Vietnamese Street Food in City of London, Westminster

The food is very good, but it feels overwhelming and like you have to eat quickly. We finished our meal in 30 minutes. If you want to relax, don't go. Too bad, it was very good.

First time eating Vietnamese and it was great, staff was super polite and the atmosphere is super cozy

DO NOT GO HERE! I went to this restaurant for lunch and had the worst food poisoning of my life that forced me to the hospital. I had the vegetable curry with steamed rice. The doctor told me the food poisoning came from reheated rice which results in an aggressive type of bacteria. This was ongoing for 4 days, with me being bedridden. I have reported this to the council and are currently investigating this situation.

Excellent food, very kind staff and welcoming place. The only "flaw" is that they are very quick to serve and also to remove the dishes at the end of the meal, so the customer feels a bit rushed. Recommended!

We're crammed in like donkeys, sitting with strangers, the waiters pushing us as we pass by, let us know if we're disturbing anyone. They encourage consumption with a minimum of £10 per person. The portions are ridiculous, 3 slices of squid for £12.50. Even George V wouldn't dare.

Exquisite and authentic. Nice and clean place. One pho, two rolls, one beef dish, two beers. Delicious. About £60. Not cheap, but worth it.

The food is authentic and the staff is very friendly

The meat was tender and soft, the noodles had the perfect bouncy texture, and the broth was warm and light. This is a nice cozy place to have a comforting bowl of pho.

Viet Food is my favourite place in Chinatown. The fresh summer rolls were bursting with flavour, and the mango duck was perfectly cooked with a delicious balance of sweet and savoury. There is a great atmosphere, friendly service, and beautifully presented dishes. I can’t wait to come back!

I had the best Pho in my life, very nice and fast service. My son was also satisfied.

Good food! Fastest service! Very crunched space on 1st floor where we were sat and literally 2 people on left and 2 people on right were feeling like sitting with us. But good and polite staff! Great location! The prawn rice was a nice addition to my food palette!

Loved the chicken pho here. The crispy calamari was a bit stringy but the dipping sauce was fantastic! The sea bass was cooked and coated in a fragrant, gorgeously golden crispy batter. But the winning dish was the pandan, banana and sago dessert made with coconut milk! My friend and I couldn’t stop eating it and I’m sure we’d have eaten three bowls of it.

Unfortunately there was no food here. Far too oily and hardly any vegetables in the dish. I felt like I had a whole onion in my food. The spring roll starter was very good, but unfortunately the main courses were not. We're not coming anymore.

The food was delicious and I have no complaints about that but the service in the other hand was quite disappointing. They forgot my order and brought my partner’s order and the side dishes we ordered. I waited a bit longer thinking mine just took some more time after waiting 10 minutes more and other people that had ordered after us started receiving their orders , I knew something was up. So I asked for my dish and waitress just asked “you want [dish name]?”. Like I didn’t order it 20 minutes ago. She came back with my dish and didn’t even apologize. I get it it could happen to all of us to forget something but atleast be professional with it and apologize? They started clearing up our dishes even before we left our table. I didn’t feel welcome at all. The only reason my review has 2 stars is because the food was good.

Ate one of the best pho soups here in 2023, I still think about it two years later. Maybe it's because we also loved the vibe at our small window bar table, but I remember it being a wonderful night out.

The food here is absolutely delicious! Authentic Vietnamese flavors, fresh ingredients, and great presentation. The pho is rich and flavorful, and the spring rolls are perfect. Friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it even better. Highly recommend for a great dining experience!

Excellent Vietnamese Food in Soho London 🏮🇬🇧 We went there for dinner yesterday. We ordered pork rib bacon, chargrilled three of pork and chicken wings.

Had the brunch there. Their service was terrible.

We went there on Google reviews. But I admit to being disappointed by the attitude of the waiter who was not friendly. They took turns coming to ask us if we had finished. It was quite limited. We had to tone it up a bit after the fourth passage... The portions are quite small. But the taste is there! We will not come back.

There was a bit of a wait, but the food came out quickly after ordering. There was so much food that my mom couldn't even eat half of it.

service was fast & amazing, but we were lead to a shared table with other patrons which was fine!! but a heads up would have been nice, especially considering that the space is rather cramped. the spring summer rolls we got tasted pretty good, however the rice papers were obviously prepped a while ago so it was superrrr sticky (like sticking to our chopsticks kinda sticky). i got the phochinhue which was overall good, the broth was alright (not out of this world and ive had better) and the beef was tender + delicious but one thing ill say is i wasn’t too big a fan of the noodles, it had a rough edge to it but my friend liked it!

