Finding 100% authentic Vietnamese food in London isn’t easy, but Viet Food really stands out to me. It’s an absolute gem in Chinatown, London. I love that they put a lot of effort into the food, the atmosphere, and the details that remind me of Vietnam. From the menu design to the painting of a street corner in Vietnam and even the traditional cutlery like coconut bowls, everything feels so thoughtful and cozy. It’s like stepping into a little piece of Vietnam in the middle of London. I also love that they serve a variety of family-style dishes. There are many options to choose from, but I usually go for Pho, BBQ pork, summer spring rolls...What I love most is that, compared to other Vietnamese places we’ve tried - whether dining in or ordering through apps - the prices here are super reasonable for the quality. The portions are really generous, and my husband and I always leave feeling completely full. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, totally recommended 👌🏻✨ I really appreciated that my pho was served with coriander leaves on a separate bowl along with soya sprouts, lemon, and chilli pepper. I don't like coriander and when I want Vietnamese food I always need to ask for it to be removed from the dish. This time I forgot until the very last moment, and surprisingly I didn't need to in any case. Very busy but cosy atmosphere, excellent customer service. When I visit London again, I will remember this place when I want to eat something tasty for a reasonable price!

An essential address for fans of Asian cuisine! I've been there several times, and I've never been disappointed. The dishes are tasty and quality. Special mention for the non-alcoholic cocktail made with coconut, passion fruit and mango: a delight that I highly recommend. To be tested without hesitation

Waiting in line for 15 min was worth it. We went with the whole family and it was a great success. Delicious food and fantastic service. If they came back to London, we would stop by again today for sure!

Nice aesthetic interior :) and friendly staff :) Each dish was just over £10 but don't expect a massive bowl. It can JUST satisfy your hunger. My partner and I ordered the Pho with beef, but mine was spicy. It is not Bun Bo Hue as they didn't have this on the menu. The closest was adding chilli oil to the beef Pho for an extra 40p. For a "16-hour" broth, I didn't taste much it was mild (as the chilli wasn't much spicy) and watered down. We shared a banh xeo (viet pancake) also ~£10. It's normally double the size so it can fold over the filling, not a small blanket XD. For a tapas dish that costs as much as the pho, I expected bigger size or more filling? Same for the Vietnamese coffee, i paid 3.20 for a small glass... it's strong, yes, but very expensive. If you're someone who needs to rest from the outside and fill your stomach, then okay. As a chinese/ Vietnamese person, this place did not satisfy my craving for viet food.

Food was good, but not exceptional either. The prices were a bit too high for what was on offer, the starters were not good (summer rolls were 0815, sauce was 0/5 points) and the wings were nothing either. Cocktails and main courses were good.

Ignore its name and the fact it's in China Town yet is Vietnamese and you are in for a genuinely great meal. We asked the waitress to bring us a selection of what she thought was good and it certainly didn't disappoint. Without doubt the best meal I've had in Chinatown.

Excellent Vietnamese cuisine!! We had a Pho and a Bun which were excellent!!! We were able to have dinner straight away as a group of 4 without booking! Be careful, their spicy, described as medium, is really very very spicy (and yet I'm used to it!)! In short, excellent address in Soho that I recommend!!

Really enjoyed all of the food I tried here, especially the black Angus ribeye (super tender and lovely flavours from the marination). That steak alone is worth me coming back here. The rest of the food was great too, very fresh flavours and good portions. The staff were welcoming and brought out the food very quickly. Definitely recommend

First time coming to this restaurant didn’t expect much from it at first but I was very wrong this place serves amazing and delicious food worth every penny I highly recommend the pho and beef prawn wrapped leaf. The staff are super kind and the service was quick only downside to this restaurant the chairs are uncomfortable overall 8.5/10

This Vietnamese restaurant in the Chinatown district of London will offer you a moment of relaxation and a change of scenery in the heart of London. Little advice, come before 5:00 p.m. to avoid the rush or risk being in the queue outside. The added bonus is that don't hesitate to take the small places in front of the window. London life is within reach: a real spectacle. 😉

Very good pho, but the starters were no good. Quite large seating area on first floor. Staff very rushed.

My husband and I have eaten here a lot the past 7 years but went yesterday and for the first time ever we were very unhappy. The chargrilled lemongrass chicken wasn’t nearly as good (not same flavor) and the lemongrass salad was very vinegary. Not sure if they have a new chef or a different one Sundays but we weren’t happy.

Incredible phos! Their juices are also very delicious. I recommend it for sure!

below average food and below average portion sizes. Chinatown is a tourist trap in my view, the restaurants here invest most of their money in rent and not much money in food quality and amount.

Super good food, there were 6 of us and we were not disappointed

The food is delicious but service is terrible and beyond rude. We were a table of two and made the terrible mistake to go on a Saturday evening when the whole area is packed. We queued for a bit but that was fine with us as it moved relatively quick. We ordered two ramen and no drinks. 45 minutes they started constantly bothering us that we have to finish fast as there are other people waiting (which is not my problem as a client, sorry). They kept putting pressure on us and hovering over the table sort of eavesdropping, it was very uncomfortable. They constantly tried to get the plate out from under my face which was unbelievable! I hate to be rushed when I eat and this is just bad customer service. So when they brought out the bill, we asked to take off the service charge because we weren't happy with the service. Suddenly they started to play it dumb as if they didn't understand what we wanted and even then they cheekily tried to put a higher price for the dishes we ordered. They kicked us out after 50 minutes sharp, I had to rush through the last third of my dish while the waitress was standing next to me almost pulling it out from under my face.

