I stopped by this place on a package tour and I really liked it, so I am leaving a review on Google Maps. taste Chadol Soybean Paste Jjigae: Tastier than the soybean paste sold at most Korean restaurants. Jeyuk: Men love the taste. It's not greasy or bland, so if you mix it with rice, it tastes like a rice thief. Geotjeori(?): A bit sweet for Korean tastes, but addictive. Japchae: A little disappointing. When we ate it, the noodles were puffy and had a slightly rice cake texture. response service Both the boss and the part-time workers work with a bright smile. In particular, the female part-time workers are so kind that they ask the customer what they need just by making eye contact, and the same goes for the male part-time workers.

I saw it on TV and remembered it, so I went there and it turned out to be a great Korean restaurant in London. I ordered soft tofu stew and fried rice, but other places don't provide side dishes at all. Only the first dish is free and you have to pay for the second. Since I was starving for proper kimchi for a long time, I ate two plates. The prices are average compared to other restaurants in London. I enjoyed eating it.. This is a restaurant I want to go to again if I'm on a nearby travel route. Please continue to provide delicious Korean food to travelers who miss Korean food. Good luck.. It was rainy and cold, so I went about 10 minutes early before opening, so I took off one star because they let you out before opening. (I was really hungry and cold at the time and I was sad.) The service charge is a bit more expensive than other restaurants. There are many Korean restaurants where foreigners who have learned Korean food cook, but this place seemed to be cooked by Koreans.

Most of the staff are Koreans who are sensible and friendly, which is nice. Three delicious side dishes are provided for free. There is an odor removal device on the table grill, so there is no smell when grilling meat (pork belly recommended). This is a Korean restaurant I wanted to go to every day.

I went for lunch, and the set lunch menu was cost-effective, plentiful, and delicious. Our family of four had a very delicious meal. They also served warm miso soup, which was nice in rainy London. The owner and staff were all friendly.

We had the pleasure of discovering this restaurant during our stay in London, and what a pleasant surprise! We were warmly welcomed to this recommended establishment, where we were delighted to find a selection of halal meats. We opted for the Korean BBQ, and the waiter was helpful throughout. He guided us through every step and gave us excellent advice. The friendliness of the staff, without exception, greatly contributed to our experience. Despite the language barrier, they made every effort to ensure smooth communication, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience. A 100% unmissable experience in London.

Super delicious authentic Korean food with lots of banchan and generous portions. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Set menus offer a great variety of different dishes (fried rice, japchae, chicken, bulgogi…)

A restaurant I visited in Italy and Switzerland when I was tired of food and craving Korean food.. It's better than the rice you eat in Korea. This is the person who went without a reservation at 6:30 PM today! The food was so delicious and the staff were all so friendly! I'm especially grateful to the staff who took such good care of me because I have long and wavy hair! They brought me more side dishes and asked me if I needed more rice, so I asked if it was possible, but they gave me a whole container, so I couldn't walk because I was full. The staff was so kind that I strongly requested Ponatsu from the owner! It was a great memory, and I will definitely come back with my friends the next time I travel to London! The food is really delicious and the atmosphere and service are all 5 stars. Thank you.

The atmosphere is amazing. The perfect place for those who love quick service, reasonable prices, and delicious Korean food. If you listen to K-pop, it is definitely the place to go. Music choice is very good and variable.

Last time I went to a Korean BBQ was in New York, which was a good experience, but the staff was not so attentive and the meat was quite tasteless. This time I had a much better experience and Arang really showed how a great Korean BBQ should be like! Everything was tasty, even the kimchi which I’m not a great fan of was mouthwatering. Looking forward to my next Korean BBQ restaurant to visit!

On the 6th day of my trip to London, I searched for a Korean restaurant and went there. The owner is really kind I ordered the lunch menu special, bossam set meal, and squid green onion pancake, and it was delicious!

Staff were lovely and welcoming. We had the set box which was amazing.

The food quality is good, but something didn't come as nice as it should be, but I had experienced my dinner very late at night, so I totally justify the kitchen. The staff and atmosphere was very friendly, amazing prices for the location.

Really tasty food! We got the halal bulgogi kbbq and fried chicken with sweet chilli sauce and both tasted really really good! Bulgogi was tender and the fried chicken was the best korean fried chicken in london! The service and waiters are so friendly and nice as well, really makes you feel welcome! We also got the spring onion and lettuce to go with with the kbbq and my recommendation is definitely get the spring onion, they slice it thin and marinate it in some sauce, it goes so well with kbbq! You also get 3 free side dishes with the kbbq which are kimchi, bean sprouts and potato salad. Thanks guys for having halal kbbq options!

I came here because I wanted to eat Korean food while traveling in the UK, and I was impressed by the kimchi stew. It was so delicious. I want to visit again the next time I travel to the UK. It's actually better than Korea!! The staff are also friendly :)

Great food, service and music. The menu was extensive and our servers, Sara and Sin Hang, recommended some dishes which was really helpful. The price was also reasonable.