One of the best meals I had in London. Yes I know, I was in “Chinatown”, but all food seems to be the same (also must of the restaurants doesn’t take credit/debit cards here). So this one appears in front of me literally like an oasis in the desert

The food here was ok and the service was average. We had to share a table with 2 other groups, which we didn’t mind. I had high expectations of the food after reading all the reviews, but the taste wasn’t all there. Maybe this is a British Vietnamese type of pho, but it’s no where near the authentic pho. Also, the service was ok. Our bill was $26 and we gave them a $30. The server never came back with our change.

Beautiful quirky spot. You can eat amazing food and watch the world go by. Literally in the hustle and bustle that is London city. The food is beautiful , so tasteful.

There are so many types of food that everyone wants to eat, no matter what you order, you won't be disappointed. The fried beef with lemongrass rice and shrimp paste water spinach are the most recommended. The colorful coconut milk sago is also delicious. I want to come again in the near future.

My ancestors are crying. I cannot believe that you served this and called it Banh Xeo. You left all that filling at the bottom of the plate and the fried batter sadly sits on top screaming for help. This hurts my soul as a Viet person to be served this. I can't even... this is not authentic at all.

Excellent Vietnamese address. On the other hand, we feel that things are going very quickly. As soon as your dish is finished, you are cleared to make way for the next customer.

Of the dozens of places to eat in this area, this one is worth your attention because: - the staff welcomes you with a smile on their face - the staff is interested and helpful to customers - and most importantly, the food is very good and warming, especially on cold days

This was the first restaurant I went to more than twice during this trip. It was really delicious, the set menu was reasonably priced (they serve rice in gobong rice haha), and they were very kind. It is also the place where I had the most delicious meal. I definitely want to come back on my next trip!

I’ve been to this restaurant before and the food was as good as it was this time round as well. I’ve got the lemongrass chicken last time and I had to get it again because it was that great. I also ordered softshell crab which was a Tapas and I really didn’t have high hopes for it, but it was out of this world. Portion wise, they’re okay they’re too small, but they’re not too big. The service is a bit slow because they’re just so busy so sometimes it takes them awhile to just come and serve you/look after you. My favourite bird of the chorus the wall they have full of random postcards.

Restaurant with a rather friendly atmosphere. We went without a reservation and were able to be seated directly upstairs. On the other hand, we were seated on “stools”, it was not the most comfortable. Regarding the dishes we had, we shared several tapas, which were generally good. The service was fast and the servers were attentive. I recommend this place if you pass by.

There was a wait, and I was guided to the second floor. I ordered beef fried rice, basic rice noodles, and spicy rice noodles. All three were delicious. It's spicy enough to eat spicy food. Vegetables are provided separately, so just choose what you want to add (ask in Korean if you want cilantro). Calculation is done at the table.

Best Pho in London, quick and fresh!

Spring rolls were nice, but the beef slow cook pho was extremely bland. I had to add all the optional herbs and chillies to the pho, when I usually only just add a few to adjust the taste. The staff and interior were nice, toilets kept clean. However I believe the restaurant is very much overhyped due to the number of tourists and people not have much previous experiences of eating pho and Vietnamese dishes.

Honestly the best food and best service i have ever experienced .If you are ever in London you have to go there. Definitely 5 stars. Thanks for making the food so quickly . The teenagers from Germany.

2025/02 Great pho with a very authentic taste! The broth was rich and flavorful, and the beef was perfectly tender. The summer rolls were also fresh and delicious. A solid spot for a comforting and satisfying Vietnamese meal. Highly recommend!

The pho was good. Spicy broth was not very spicy but nothing a little chilli oil cannot fix. But the rice paper rolls were not it. The reviews had amazing things to say so we tried it, but it was quite bland, even with the dipping sauce. I would recommend a visit - just pick a different starter than we did.

This was such an amazing experience! We shared 2 starters and the morning glory was out of this world! I could eat it every day. So good and tasty! The service was amazing, efficient and everything felt very authentic. Would love to come back some day soon!

As a Chinese, I can’t speak Chinese

I was tired, but the soup was amazing... I really missed Asian food, but I enjoyed it. After traveling to many countries, I think the rice noodles here were the most delicious. I recommend it!!

