We popped in on a Friday evening while visiting Nottingham. We loved the concept of this bar which encourages you to try different wines as I find I always tend to order the same type off the menu when out and about. The staff were friendly and accommodating, there was a good selection of different wines and the atmosphere was nice. Super easy to serve your own wine with an assigned card. Lovely place, we will definitely return when we are in Nottingham next time!

I'm not local to Nottingham anymore but when I do visit, I often go to this place because it's really good! Great atmosphere, good selection of wine with a wide range of prices and recently their cheese board is even better than before with a warm baguette and some extra bits. The staff are always welcoming.

Really liked this bar, they've picked up on a novel way to serve drinks. You open a tab up under your name and get a physical card to pay up at the end. The car doubles as the option to select a drink from the self service bar and this is all charged back to the card. No faffing about and the wines were excellent. Will definitely return!

Wow, hidden gem. You get a card to help yourself to wine then pay at the end. Also loved the fact they gave us nibbles free. Candles on the tables perfect for a romantic evening. Thankyou so much we will definitely be back. X

Excellent concept for a winery. Unfortunately they had no bread, biscuits or cheeses left, so we could not stay too long because otherwise we would have tried all the wines. Excellent attention and explanation by the waiters.

Lovely little self serve wine bar with a great selection of wines, and 50ml measures as an option so you can try ALOT without busting the bank (and my alcohol tolerance!). Definitely somewhere to visit when in Nottingham. More comfortable seating would be a great addition.

Always an amazing experience - even for a wine novice! If the weather's nice the outdoor area is a gorgeous spot for a few al fresco drinks, but equally in Autumn and Winter there's still a lovely cosy vibe inside. The staff always super welcoming, too!

First time visit yesterday. Really impressed with a good selection wines, great ambience and decor, and good Covid19 measures. Friendly and efficient service throughout - will be back again!

Pasamos una tarde maravillosa aquí ayer después de sentirnos muy deprimidos ya que dejamos a nuestra hija en la universidad por primera vez, mi esposo y yo encontramos esta pequeña joya, fuimos recibidos por la encantadora Hannah, nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos y fue tan encantador conocer a alguien tan apasionado por su trabajo, qué chica tan adorable, y Sam el dueño, qué lugar tiene, es simplemente increíble. Ojalá tuviéramos uno en Suffolk. Estaría allí todas las semanas, ¡nos encantó tanto que volvimos por la noche! ! ! Y sé que la próxima vez que esté en Nottingham para visitar a mi hija, este será mi pequeño lugar, ¡gracias a ambos por una experiencia maravillosa! ! Oh, y el queso era fantástico

The service is always incredible as well as the atmosphere.

Always a delight in this self service bar. I'm not a connoisseur of wine but always found a wine I enjoy. A real mixed bag of folks. With both indoor and outdoor seating. It's upstairs so could easily walk pased the door. Take a chance.

Simplemente me encanta este lugar. Podrías caminar fácilmente, pero una vez que subas las escaleras, es una oportunidad increíble para probar deliciosos vinos junto con un buen queso en un ambiente relajado. Gran jardín en la parte de atrás si quieres algo de aire o gente mirando por la ventana.

Quirky and not easy to find but it’s above the shops below. Nice and cosy with beer garden and a few nibbles.Get your own credit card to use on the wine dispensary.., novel and interesting with a good quality of wine. The chap in charge was very helpful too.

He estado aquí muchas veces y me di cuenta de que nunca lo había revisado.El concepto es fantástico, personalmente no me gusta tener una copa de vino grande con la que te quedas atrapado, así que esto es genial, puedo probar algunos diferentes y buenos precios.Hay algunos muy caros que no creo que necesiten.La tabla de quesos es genial, y el entorno es encantador.Creo que el personal podría estar un poco mejor, como si no supiera que hicieron tablas de queso a menos que pasara el cartel, etc.

El personal parecía aburrido cuando llegamos. Vinos encantadores pero necesita un poco más bajo. . . mayormente caro También necesita pan o aceitunas, papas fritas o nueces para despejar el paladar si se toma en serio el buen vino. Cuando tratamos de discutir esto con el personal, fueron indiferentes. Nos gustaría volver y verlo tener éxito, pero el personal necesita capacitación adecuada.