Arang provided a decent experience. The staff were helpful, the atmosphere creates the ideal setting for catching up with friends. While the sirloin, bulgogi, and kkotgetang were good, the tteokboki fell short of expectations. I couldn't taste the spiciness, and the flavor was mediocre compared to other Korean spots in London. Nevertheless, it's a cool spot with potential!

Came here with a friend for lunch and the staff were really friendly. They tried their best to accommodate to my friend’s gluten intolerance and was careful to ensure every item served was suitable. Lovely people and yummy food! Would give 10 stars if I could :)

Had a lovely time with my sister, we ordered the bbq meat, the staff was very helpful, always checking on our food, making sure it was cooked properly, helping us cook while we was eating. Would definitely recommend as the atmosphere was very intimate and cosy. We was lucky to be seated as we didn't have a booking, but they do get very busy so would advise to book in advance.

If you’re looking for a good korean restaurant with lots of halal options this is the place. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable about halal food. They have a lot of halal dishes on their menu, and they provide halal alternatives to replace the non-halal meat of the dishes that are not halal. We really enjoyed our food. (Make sure you have a reservation)

Japchae, cabbage, and stir-fried pork were delicious. I was with the kids, and the owner gave us two melonas that he had bought for us to eat. I tried other Korean restaurants while I was staying in the UK, but this place is the best in terms of food and service.

A real Korean restaurant. I ate pork set meal and kimchi stew for lunch. very good. Side dishes are also provided for free. Many other restaurants do not provide basic side dishes. Definitely revisit

The food here was so good, they have a good range of halal options. The price was fair compared to the portion size. I tried the beef bibimbap and halal bulgogi , it was delicious, defo would go again.

I have been to Arang many times over the last 10 years. It's changed quite a bit, but the food and experience are still great.

This one of the best restaurants in London, you must try it. We didn’t make reservation thinking that it’s early dinner but reservation is recommended, and they still accommodated us for our party of 8. The staffs are very accommodating and friendly. The ambiance was quiet, at first, but it gets a bit loud as soon as the restaurant gets crowded. We ordered the BBQ and several others in their menu, and all turned out great. The quality of meats were excellent. We’ve been to several Korean restaurants in the United States and this will be in my list of places to go to in London. If you’re in the area and want to try, and experience, Korean food, come to Arang Restaurant.

I like that the dining table is wide. It was my first time eating Korean food while traveling in Europe for two weeks. It was really, really delicious. The three of us went with my child and ate seolleongtang, kimchi stew, stir-fried pork, and pork belly, and we ate them all. It's a shame that I couldn't eat the lunch menu because it was a weekday. If you are visiting, please eat the lunch menu on a weekday!!! The price is better too. The staff were very friendly, and I felt very comfortable talking in Korean after a long time haha. After eating like this, I gained 71 pounds. The price is not that expensive. 3 bowls of small ramen at a ramen restaurant were 70 pounds.

I look for Korean food during every vacation. The first evening we looked they were overbooked so we went next door to Mukbang which was also very good. Second time we managed to be squeezed in for a last minute reservation. We ordered a set menu meal for two and it was just what I was craving! I also tried makgeolli for the first time though I’ve lived in Korea before and it was amazing! Definitely going to keep an eye out for it more! Highly highly recommend but make a reservation ahead of time!

Halal Korean bbq. Everything was delicious and great service too. Must try the bong bong grape juice. It’s very refreshing. Beef bulgogi melts in your mouth. Chicken wings was massive and saucy.

The food was delicious and the restaurant had this typical korean atmosphere. It was quite busy and the staff were running around a lot, which made it a bit more difficult to place the order.

We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 7 years and we have never been disappointed!! The food is delicious and the portions are generous . The price is also very good . The staff is very friendly and they all extremely polite and make sure you are having a good experience. The food comes quickly and they have a good variety of wine and alcohol . We went there yesterday for my birthday and they gave me a bottle of champagne as a present . I was speechless!! 3rd time dining here! We went on Wednesday afternoon for lunch - staff and delicious dishes Loved that they had halal options available. Menu had a lot of variety. I found that the portion were good for the price (they’ve special lunch offers during the weekdays 11am-3pm)

Came as a party of two, ordered a small amount of dishes. We got the baby octopus stir fry, the Mandu soup and the banchan (potato salad, beansprouts, and kimchi) which were on the house. The food came very quickly and everything was so delicious, and all so light yet filling. The service was also lovely, such kind and helpful staff. We were even offered some orange slices at the end of our meal/while paying the bill. Very hospitable and nice atmosphere, will come back for more. ❤️

We went for the restaurant but we didn’t have a reservation. The team was super nice and we waited for no more than 20 minutes and they secured a table for us. The menu is full of variety and they all helped us and selected the special dish that has a soup and beef meat. The meal was prepared in front of us with a special burner. All the items were super fresh. The taste is beyond the dream with a team that is AWESOME. They offered some lettuce plates and small hors-d’œuvre on the house with generosity. We absolutely recommend the place if you are up to a SUPER KOREAN authentic taste. Can you imagine just we just want again for the second time in less than a week and the experience is still awesome. I have added the dishes that we took today to the video of last time. AWESOME AND MUST TRY.