We went there early and got a table without any issues. However, I made a small mistake when ordering – I accidentally ordered something with pork. Of course, it was my mistake, but when I pointed it out to the staff member, he seemed really upset. He took it off the bill without any problem, but his attitude was quite negative. The food was still very, very tasty, but good service is just as important as good food

Incredible food and lovely staff.

The food was nice. The chicken curry was a little salty, but had a good amount of heat. The rice was very tasty and was my favorite dish. The chicken wings were nice too, wish the lemongrass flavour was stronger. Overall a nice meal.

It's really delicious here! It's been quite a while since I studied in the UK, but whenever I feel stuffy here, I feel relieved. First of all, the soup is truly legendary. If you cook it so well, your lips will stick together because of the meat colaten! Because it's central London, the space is a bit small, but it's all forgiven once you taste the food. The taste of real rice noodles is one of the best in London. You should definitely go there. And the non-alcoholic cocktails are delicious (the ones with berries are my favorite).

Come here again and again. Highly recommended.

Well, the place is dilapidated and I hope you are in a hurry to eat... The vegetable curry is simple but good... The spring rolls are very small, expensive and bad. It's the worst Vietnamese I've eaten in, it's a long way from my grandmother's cooking...

We came some time before closing time and the personnel was friendly and tried to make their best to find us a table. The service was quick and the food arrived also within 10-15 min from the time we ordered. The ambience is OK but nothing special, it's a small place on the ground floor and more spacious upstairs. The food was nothing special. Was OK but nothing special. If you find yourself eating there then I would recommend the green carry chicken. It was the best dish from what we ordered.

Must have eaten here a dozen times alone and with others and it’s always a hit with whoever we take. Just so good. It’s our go to restaurant when we are in Soho. The chicken curry and lemongrass chicken is superb. Friendly efficient service and ambient vibes. Highly recommend.

Food was terrible over priced and low quality, this restaurant is for the over hyped common tourist with no knowledge for food or taste that doesn’t care to pay for over priced food that has little flavour, and service was very negative, they give the most ugly and childish response to constructive criticism let alone, when requesting for extra things like extra toppings for my pho, which btw they don’t do all I asked for was prawns in my chicken pho which they said they could only put extra of what ever order, but would be charged for extra so I asked for the prawn pho with extra prawn charged me nearly 18£ for a whopping total of five prawns, which wasn’t even fresh 😂, just go the regular “pho” franchise, they have more flavour and do combos with fresher ingredients for way cheaper!

Food was very tasty and filling.. vegetable Bun...Noodle salad and veg but so tasty..service is fast but they could be more friendly and welcoming. We've been over the years to this place and always food for a nice comfortable meal...usually you can find a table but generally quite busy and atmospheric. Lot of sharing tables if that's your thing.

Amazing dining experience. Soft pork belly, the best soft shell crab I've had in my life, and the bún bo xao was gorgeous. 100% recommend if you fancy Vietnamese food in London.

So so so tasty, the food is really good and the staff really kind, it's not overpriced at all !!! Great place to eat if you're in chinatown.

The food is ok. Not great and not bad. It is very pricey for what it offers. Also, the fact that you can stay just one hour it isn’t nice at all. I felt like I was at a marathon and I needed to eat as fast as I could. At the end of the hour that I supposed to stay the waiter came twice to ask if I am done even though I still had tea and beer left. And I had 10 more minutes to stay. It is a very crowded and tiny place.

We ate there three times during our stay. Highly recommended to anyone who likes this cuisine. The soups are very tasty, as are the homemade spring rolls etc.

Around 7pm, there were about 5 groups in line and we waited for about 15 minutes. Due to the large number of seats and the quick movements of the staff, the turnover is fast. Two people ordered pho (beef, shrimp) and lemongrass tea. Everything was more delicious and exquisite than I expected. I was very happy with the kind service they provided, such as holding my jacket for me when I sat down and preparing me a new vegetable when I mistakenly ate the vegetables that were meant to accompany my noodles for a salad. The staff who spoke good Japanese spoke to me in a friendly manner, which warmed my heart. (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵) It was a really good memory. I want to go again.

A safe bet for a good pho soup. Be careful with their spicy levels, the soft serve was already too much and I couldn't eat my dish even though I regularly eat spicy foods and tolerate fairly high levels.
