Wow, we t here on recommendation and I was so happy, the food was excellent very good price, had lunch and pudding and a drink each, the staff were lovely and friendly, when in Andover again I would Def go back Thank you for a lovely afternoon

We've heard such great things about this place so we thought we would give it a go. Unfortunately our experience wasn't so good. Ordered starters and main. Starters arrived and within 2 minutes so did mains. I had the roast beef lunch. Couldn't eat it. Roast potatoes were so hard even the fork wouldn't go in it.even the mash potatoes had a really hard bit making it inedible.

The food was very good. My only complaint is that I asked for some mustard. The server got this for me, but I was not keen on using the jar. I would have preferred a squeezy bottle, as I object to double dippers.

Great night Food excellent and had live music which was an unexpected bonus. Lovely atmosphere with other diners. Will visit again for sure.

Been here so many times but this was the 1st time the meal was below standard, the pub was very busy waiting time was around 45 mins this wasn’t passed on to us, they ran out of peas so some one did come and ask me if I wanted either mushy peas or baked beans as I don’t like either of those with gammon I opted for another egg, the whole meal was just not nice the gammon was dry the chips, what were there tasted like frozen chips ( I know they are but they tasted nasty) and 2 dried up onion rings very disappointing, like I said this is the 1st poor meal I’ve had here, not sure if you have changed chef or supplier but please go back to they way it was

We were a group of a dozen elderly men who visited today after a 5 mile walk close by, looking forward to a good pint and a nourishing lunch-we were not disappointed. Met by welcoming and friendly staff we enjoyed ,pies, fish & chips lasagne etc all home cooked and served with a smile. A good selection of beers and a pleasant atmosphere ensured an excellent finish to our exertions. All very good value for money too. Well done The Anton Arms.

Pre booked a table. A little celebration dinner. All food was amazing, the staff were very attentive and interacted with the children. We ordered kiddies meals, which came with small cutlery and two adult meals for the hungry bigger kids. Puddings all Round. Lots of toys for kids to play with and kept them busy. Excellent value for money and superb atmosphere. Always made to feel at home. Another fantastic visit. Also Looking forward to the upcoming events of the year. Neon party, bands, karaoke 🎤 🌟

Having had lunch here many times we decided to try out a pre Christmas dinner with friends, all being in our 70s we have eaten many over the years and cannot speak highly enough of the meal we ate, all freshly cooked delicious and nicely presented, friendly staff always welcoming. Well done Anton Arms.

In Andover for short visit and popped in to the pub for saturday brunch. Warmly greeted by very helpful and friendly staff. Ordered drinks and food which was served quickly and well presented and as the weather was bad we stayed for another drink. Very impressed with the service and will pop back in when we are back in Andover.

Last Wednesday I had dinner here and the burgers were unreal, all credit to the chef! Lovely atmosphere, great staff, would 100% recommend.

The food was poor, small portions and my burger was burnt. Our table was sticky and full of food crumbs all under our table. The men's toilets have a foul smell and my wife said the ladies were the same. The place was full of young enebriated people. Not a place I can recommend.

Had to wait for quite a while to book in. No designated till for food order's. Was pointed to our table Which wasn't very clean, neither was the chairs. Only a knife in the cutlery bucket & no condiments. Ordered our food via the app after waiting 40 mins my partner asked if the starter could come out with the mains & was told no you have to eat the 1 starter before our mains, then she said that oh & we don't have any vegan sausage left. (If my partner hadn't gone to ask about the starter when was they going to let us know?) When the starter arrived we asked the lady if we could have the mains and she offered to keep the starter and bring it with the main she was lovely thank you. When the mains came out the vegan meal was cold. The sirloin steak was supposed to be med-well but was med at best. The eggs were burnt the peas hard reheated bullets. How a chef could send food like this is disgusting. I would suggest instead of paying below par singers, to save the money and use it employ a chef. To which the live singers (singers used loosely) set there equipment right in front of a fire exit! Is this allowed? This is a pub trying to be something it's not. Because it's either a restaurant or a live music venue pub. Oh and it was table 32 booking at 8pm. Give this pub a wide berth if you want to eat nice food. Never again. Shame on you Anton Arms & shame on you Green King

Attended a funeral wake here on 1st September. Absolutely fabulous. The price was very reasonable, the food was excellent and the staff were brilliant. A sad occasion became a lovely family get together made more comfortable and pleasant by all the staff here. Many thanks to everyone.

