Anne's Pantry in Chelmsford

I was at a cycling event this weekend with Anne’s Pantry serving food all day. Anne was lovely to deal with and the food was great. An amazing alternative to a generic burger van. Can highly recommend them as I had 5 meals from them over two days, all delicious and served with a smile and friendly chat.

Just eaten at Anne’s pantry in the market and didn’t regret it. Had a Salt beef bagel and will definitely be going back again . The staff were friendly and efficient and the place was very clean . The bagel was fresh and the salt beef, warm ,juicy and plentiful. A pleasure. It’s in the market so expect no frills but it’s sure to become a regular for me. Throughly enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to trying their bread pudding next time. Recommend.

Parked near Homebase, only been the once as I am abroad a lot, turned up at Homebase feeling hungry saw the van and popped over only to find had just finished, I think Annie could see I was starving so managed to make up a bowl for me, really nice rice dish and what made it better she did not charge me, will be back soon and will try and get there earlier, hope the pot plant is still doing well.

Anne's Pantry is a hidden gem tucked away in chelmsford, she serves all fresh homemade food from cuisines all over the globe out of a quinte little mobile cafe. Anne and her husband are so friendly and clearly have a passion for making good tasting food at honest prices to everyday people. The quality of the food is so good and so fresh you would not believe they make it all out such a small little cafe. the portion sizes are nice and big just they way they should be makes you feel you get a good bang for your buck! Anne catered for a wedding i attend also recently and i was so pleased to see her there Mobile cafe and all, i knew that with her cooking the food it was going to be and amazing and she did not disappoint. thats salad was fresh, the potato salad was divine and the currys later to die for. cant wait to go visit her again soon as the wife and i are never disappointed.
