We have been to Applebys 5 times this spring and summer. Every time the staff have been friendly and helpful. Only one of those times the queue was out the front door but it was a Sunday and a super hot day so it was expected. We’ve always found a table and enjoyed trying all the different flavours. The children have enjoyed going on the little park and playing on the field across the road. There are plenty of picnic tables there too. The biggest thumbs up for us though is that they offer gluten free cones, brownies and waffles so our celiac daughter can enjoy a treat too and not have the feel left out at all!

I came to applebys a few years ago.. I wasn’t impressed with the ice cream but we was passing by last week so we thought we would try it again but we were still disappointed with the ice cream unfortunately.. It was very very watery , not creamy at all.. we had 3 different types of them and they were all the same. Also cheap flakes are clearly being used, there definitely not Cadburys , which is a shame, and the wafer cones tasted awful. I hate leaving bad feedback.. some people will love this place . But I sell and serve ice cream myself and it’s beautiful what we serve , with the prices they charge, it was a real let down personally..

So much choice and such good ice cream! Really busy on a bank holiday but lots of space to enjoy an ice cream either next to the shop, indoors or over the road.

Stopped by last week (21/10/22) as we were ready for a cuppa after a wet and windy dog walk on Theddlethorpe Beach. The tea, coffee and tea cakes were lovely. We followed up with an ice cream each, which was outstanding and so reminiscent of my youth when an Appleby's ice cream was a real treat.

Lovely new premises round the back of the original place but it doesn’t sell itself from the road- we’re nearly didn’t stop as it didn’t obviously look open. Lovely coffee but very disappointing ice cream- I had a Capuccino flavour and couldn’t detect even the faintest hint of coffee! We were also disappointed in the quality of the tea cakes- which were £3 each!

We have been here many times now...every time we stay at our holiday home in Saltfleet we make a bee line there for our treats...Our 3 wee doggy's now know they can have a small tub between them as soon as we get inside... The flavour choices are AMAZING & VAST !! Not expensive...we always choose the 3 tub size and try to vary the flavours each time...Vanilla only for the girls though... Try it...you will be like us and be back many times....The girls who serve you are really lovely and friendly...and patient as sometimes they have to wait for customers to make up their minds..as said..choices are vast... See you soon...again...

Popped in mid afternoon for ice-cream and a cup of tea. Both were very nice but the seating area inside the cafe needs new chairs and there was dirt on the windowsills. A shame as otherwise would have got 4 or 5 star review.

Checked their website on a Saturday Morning which stated open 10-5pm serving hot and cold food and even showed a menu page. We drove out to them for breakfast as a treat. When we entered we were ignored by staff so went to the counter to ask for a menu to be told "we are not serving hot food". I explained what the web site stated and the answer was "Oh I will have to change it" We left very disapointed and will not be returning.

Visit to the seaside wanted fish and chips, as I'm gluten free I usually struggle. Not here have gluten free on the menu, also curry sauce. We both had regular fish and chips, mine was wrapped separately from husbands as he had normal.Great portions glad we didn't go for the large.

Had a couple of roasts today which came with free desserts. Meal was lovely, fresh, hot, just what you expect. We was really happy with that.....but....half an hour after leaving we realised we had left a bag behind. Money, cards, car keys, medication, all stuff hard to replace when on holiday. We returned to the Windsor and the lady who was serving, cleaning etc said she saw the bag as soon as we left, so put it safe behind the counter. Panic over. We can't thank you enough xxx

Can't begin to say how bad this pub was, miserable landlady and landlord and the worst food I have ever not eaten. I say not eaten as we didn't get through even a quarter of the plate of awful food we were offered. My husband said the beer was okay but please don't bother with the food it REALLY ISNT WORTH IT.

We went specifically to this venue for breakfast. We ordered different breakfasts and made some changes to one of them with the helpful counter staff. The tea in the tea pot was cold and we took it back for a replacement hot tea pot. The breakfast was brought to us by a member of staff who did not smile or speak. Having ordered extra well done bacon we were surprised to note that it certainly hadn't been even well done. The plates were cold and so was half of the breakfast, the rest of it cooling rapidly. The toast and prepacked butter were placed on the top of the breakfast and we had to use our fingers to try and get them off the top, even though there was nowhere to put them (have they never heard of side plates)? All in all, very poor. Customer care is clearly not a priority.

Visited here yesterday as we have done many times previously and i was on my VERY SMALL electric scooter (ES). It was quite busy but not full as it is fairly small inside. Myself and my scooter took up the same amount of sitting on the chair as i was situated so i didn't need to use their chair and if on a large bike this would not have been possible. However a young girl asked if i could leave my ES outside and walk in which i could not as not able to do so. I replied we have been in there previously and had never been an issue but she said the couldn't allow it when they were busy. I would not have gone in if i was going to cause an issue or restrict any of the pathways and so i felt i had to leave, which we did. However there was 3 tables occupied by approx 12 men who were blocking pathways and not eating anything and were loudly talking to each other across the tables who were who were quite clearly obstructive but seemingly that was ok !!! I am disgusted in this day and age that such discrimination persists and i will not use them again. Perhaps they need to add a sign to the windows stating people with mobility aids would not be allowed in busy periods. Totally Disgusted. LInda Halls
