Superb! Delicious freshly cooked food and a warm welcome from the hosts. Excellent choice of locally sourced meals with lovely vegetarian options. Thoroughly enjoyed every course.

Was für eine einzigartige Erfahrung es ist, dass das Betreiberpaar „seinen Tisch“ mit Gästen teilt und diese außergewöhnlich gut mit hervorragenden Produkten verwöhnt. Und für dieses einfache Konzept bekommt man eine vielfältige Karte geboten. Neben dem Gruß aus der Küche stehen drei Vorspeisen, vier Hauptgerichte und vier Nachspeisen zur Auswahl. Wir hatten als Vorspeise eimal die Krabbe mit Chilli Pfannkuchen, gepickelten Miesmuscheln und einer Sauce mit dem Corail der Jakobsmuschel und die rote Beete mit Ziegenkäse und Minze, beides sehr harmonisch abgestimmt und vorzüglich im Geschmack. Das gleiche gilt für die Lachsforelle mit Kaperntartarsauce einfach oerfekt auf den Punkt gebraten. Als Nachspeise entschieden wir uns für den ausgezeichneten schottischen Käse. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes kulinarisches Erlebnis in diesem kleinen Restaurant bei Iain und Joyce zu Hause.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Setting is great in what is in effect a house on the edge of the village. Couldn’t recommend more highly - book ahead is essential. Excellent produce locally sourced - a choice of meat, fish, veggie starters and main course. Take your own wine.

Returned for the second year and both years ate here twice it was that good! Warm and welcoming hosts with great food- will be back next year!

If you are on The Isle of Mull, you must visit this little gem of a restaurant. Food is beautifully cooked and presented using the freshest of ingredients. This is as good as any of the finest London restaurants and is excellent value. We will return.
