Good traditional chips, decent curry sauce and always hot! Can’t fault the place

Issue with initial delivery. (neighbour nabbed it) But they where pleasant when informed and sorted me out. The food was worth the extra time. Overall a satisfying experience.

The food was good and hot this time. We have previously had deliveries that were almost cold. They need to ensure that meals are delivered quickly.

When order arrived the order was wrong was missing dinner meat and chips and the dip. When I called to let them know we had to wait over a hour for them to bring missing items.

Food wasn't good at all, I didn't have salt or vinegar on anything and unbelievably salty food to the point its inedible. Tarter sauce, salty and dry... mushy peas... salty and dry. Gravy was like concrete/overly thick and unpleasant....also so salty. It was like eating sea water everything I tried, baring in mind I didn't ask for salt or vinegar. We couldn't even finish the food...won't be ordering again. Really unpleasant, for the amount they charge feel like I've been mugged and swallowed a mouth of sea water.

not happy should have been 2x mixed meat but didn't get any chicken in either also said no onion and it had onion all over it.

Food was nice and kids meal was generous portion but ordered a chicken meat and chips and just got a tray of chicken meat with no chips so don’t think a regular chicken meat portion is worth the £9.60 I paid. Probably wouldn’t order again.

Gorgeous chips! Really tasty and hot. The cod bite was two mini fish and very tasty. Battered sausages also a winner. Will be ordering here again as it’s so hard to find a good chippy that doesn’t break the bank these days! Hope the good standard and service continues.

The food is still nice, but it's half an hour past the end of the projected delivery time, and is lukewarm at best.

We always use angelos but last two orders have been late. From ordering to arrival tonight took about an hour and half. Food not as good as usual. Not as hot and fish batter not very crispy. Really disappointing after so many good meals.

The worst meal I've ever had from Angelos! They are normaly amazing but the chicken kebab meat was so salty i could'nt eat it and the chips were so soggy and cold. Not impressed.

Awful. Decided I'd give this place another chance tonight, previous order was pretty disgusting a few weeks ago. Had kebab meat, chips and garlic mayo tonight. Meat was cold, chewy and dry, chips were pale and the garlic mayo was just really horrible. Very close to taking back but cba

Great! The lovely chips have returned! Great Mexican pizza too. All very enjoyable, and arrived early, and all hot.

This used to be our go to place but recently it's gone done hill, thought we would give it another go. Unfortunately everything was cold, no chilli on kebab meat and salad and portions getting smaller. How you can charge nearly £10 for a bit of salad and a small portion of kebab meat, i do not know! Shame because it used to be excellent. sorry not going to waste our money anymore.

Delighted to find today's large cod had indeed gone large again, after a period of getting smaller. Fab fresh fish with a lovely batter. Chips were nice enough. All arrived hot and early.

First thing, the food is good and my workplace prefer Angelo's over nearer chippys. But, every time I order online, the order is mixed up with sauces missing from kebabs or no salt and vinegar on chips. And this is after I've entered such detail into the required section. Come on Angelo's, sort it out.

The kebab meat and chips were amazing from here before it got taken over! We ordered the same last night and it was disgusting! The meat was rubbery and tasted of plastic! Garlic mayo was foul! I couldn’t eat it at all. Needless to say the lot went in the bin!!!

Food gone extremely down hill. Since it been taken over! Chips hard in the middle. Fritter was raw! Chicken meat was clearly off a bbq chicken drumstick! Absolutely awful won't be ordering again

Sour faced service - no eye contact - not polite. Noinformation about the order. I thought I was waiting for fresh product, I was actually waiting for them to be arsed to pack it. 🙃 gravy was jellied.

Let down by missing item so we have had to sort an alternative meal out for our grandson. Come on Angelos get your act together

Quick delivery - only issue was fish bites. Were rock hard. Didn’t taste fresh sadly so 3/5.

super tasty pizza and box salad,

Took 1 hour 30 minutes to arrive from order which in itself is crazy for a Thursday night. The food was room temperature which says it had been sat for a while. The chips looked like the scraps from the bottom of the fryer and the popcorn chicken I couldn’t believe how much they charge for such a poor portion and mainly batter and barely any chicken. Not great experience at all.

