue excelente.Nuestras arepas favoritas son las de Ávila y Caracas, también tienen opciones veganas y sin gluten.Si estás buscando un lugar para probar pura comida venezolana, ve y prueba la arepa 2 go.

Me encantó la comida, ¡tienen tantas opciones diferentes para todos, incluido el menú para niños! Me encantaron las papas fritas teque os y halloumi. Probamos un par de arepas y debo decir que todas están riquísimas, pero mis favoritas fueron la pelua y las caracas. El personal era encantador, amable y servicial. Definitivamente lo recomendaría a cualquiera, desde grupos familiares hasta una noche informal. ¡No puedo esperar a volver!

Incredibly tasty, delicious and filling food, complemented by friendly and warm staff :) My favourite was the Avila Arepa and their haloumi fries with garlic sauce is something that one should definitely try! 5 stars!

Hemos probado Arepa 2 GO en algunas ocasiones, tanto frescas como a domicilio, y la calidad de la comida siempre ha sido absolutamente increíble. Me encanta el hecho de que las arepas no contienen gluten y los acompañamientos son tan deliciosos: las papas fritas teque os y halloumi eran algunas de nuestras favoritas. Si vive o visita Portsmouth y Southsea, definitivamente debería probarlos, ¡mi nuevo lugar favorito para comer!

Myself and some friends were out recently and headed to the outside in food court, which by the way has a great atmosphere, and we decided to try arepa2go, which is Venezuelan and not what we would normally go for, but it was a great choice, the food was delicious and the staff were excellent, would def go back.....

El lugar es espectacular, lugar familiar, las arepas, tostones, yuca, etc. lo maximo, muy buena calidad de comida típica venezolana. Recomiendo que visiten el lugar, les aseguro que les va a gustar .

I visited Arepa2Go as part of the Southsea food festival (2 weeks ago) and I’ve not stopped thinking about the food. I’ve dreamt about the black bean and plantain arepa. The sweetcorn sauce is incredible, and shouldn’t be missed. I can’t wait to have another.
