Had dinner here twice during our stay in the area for the Tatton Park Flower Show (sadly the last one for a few years!). The first time it was their Friday Fish and Chips for £10 offer, which we all had and thought was excellent value. They were the best fish and chips we'd had for ages and large portion sizes too. We returned the following evening and chose from the main menu. Again the food was delicious. Both times the staff were great, very friendly and welcoming and provided efficient and attentive service. Highly recommended!

We finally visited Antrobus Arms having read really positive reviews. We were not disappointed! All dishes were beautiful - steak pie, linguini and fish of the day. The pie was definitely the best I’ve ever eaten and enormous. The Chilean Sauvignon ticked every box. To make the evening perfect, the service was exceptional too. Thank you for a lovely evening.

We chose the Antrobus Arms for our Ruby Wedding Celebration Lunch for its location and ease of parking. We were seated in a private dining area which was spacious and relaxing. The staff were outstanding in every way and were organised, efficient and attentive at all times. Everyone in our party commented on their impeccable manners and attention to detail. Nothing was too much trouble! The food was delicious! Portion sizes were generous and the menu choices were varied and imaginative and the cost represented really good value for money! We would unreservedly recommend the Antrobus Arms to anyone looking for a similar ‘special’ event.

Visited because I have an odd plant based/gf diet and we know the Antrobus copes well with that. My husband had a steak which was nice although he felt over faced by a pile of chips. I was so looking forward to the cauliflower steak dish but it’s been changed on the menu and is now served with a pile of chips.If someone wants to eat healthily and have a cauliflower steak would they want a pile of chips? The old recipe was lovely and it’s a shame it’s gone- I went to have that favourite and it’s gone. The service is superb and the staff are lovely. Definitely worth a visit but going a bit ‘chippy’ meal rather than restaurant.

This was our 1st time visiting after going to the anderton boat lift for our friends birthday upon arrival we were shown to a table and given menus by a lovely member of the team Alice she was very bubbly and made us feel so welcome the menu and price was really reasonable and the portion sizes were very adequate I had fish and chips and wow the size of the fish well I will post a pic so you can see if you order I hope your hungry 😀 anyway needles to say we will be going back so thankyou Alice hope to see you soon.

We arrived at the Antrobus without booking on a busy Sunday afternoon but were swiftly found a table. The pub appears to have been tastefully modernised and the room we were in was light and airy. The staff were friendly and efficient without being intrusive and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. Suffice to say that we weren't disappointed, the Antrobus lives up to its billing as a gastropub, the quality of the food being the best I can remember having in a long time. All in all, thoroughly recommended for a meal out.

Lovely food and very friendly service. We were celebrating a 60th Wedding Anniversary with 3 generations in attendance and friends. Most of the menu was ordered and very much enjoyed. We will certainly be back

Our visit to Antrobus Arms was absolutely fabulous from start to finish. I took my Mum here on Sunday 10th March for Mothers day and we were booked in for 12:15. We were seated very quickly and it was a great time to go as it was very quiet. We were handed the set mothers day menu which included all allergens noted on the side of each dish. This was especially important for my mum who is gluten free. We had the soup to start and then both chose the roast dinners (beef and lamb). I was asked the cooking preference on the beef which I loved as I dislike it being red/bloody. The meals and service were super quick and our servers were lovely!! We finished with deserts and then as we went to pay my mum was handed some flowers for Mothers day! This was an incredibly thoughtful and lovely idea and made our trip extra special. I have told everyone about our visit and we will definitely come again! Very professional and smooth service!!

Picked this venue due to the 4.5 rating on Trip Adviser. However very expensive for what we got and quality was poor. When the bill came they tried to charge us £10 for three scopes of ice cream. The menu was a set menu which had I known beforehand I would not have booked. I think ours was £27.50 for 2 courses which basically consisted of 3 Roast dinners which were not great soup luke warm, duck pate which was OK but the sourdough toast you needed a chain saw to cut into and finally a bowl of ice cream. We had 3 cokes. Overall did not feel like good value as the food was not of a good standard. Won't be returning

It was our first time at The Antrobus Arms today and we certainly will be back. Breakfast with Santa was an amazing experience for the children as well as adults. Breakfast was delicious, very good choice of fresh and high quality products, poached eggs cooked to order and sausages were my favourite while my girls loved their pancakes with syrup. Santa was superb, very friendly and patient with my younger daughter and it certainly needs adding that he was the most realistic I’ve ever met with his real white beard! Well done to him for delivering such a memorable & very enjoyable experience! The team were very attentive& friendly. We felt well looked after. It is definitely 10 out of 10 from us! Lovely settings, excellent service and such a relaxed and personal atmosphere! Attention to detail and arrangements of the morning were spot on! Breakfast with Santa at The Antrobus Arms certainly will take a top place on our Christmas traditions list.

We attended the Breakfast with Santa this morning and I cannot express how much we all enjoyed this wonderful experience . We discovered that this was the first time they had put on this event and HATS OFF to the whole team and the Big Man himself for planning and hosting a totally memorable morning . Your level of customer service, the warmest welcome, the fantastic food, buffet style and piping hot , Santa's very personal interaction with each family, the very special well thought out gift for each child and then a story time session. It was such a friendly , relaxed morning which we all loved . WELL DONE to the whole team for a brilliant Antrobus welcome . Here's to this being an annual event. We will be quick off the mark to book as word will get out now that this a "must do" !!!

Wow! We were offered the dessert menu after eating a pie. Who would have space for anything after an amazing pie? Food was delicious, service was excellent and unobtrusive. AND no loud music! Wonderful

Sunday Roast for the 4 of us and it was lovely. Salmon tartar starter was delicious and then 2 of us had pork and 2 had roast beef. Lovely meat, crispy Yorkshire pudding, fresh veg. Only thing I’d do next time would be ask for gravy separate. We’ll go back, must try normal menu. Staff were lovely,

I’ve been coming here quite frequently over the last couple of months and have always received amazing service (super dog friendly) and delicious food. I came yesterday to realise it was Sunday roasts but I’m a veggie who isn’t the biggest fan of nut roasts. The waitress was lovely and asked the chefs if they’d make me something from their weekday menu which they did. Outstanding service as always!