The restaurant is quite big with two floors All the food we ordered were amazing! Highly recommend the beef hotpot (casserole) and cheese tteobokki! Fried chicken were tasty and juicy Kimchi pancakes were up to standard Makgeolli (rice wine) was very good too. You could order a pot for sharing Service was great☺️

The waiters aren't the most friendly but the food is absolutely brilliant and the prices are quite good considering it's in Soho! Also they encouraged you to take a doggy bag if you haven't finished your food - this is a nice touch!

What a wonderful experience! I booked Arang for a surprise birthday party for my partner and we had the BEST night. Good vibes, unpretentious and AMAZING food (this is a meat eaters paradise so bare that in mind if you have any veggie/vegan guests.) Service is calm and attentive, they stored and served the cake we brought, let us decorate the table with confetti and even gave my partner a birthday gift on departure <3 thank you SO much Arang - we will be back!

Absolutely am obsessed with this Korean restaurant, and extremely happy they serve halal food! So many amazing dishes and so flavoursome, and decently priced, especially being located in central London! I always come back here when I’m craving some Korean food!

The staff are really friendly and welcoming and even without a reservation they will try to attend to you in the best way possible. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I had never eaten a Korean BBQ before and the staff went above and beyond showing us what to do and checking we were OK.

We had a reservation for 4 people at 9.30pm and they took awhile to get us seats. We ordered lots of sumptuous halal dishes, most of them were great, a few dishes were a bit too sweet (ie the japchae and the tteokbokki). Our orders took awhile to arrive as we had ordered a lot, but great service for the halal korean BBQ. A waiter kindly explained the various dips, and helped us with cooking the meat. Good atmosphere, would recommend ordering lots of dishes and sharing them!

The food and staff was amazing- Peter was so kind and generous to us! We accidentally ordered a pan fried chicken dish instead of normal fried chicken but he still took back the dish after hearing we meant to order the friend chicken dish and proceeded to make us the new fried chicken dish that we intended to initially order- even though it was our mistake and we were fine with eating both either way. The customer service was amazing and they even offered us snacks at the end before we left for goodwill, will definitely be coming back as this restaurant is one of my favourite korean bbq places in London. We also ordered bulgogi and tteokbokki that tasted amazing and filled us both up. The complimentary side dishes are delicious and pair perfectly with the bbq meat

Food is great, pretty good value compared to a lot of other kbbq in London, generous with sides, and they serve makgeolli in a cool jug, been back several times will always recommend

I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for halal korean bbq. The menu has a good halal meat selection and other alternative. Services was great, do ask questions about the others items in the menu as they can give u alternative options. It is abit pricey but deffo worth it

양도 충분하고 맛있어요. 단 치즈닭갈비, 육개장 등이 대체적으로 짭니다. 덜 짜면 더 맛있을 것 같아요 갈비탕=설렁탕에 갈비, 불고기전골=간장베이스 아닌 빨간 다데기 국물 등 기존 개념이랑 다른 부분이 있지만 맛있어요

Came here when I was starving and it really hit the spot. We went a little crazy for two people but all the food top quality. Most of the menu is halal, you will definitely have to ask the staff but the staff is quite knowledgeable. I would recommend the spicy nengmyeon and the jjampong. We even tried the yukhoe and it’s definitely a try at least once kind of experience. Staff are very accommodating and overall everything was affordable.

Really tasty food and excellent service. What I loved was that there was small portion of Yukjeajang soup, so we took 2 grills and small soup and were so full that we could not walk. Service was great, so helpful, so service minded... :)

Nourriture vraiment excellentes et portions généreuses. Le service est très rapides et les serveurs vraiment gentils. Le restaurant est sympathique et le bœuf et poulet sont halal, ce qui est vraiment bien. On reviendra quand on sera de passage à Londres c'est sûr 😊

Ate here today and it was my first ever korean bbq experience only bc it’s difficult to find a halal one …. and it was sooooo worth it. Had the halal bulgogi, tteokkbeokki, sirloin beef bbq and prawn dumplings. Everythingggggg was on point and that was enough food for 2 :) deffo recommend

This place is absolutely amazing!! The service is impeccable and everyone is so sweet which really adds to the experience. The food is REALLY worth it. It’s definitely one of the best, if not THE BEST place to go for if you want delicious korean bbq. I wish I could eat here everyday. The servers were really considerate and were so helpful towards us and everyone else. They were attentive and made sure every customer was satisfied. There’s honestly no bad thing I could say about this place!!

Went with a big group of people and the experience was really great. The food was delicious and I tried new things I’ve been looking forward to like naengmyeon which was interesting and I really liked the taste of it and the tangsuyuk (chicken). The food is also halal so it’s inclusive for everyone. The service was good and we were all attended to throughout, and the restaurant had a nice ambiance. I’ll definitely be going again as the menu had so many good options.