Booked for Sunday roast. Not the best experience. Beef roast was overdone, the mash tasted more like smash and the veg were just boiled to oblivion. Cheap place but not worth the spend.

We visited as a party for six and from entering we were made welcome. All members of the group enjoyed the food and felt it was excellent value for money, I look forward for future visits.

Took my mum there for lunch. I’d been before but my mum hadn’t. We ordered our food and it didn’t take long, it was all freshly cooked and lovely and hot. All well presented too. We was served by Vicky, who was lovely, kind, helpful and has a good knowledge of the pubs menu. We was also served by Megan. Both girls were perfect with my mum who is quite a hard to please lady but she was impressed with the pub in general and then with the added bonus of lovely staff. We’ve even booked ourselves in for their fortnightly bingo session. Really looking forward to that. Thanks girls you are an asset to the pub. Xx

Seniors meal did 3 courses,chicken stripes cooked to perfection.. All day breakfast, (the perfect yolk) all of it cooked lovely.. Apple pie custard for afters.. Its a crime not to go at that cost...staff couldn't be more helpful and nice, looking forward to going again.

We were disappointed with our food and soroundings. The food was bland and basic. The decor overdone, with Christmas stuff up already and tacky hanging bits everywhere. Not for us.

We were on the last few days of our vacation from Canada and happened upon this gem of a place on our way from Stonehenge. The minute we walked in we felt at home! The friendly smiles, quaint decor and cosy feel was exactly what we needed after a long day of sightseeing. The food was so delicious and the portions were the perfect amount. Our server Jade and our waitress Leoni were extremely kind and helpful and went above and beyond. One of the best meals we have had in England and excellent prices. We highly recommend this pub to everyone. You won’t be disappointed!

Support your local pub! We’ve not been out in forever, the local pub has always been the best haunt for plotting dark deeds in quiet corners. Even with Covid restrictions, we were made to feel welcome by Clare and her team, the food was hot, fresh and there was plenty of it, we were under no pressure to order and there was no hassle to move on once we had finished. My chicken was superb and my wife, who eats very little, thoroughly enjoyed her macaroni cheese with very crispy bacon and sides of onion rings and garlic bread. Much love to all, a happy Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous new year!

We decided to go The Anton to support their 1st day of opening and we were greeted by the manager who explained the new procedures that Greene King put in place. Download the Greene King App and it is really easy and fast to use. Our drinks turned up extremely quickly and our food was ample and hot! The staff and atmosphere was friendly. Felt very safe. I came here yesterday with my husband for a meal and ordered a burger.We waited nearly half an hour and it wasn't even busy in there. The burger was horrendous! The bun was greasy, burger was over cooked, the lettuce was wilted and looked 10 days old and the chips were cold. Needless to say I wasn't happy and sent it back.I then chose the hunters chicken in replacement and that wasn't much better. That took another half an hour to come in which that time my husband has finished his food. The chicken was processed frozen you could tell by the shape of it and it was very watery, the waitress argued with me about it (what happened to the customer is always right?)I ate the chips and said I would leave the rest, the waitress then said she would refund me which I thought was nice sinse I didn't ask for a refund After waiting 15 mins I went to the bar and she refunded half of the money for my meal, slightly confused to why I didn't get the whole amount for my food back I just walked out.The service wasn't good and the waitress was dressed in Adidas jogging bottoms, not very smart. I personally think this place gives Greene King a bad name and it certainly wasn't upto Greene King standard. Would we return? Absolutely not.

We had a day off work today to look after our nephews, had heard some great reviews so thought we would try this pub. We went for some lunch and the boys loved it. There was a variety of food available for the us and the kids and at good prices. Food arrived within 15-20 minutes and the boys ate every mouthful. The staff made us all feel so welcome, made conversation with the boys, made sure our food was okay and showed us where the toy cupboard was which kept the kids entertained. Ended with some ice cream and chocolate cake! Amazing food and service! We will be back soon!
