Note - now known as Ambrosia Cafe but the receipt still says "Annyas". Stopped by for a quick lunch whilst busy in Inverness. Had the all day breakfast at £7.99 but held the toast and ordered extra bacon and extra egg - for just another 75p. Bargain! Clearly freshly cooked - nice moist tasty sausage, quality bacon and superbly cooked eggs (not overdone nor uncooked). Tasty black pud. Can't fault it. Just the thing to fill a hole - and I always love a good full English (or Scottish!) breakfast.

Great service and nice staff. If you are up for a quick but filling meal while enjoying the victorian Market, do stop by.

I popped in for a few bacons rolls and a cuppa. Tasted great. Handy being by the Train Station. Nice friendly staff.

I have popped into this place twice, the second time due to my first good experience. On both occasions I had 3 bacon rolls and a pot of tea. The staff are friendly and the service is quite prompt. The bacon rolls are nice, tasty bacon on nice soft rolls. Combine this with a nice pot of tea and it's a winner, which it was. I was in town on both occasions putting the car in the garage for work on it and walked into town for breakfast. If you are catching the train from Inverness Train Station especially in the morning it's really worth grabbing breakfast or a few bacond rolls from here at their hatch in the walll to take it away and eat it on the train. You will definitely not regret it.

Annya’s cafe is situated in the Victorian Market in the centre of Inverness. There is seating inside & outside, I sat outside. I had a mug of tea and a fruit scone with butter and jam. The tea was served with the teabag in the mug which was fine as that’s what I do at home, the scone was a bit disappointing even though it was warmed up. The service was pleasant and efficient.

A nice little cafe in the Victorian Market. We nearly tried the toasties but spotted the curry sauce and chips and it was recommended to us by the waitress and we were not disappointed. Members of the party were all pleased with their choices.

I agree with the other comments. It's a nice little place, great service and client care. Food is good and coffee too! Great for a little break in the day or if you are waiting for the train :)

Just passing and got a take-away Latte. Only £2 and very nice coffee, have to say it was a bit hot but a sensible price for an honest coffee! Didn't have food but whatever was cooking smelt great. This is a really nice little place and I've no idea what other reviewers are talking about.

We stopped for a coffee here: Sat outside and lady took order through a window, Ordered 2 lattes . They took a minute to come and looked delicious ,served in nice tall glass latte cups ..... Oh my! ..looks can be deceptive ! We took one sip looked at each other and said “ That’s disgusting , I’m not drinking that !” I wanted to say to the lady ,but husband declined as does not like a scene. We got up and left both glasses completely full ! What a waste of£4:80. Can’t explain what it tasted like .... a chemical sort of taste , but it certainly didn’t taste of coffee. Would not recommend and certainly won’t return.

Went for breakfast this morning, it was awful, the sausages were cheap, fatty and nasty tasting, the fried egg was over cooked and swimming in fat, the bacon was fatty and cheap, the menu states” meat come from local supplies “ despite the bad writing of the menu I got the impression that the meat was sourced locally, not meaning something out of the nearest spar shop, the coffee was undrinkable, cheap white bread smothered in cheap margarine and the cost was way over the top, never again

We found this lovely cafe in Inverness's Victoria Market today. It had lovely fresh food, generous portions, friendly staff and was very reasonably priced. Highly recommend it.

I came in to the Cafe to meet a friend but left after 5 minutes. The Scone was ok but the Juice was served in a dirty Glass and you can hear the Staff swearing behind the counter with the S and F words which didn't make the atmosphere more pleasant. So I decided to go with my friend somewhere else. With the right supervision and a eye for the detail and could be a great wee place.

Tucked away in the Victorian market is this lovely little cafe. The serving staff come to the table to take your order and are some of the friendliest staff I have come across. The food is freshly cooked and good portioned kids meals.

Called in when passing through Inverness. Had good service and food was well presented, so good overall. It's a cafe and all we wanted was a light snack and it did what it said on the tin.

Had breakfast here 3 times on a short visit to Inverness. It was always freshly made using prime ingredients. The Stornoway black pudding was delicious. The girl who was serving was very friendly and that also encouraged us to go back each day. Next time in Inverness, I would head there straightaway!

Although this cafe has great staff sadly the food is not always the same standard, last time we visited i had the full breakfast option which came with a sausage raw in the middle and a coffee like dishwater

No food on offer other than crisps, ice cream and a meagre offering of cake, shocked as we were there for a 1pm show and had travelled over an hour thinking we would be fine for lunch at the theatre. Staff were fine, no hint of getting things done in a timely fashion and not much interaction with customers. Decor is depressing, such a big space makes it cold and echoey. Just no atmosphere whatsoever. Very disappointed and won't be back.

We stayed at this Inn/Hotel at the beginning of November, returning home we received an email asking us to review our stay. This we did by email, however, we did not receive a reply nor did we receive a reply to our follow up copy email, which I now type below. "Many thanks for your email, usually we send a report good or bad to Tripadvisor, as you have asked for feedback I am happy to share our thoughts with you initially. I have an email from you confirming our reservation from the 4th to the 8th November, 2024 in a Garden Room. This was because we have a dog and thought this would be an easier option should she need to go outside. When we arrived we had NOT been booked into a Garden Room for our five nights, as per your confirmation. We were offered a garden room for 3 nights and two other nights elsewhere within the hotel. I really did not feel changing rooms, packing and unpacking for two nights was a good idea, so we opted to stay again in Room 111 for the five night stay. I am sure you will agree, this was not a good start to our holiday. I spoke to another couple who had also booked a garden room only to find they too had been misallocated a room and these long established customers were very upset and vowed not to return next year for their 8th year. I feel it necessary to draw to your attention the lack of servicing for Room 111. Each day our duvet was "just turned over at the top", the bottom sheet was not straightened and the pillows were as we had arisen, not even straightened and aligned. The cleanliness in the bathroom left much to be desired. As I am sure you are aware there is no toilet brush next to the lavatory. The toilet was not cleaned throughout our stay and the bowl after five nights was turning a light shade of brown, however, diligent attention was paid to folding and making the spare toilet roll and the one for use look pretty. I would have preferred a clean toilet. This takes me on to the bath. On arrival there was a single long dark hair in the bath, as we did not use the bath and both have grey hair, this was still there when we left!! The shower doors require a thorough clean and polish, there is black mould on the wall and around the base of the shower. During our stay this was NOT cleaned at all. Mould and Mildew spray with a toothbrush would solve this problem. Likewise the wash hand basin was neglected. No dusting or vacuuming was carried out in the room for the duration of our stay. For your information I left a piece of cotton and a clean tissue on the floor and they were not picked up. When we had dinner in the bar area dogs were quite welcome. However, in the morning we did feel rather like second class citizens as we were with other dog owners required to use the alternative dining room, which was uninviting and a long way from the self-service area in the breakfast room. On two days for breakfast we were along with four other owners with dogs, allowed to use the breakfast room. No explanation was given for the flexible rule. To end on a good note, the staff were pleasant and helpful, always willing to assist in anyway they could. It is with interest I await your response. " On our next trip to Scotland we shall stay elsewhere.