I missed a couple of phone calls from the driver struggling to find the delivery address yet it still arrived early, was still hot and still delicious

Our goto place for takeaway. We live a few miles away and is so much better than the chippies around here. The prices are fair and they have good portion size. We've never had a bad meal yet! Thankyou to all at Angelos.

This is hands down our favourite chippy - the foods always tasty and the staff are absolutely lovely

normally realltly good how ever got fish cakes instead of fish bites rang and asked for new meal which was great for the restuarnt sent just the fish bites and did not replace whole meal very dissapointed

90p for some ketchup - why would you rip off your own customers like that?

Worse fish ever dry and batter inedible been standing and then reheated for £10,and I had to go down to the driver reluctant to get out his car

I placed an order and received a completely wrong order, I then spoke to the restaurant and they sent another wrong order. When the right order came the food was disgusting and made me vomit. I will never eat from this place again. It used to be delicious food :(

New Owner is very rude, the food quality has gone downhill terribly. STAY AWAY!!

Used to be really friendly but seems to have gone downhill, chips not as good with lots of shrapnel and last time we pre-ordered to collect it had clearly been sitting there for ages by the time I was told to collect so into the microwave it went.

Best haddock again cooked to perfection, I rate the food in my top 5, not greasy and sides

Excellent service, with delivery direct to my flat door. The food was hit. delicious and there was plenty of it.

First time disappointed, having always given 5 stars before. Driver was unable to understand the simple instruction of "leave inside porch". Food delivered on time and still quite hot. However, the large cod was half the size it used to be, but still tasty, but the chips were just unpleasant this time, rubbery and tasteless.

I ordered a Regular portion of Chips and a Battered Sausage. Chips are disgusting over cooked and crispy and Battered Sausage was burnt. This was on Saturday night. Do you give some food like that!!!

I ordered a mixed kebab meat and chips for my partner and i to share (as they are normally huge) except the chips didnt come. I phoned the shop and explained and the lady on the phone sorted it for me to have the chips delivered to us and less than 10 minutes later we were enjoying or full (very large) meal and very haooy about it. we understand accidents happen but we fully enjoyed our food.

asked via just eat help for text update with regards to status of order. Didn't receive anything. Food barely aired when arrived. Until now have had good service but this was awful. Nearly 50 minutes after alerted to say delivery on way to it arriving, I could of walked and collected it in that time.

ordered chicken strips and chips as a meal got no chips rang up to be told we can send chips but be about 30mins said no ty so don't think we be going here again really bad service now

Went for a Mexican pizza this time. It was great and arrived hot, on time. Still wishing they had a thin crust option though.

Ordered today as I thought me and my partner had a good experience getting takeaway delivered yesterday, however the driver called me and told me to “wait for them” outside while they came back around to park somewhere. I then waited for 20 minutes in the 2°C cold after which I got a call from this place telling me to cancel the order because it’s “too far”, I explained that the driver told me to wait for them and that we ordered yesterday and distance wasn’t a problem yesterday but I got the same response. The person helping me on the phone was lovely and seemed confused as well but I’m very disappointed.

The pizza was hot and delicious. However, I ordered a garlic base but was give a tomato base. I ate it as I was hungry and it was tasty!

Lovely food, as always. Great portions and order arrived early and hot. Loving the chicken meat with crunchy fresh salad and the special kebab bread. Only slight disappointment this time was that the gravy for my partner's pie was extremely thick, a bit tangy, and thus not as enjoyable as usual.

Food ok but not very hot. Stopped using for a while as delivery times were bad. Decided to try again and delivery was still as bad. Won't be using again

Food was only warm when it arrived so it went very cold very quickly, wasn’t enjoyed and it didn’t seem very fresh.

Cod and chips are really delicious. We've ordered them about five times now and they are consistently brilliant, 5 stars.

Unfortunately order not complete as cone of chips missing and we payed for them.

I have ordered a fish and chips and a small pepperoni pizza both of them were swimming in oil and the fish had no taste

They forgot to include the chips I had ordered, and when I rang up to complain they refused to bring these even though I’d paid for them! Burger was cold on arrival. Poor.