So easy to walk past this place, in fact, I have done over 100 times. But this is a gem! Great idea to have self service and I love how it’s controlled by the card. It’s a really nice vibe and the staff are very welcoming. Will definitely be going back.... often!

Recuerdo haber escuchado sobre la apertura de este lugar en ese momento e hice una nota mental para visitarlo en algún momento. El personal es extremadamente agradable y el ambiente con música de fondo, paredes desnudas y muebles casuales es ideal para una copa de vino relajante. Si hace buen tiempo, intente en la azotea. Como otros han mencionado anteriormente 'Es una joya escondida'.

Another? Wine Bar is a hidden gem on Trinity Square. I almost got lost first trying to find it. It is located in the not new buildings side of the square, you go through a door to upstairs and that's where the magic starts. First of all, the payment system. You arrive, tell them your name, you get a chip card, start sampling your wines, you finish and go to the till to settle he bill. Now the sampling your wine bit: you take aforementioned chip card, you go to a glass cabinet full of wine bottles. In the middle on the top, there is a slot for your chip card. Insert chip card, grab a glass from above the wine cabinet and you can choose from 3 portions: small unit for tasting (50ml), a slightly larger one for a bit more tasting (forgot how many mls) and large (125ml). While there are some really expensive wine where the large tasting sample will set you back 20 quid, there is a decent selection to choose from around 5 pounds, too. While many of you will say, 'hey, that's an expensive piss-up', I say this is wine tasting. Tap water is available FOC by the bottle and I think I did see bottled beer as well for those who just followed the wine drinking crowd of their friends. There is a terrace with its own tasting cabinet which can be enjoyed on warm summer evenings and several little break out rooms to have a convo with your companion(s) of choice for the evening over, say a Californian Zinfandel.

Lovely wine bar with a great selection to choose from. The self-service is great, staff friendly and the building full of character. We like it even better now the terrace has been finished, perfect in the summer.

Discovered it by chance when looking for Pre-Theatre drink. Great idea. When you go in you are give a wine credit card which you use in the wine machines. You can have a taster glass or larger glass. There are prices for everyone and some very good wines.Also has unexpected outside garden area. Lovely staff

Step into this hidden wine bar with lovely garden area. A real escape from the busyness of trinity square. Great wine selections and fab environment for sun downers.

Great place with self service wine. You get a card on entry which is then your tab and use it in the machines to serve a variety of wines. It's a nice quirky place within an old building and also has a garden at the back. I especially like the tiles in the toilets too.

Lovely concept, lovely staff, lovely wines, lovely to be in the sun outdoors in the heart of the city. Just needs a lot more greenery to make it an oasis of a city sun-trap.

I came here with my friends as we are red wine lovers! We were so surprised with the authenticity of the place and the fact that it looks and feels like a bar from France. We went to wine tastings in Paris and the style of self-service of great quality wines featured at this bar too, which was great to see!

Love this place. Hidden away near the corner House opposite montys bar this place is a little gem. On entry you get a card for your tab and then you get to self serve your wines (pretty cool). Great selection of whites when I went. Cosy seating and a nice outside area for when the sun's out. Not the cheapest drink but a little classier.

We were in Nottingham for the weekend and coincidently one of the national papers had written a review on this wine bar that day which prompted us to visit. We went in the early evening and found a table by the window but understand that the venue gets very full at times and they find it necessary to turn people away. It's a lovely formula where you help yourself to wine and the incredibly charming and helpful staff are on hand should you benefit from some recommendations. As good as the wine was the 3 cheeses selection which was truly delicious. Fortunately we're going back to the City later this year and will be able to return.

Another? is one of the growing trend of self service wine bars, where you basically get a card, and serve yourself a selection of wines (which can include tasters) at your leisure.

A group of 6 of us arrived for a friends birthday on a Saturday night. We were sadly told that there was no room for our party - understandable on a weekend - but then we were told there was no standing room to wait and no system in place to notify us when a table was available. This was a real let down as my friend was eager to attend for her birthday. We went across the road and spent money on about 3 or 4 rounds of drinks there instead.

Really nice looking little bar. Like being able to pick and pour my own wines and not have to queue for ages at a bar. However, have found on both occasions I have been that it can get quite busy around the wine dispensers. Could do with just a few more dispensers or to have them spaced out a bit more. Will be back!