Hearty and authentic bowl of pho! Fresh ingredients used, broth was so flavorful and delicious. Perfect for a cold rainy day in London. Fast turnaround time and even tho there’s usually a line at dinner time, it moves really fast. They serve up the dishes very quickly after you order.

The restaurant is amazing, the dishes have so much flavor. The staff really takes care. If I come back to London, I will happily go there again. I can only recommend this restaurant

Amazing place in Chinatown. I had fried rice with shrimps. Usually this meal is served with shrimps and sausage but they made the version without sausages as I am not a meat lover. Quick, delicious and great service 👍👍

We were skeptical due to the touristy location but absolutely WOW! We were very impressed with the food. We ordered a bunch of different dishes and everything was impressive.

Service was friendly. The food rather average and portions just about enough if you are hungry. I had the Bun with sirloin steak - the steak was perfectly cooked, but sadly tough.

Pasta with pork looked as if each ingredient had been placed cold separately in a bowl and served. 3 meatballs on a pasta day with pork is definitely not enough. The dish itself was dry, even for fish, and the sauces on the table did not help the situation. After such cuisine, I would expect the dish to be juicy and rich, but it wasn't.

Found this place by chance and loved everything about it. Not only staff was super nice. They have a large menu and everything that we had was delicious. Also prices were great!

There was not a enough of chicken or vegetarian options but what we ordered was delicious! Very friendly staff, they really take good care of us and food comes extremely fast. Be careful of the drinks (there's a lot of alcohol in it 🤭)

In the heart of the Asian district, this Vietnamese restaurant stands out for its atmosphere. The service is impeccable and the dishes are served quickly and are purely delicious. Wow. Amazing food. The wok fried noodles were the best I've ever had (and I've had a lot) they were so fresh and delicious. Everything looked and smelt great. The seafood was cooked to perfection as were the rice. The rooms itself are really pretty, though it can get quite busy, but still managed to stay pretty quiet. The service was good. Overall it was a great place, definitely coming again!

Food is always fresh and tasty. I recommend their Pho soups as well as the grilled beatle leaf beef. Their salads are also fresh and delicious. Last time i went, i was a little bit disappointed with the soft shell crab. It came with 4-5 pieces of crab and SO much fried onion/garlic (i'd say a good few handfulls). The taste of thr crab was good, but the portion not so much. Other than that, you cant fault them. Service and atmosphere are always good.

This is quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s such a shame because we were excited to try the food and the atmosphere was cozy. But our server, a man in his 40s was in such a terrible mood. I get it, we all have bad days. But this went beyond that. We ordered and he’d leave us mid sentence. Increasingly upset with us, he’d return and just drop our water bottle, and glasses, and pretend he didn’t hear our questions, as he was giving us water. Then, my sister and I don’t have a big appetite, so we always share a dish. He refused to bring a bowl to plate, and pretended he didn’t understand what I was saying. When I finally said “you know what I mean”, he said “It’s in the kitchen, and I don’t want to go get it”. At this point he was yelling at us, with the most neurotic expression I’ve seen in a while. We stood up and left. He demanded we paid, and we said we didn’t touch the food and that the terrible was service. Hope this is an isolated incident, but it was reason enough for us to leave.

As a Vietnamese, I don’t think the food here is authentic. I ordered Bún thịt nướng, it didn’t have enough veggies, it had very little meat.

The food is absolutely top notch! I have booked a table (which I would highly recommend if you dont want to queue forever) for my friend and I. Best Vietnamese I've had in London. We shared some summer rolls and beans and we both had the Bun, mine with sirloin steak (the meat was unbelievably delicious) and my friend with prawns. The ingredients were fresh, the seasoning was perfect and all made just beautifully! The restaurant is very busy and noisy, not enough staff around, so ordering takes a while, there is no checkback, so the setting is not quite 100% but the food is so good, that I will definitely come back again for sure. This is my new go to place in China Town. Fair prices too!

The rice noodle soup is not a thick meat broth, but rather clear. Should I say it’s lighter than what I ate in Vietnam? It's kind of fun to use a ladle like a Japanese udon restaurant instead of a spoon. When the weather in London was chilly and I was about to catch a cold, it was nice to be able to eat a warm bowl of noodles.

A newly opened Vietnamese restaurant in Chinatown, very busy for locals and tourist, got lots of choice of Vietnamese Street food with reasonable price.

We showed up around 8:20pm after a concert, and understandably had to queue 15-20min outside to be seated, as the restaurant does not do reservations. The wait was worth it! The food was awesome, and very friendly waiters, but who were clear stretched as they forgot to bring a few things ( eg cutlery/ second drink) and needed reminding. Would recommend to avoid peak hours if possible to get the best experience in Vietnamese food & service.

Haha, my favorite restaurant in London I went there the most The lunch menu and dinner menu are different, but I personally think the dinner rice noodles are more delicious. There is a wait, but you have to wait. Because it’s delicious ㄷㄷ

Very tasty food! The vegetarian curry was very well seasoned and I was particularly impressed that it had okra in it. It was one of the best curries I've ever tasted and the price really couldn't be beat. A curry, a large portion of rice and a delicious small salad for just under 10 pounds is hard to beat in London. My companion was also very happy with the bun and chicken curry. I will definitely come back. Without question the best restaurant in Chinatown!

One of the safest restaurant from China Town, from food point of view. Lovely staff, very friendly. I tried clasic Pho beef soup, and another typical viet dish, with a lot of vegetables and also beef. If you are hungry and you are near China Town, I totally recommend it.
