Anima in North Devon

Phenomenal food, which is exceptional value for money. A real treasure for Braunton and North Devon. Having eaten in Michelin starred restaurants, I can honestly say this was far better. Wonderful flavours. Very elegant food which was not stuffy or pretentious. The service was delightful. Will definitely be visiting again and would encourage anyone local or visiting the area to give it a visit. Thank you!

Great food, relaxed atmosphere, would definitely recommend for couples friends and adult family dining. I/we would say Anima is for a special treat but talking with the amazing chef Carla and her very welcoming front of house Georgia they are planning to offer various interesting menus next year. This is fabulous news for Brauton and the surrounding area as Anima will be a real asset to North Devon dining experiences. We take are hats off to you ladies making this brave step and look forward to following you guys on this exciting journey. Rich & Caroline x

Excellent & mind-blowing tastes going on from start to finish. One of Braunton Village’s newest eateries delivers with nice warm greeting & atmosphere. Had Devon crab as a starter which was enhanced with apple and light sauce made somewhere in heaven. Followed by duck which was cooked to perfection with very unique pate & pastry supplements truly special dish. Desert was a dense chocolate gnache . All in all , this was a fabulous meal supplemented with an interesting wine-list. We shall be back.

Where to start? 😍 The experience was simply outstanding from start to finish! Anima you have blown me away with your delectable local cuisine and delicious cocktails! Every course was truly scrumptious and well presented and the cocktails were to die for! The whole team was very attentive and friendly and nothing was too much for them. Some lovely mood lighting too which made our date feel very intimate and romantic along with some great music and fresh flowers on our table. Will definitely be returning for our date night very soon 🍽🍸. Thank you 👌🏼

By far the best meal I've ever had. I will be returning in the near future. It was outstanding from start to finish. 5* from us! Great food, great drinks & the best customer service . I'd highly recommend