A great selection of wine and cosy atmosphere

It’s the second time I’ve been to Another and the staff are friendly and helpful. There are some really nice wines but some of them are quite expensive. There’s lots of nice little places to sit in the bar and it’s quite cosy. You can only pay by card here which isn’t too much of an issue but they only tell you this when you go to pay. The only thing I didn’t like is that if there’s not enough wine left in the bottle, when you select a size glass to be poured out you won’t get it - you only get charged for the ml that go into your glass but it’s not nice just getting a little bit when you’ve decided how much you want.

I've been here twice with my boyfriend now and we're in love with this bar.

Interesting concept, basically self service. You get a credit card slide it into the wine cooler with your drink of choice, select the wine and the size of drink you want and presto it gets sucked out of the bottle and deposited into your glass, you pay by card (no cash apparently) before you leave. It's a bit of a faff if you are only going in for one drink and the first time it has to be explained so not ideal for a five minute guzzle better for a relaxed stop. The wine was nice, to be honest I'm a beer man unless I'm eating. But the beer selection was limited to three bottles. The prices reflect the quality so my Chablis Premier Cru was £9 for a medium size but other wines were less than a fiver. There was also the option for a small taster so you could spend a tenner and try five or six wines!

Tried out Another? Wine bar in the week with a friend and really enjoyed it, it was nice to go for wine somewhere a bit different - it’s quite novel to be able to choose what wine you’d like in such a way with the tab system. There’s a nice outside seating area or there’s a lot of seating inside too. Nice place.

A lovely venue for a relaxed drink of top quality wine

Interesting, inviting, welcoming - a totally different experience that delivers excellent service too. Having no Knowledge of what to expect, Amy was so welcoming and explained everything and instantly put us at ease. A great concept, an opportunity to sample a very good selection of wines for as little £ or as much as you want.

Me and my Wife have been here twice now. Love the layout, decor and quality of the place.

We visited early Saturday after having this place recommended and we were not disappointed. The concept is fantastic I spent a long time reading through the wines and trying different ones. We also had food and this complimented the wine phenomenally. It was the best cheese and meet board we have ever had and the mushroom pate is a reason to return in itself. Finally the staff, they are so helpful and always about should you need them.

Got a taxi into town tonight just to try this place out as the website and the sign on their door says open Sundays till 22:00. Arrives at 8pm to find the place shut. You just can not do this. If you advertise an opening time then you have to stick to it. People make plans. What if I had a party planned with friends? Fortunately it was only my wife and I that wasted our taxi fare. Well done 👌

A novel concept. You vet a card on entering, which is then used to access wine. There are some great wines and all have tasting notes. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about the wines. The room is quite cozy if a little small, although further space is available upstairs. The wines are quality and this is reflected in the price. It is very easy to spend more than you plan, while trying different wines.

Friendly staff will guide you through how self service wine works. Good choice of wine, great explanation as to it's characteristics, plus clear prices.......then help yourself! Really nice setting with what looked like a great garden but unfortunately it was a bit too cold to sit outside today. We can't wait to go back!

It was novel helping ourselves to drinks but easy to do. Prices were good as well. The location is great but anyone with mobility problems would struggle to get around.

I had a small gathering at another wine bar this weekend. Sam (owner) was a perfect host, relaxed atmosphere, food was spot on and wine was lovely. My friends and family had a great time and I will definatley be recommending this place to others! Thanks Sam! This place is a hidden gem and something that’s been missing from the city for a long time :-)

My husband and I came here with our family, it is unique as you can help yourself to wine. you ask for a card then you just insert in machine to get the wine and before you leave you hand the card back in and pay. They also sell beer and Champagne in a garden at the back. It is such a lovely place... All the staff were very helpful and very friendly...

Another has expanded with a prosecco garden which is as relaxing and fabulous as the bar.... I love this wine bar, staff are so helpful and knowledgeable, a great atmosphere and the choice of wines perfect. It’s the only place to unwind with friends after a day in the office.

Great idea the fact that you can "take" your own glass to the till and refill with new wine. Some wines are really good, but unfortunately not all of them. Further, ai think it may be slightly cheaper, considering that there is no table service.

Visited this bar with some Freinds last week and it was great. Awesome service, great choice of wine and really friendly staff.

We went here for drinks after doing a wine tasting course and it was a pleasant, cosy little venue which enabled us to carry on our evening free from the disturbance of a pub.
