We used the restaurant with friend for Saturday dinner, breakfast & Sunday carvery as we were e staying at the holiday village. For dinner I had Wiltshire ham fried eggs and chips, with a side of coleslaw and soft drinks. My wife had chicken curry All tasted very good indeed. Breakfasts , full English etc were equally tasty although they were short staffed throughout and some of the help your self-items e.g. toast & coffee were not replenished regularly enough . Great value for money though & Sunday carvery very tasty . The young ladies who served us were again polite & responded well to pressures .Overall very good

Very disappointed with Sunday lunch yesterday. It appears to have gone downhill since the chefs and regular servers (Sandie, Christopher añd Luke) have left. Swede has been lumpy and watery. Yesterday swede was not even mashed, just served diced and the cauliflower cheese looks abysmal (very dry).

As we staying at the holiday village it was convenient to have dinner and breakfasts here. For dinner each of us had Wiltshire ham fried eggs and chips, with a side of coleslaw and soft drinks. The young ladies who served us were so polite, friendly and helpful-great customer service. Very much recommend this restaurant

Love the carvery here on Sundays! Always delicious with lots to choose from. Great value too! The service is really friendly and it’s a nice atmosphere - one of my favourite places to take the grandparents for an easy Sunday roast. We enjoy the holiday-park feel to the site and going for a pint and a game of pool or darts in the bar after suits us perfectly :) We’re so glad to have discovered Angelina’s!!! Thanks!

We went for the Sunday carvery. The food was fantastic with a choice of 3 meats, beef, turkey and pork (I had a slice of each) and proper roast potatoes not insipid and looking like they haven't seen inside the oven. The staff were so helpful, welcoming and friendly. I will definately be going back.

We’d booked a table for 11 for Sunday lunch carvery. The visit didn’t get off to the best start when I went to the bar to order some drinks. There was only one customer there waiting to be served, but no sign of any staff. Apparently the barman was changing a barrel - fine, no problem. After a few minutes he reappeared and continued serving the other customer. In the meantime another couple came to the bar. Eventually a second member of staff appeared to serve and asked who was next. Both the barman and other customer pointed to me. The second member of staff then proceeded to serve the couple that had just appeared. Okay, so perhaps she misunderstood. But after serving them, then just disappeared again, ignoring me. So after about five minutes of waiting I had still not been served, despite there being only one customer waiting. Having finally got some drinks, we went to queue up for the food. My wife isn’t vegetarian, but will often choose a vegetarian dish. When she asked about the vegetarian option she was told in no uncertain terms that they don’t cater for vegetarians so unless it had been preordered there wasn’t an option. I’ve been vegetarian for about 35 years. The last time I ate anywhere that didn’t offer at least one vegetarian option was…about 35 years ago. One vegetarian meal had been ordered so the staff member went to find it. She reappeared a few minutes later with a plate which was then just plonked at the far end of the serving area - not handed to me or brought over. She then disappeared. It was shame she didn’t have a name badge because I’d happily name and shame for her terrible approach to customer service. My nine year niece had, naturally a child’s portion, and was told that children could only have three vegetables. However, she didn’t want any of the meat on offer, but despite not having meat was still only allowed three vegetables. Not great value, and fairly contrary to the general attempts to encourage healthy eating. The rest of the food was, mostly over cooked and not particularly tasty, but at the price perhaps not surprising. The meal itself was just a microwaved nut roast, so absolutely no reason why this needed to be pre-booked. And nut roast? It’s not the 1990’s anymore, there are other things to eat that aren’t meat. Overall, a fairly bland experience made worse by the terrible staff attitude.

Another great visit for Sunday lunch. Great food, very tasty. We are frequent visitors here, we love it, great value . There is always a great choice of veg and the meat is always tasty although it does depend on who is slicing the meat as to how much you get and the plates are small. Staff great , always polite and friendly. Angelina’s never disappoints whether it’s eat in or take away we love it.

Brilliant staff and food. We had the special Christmas lunch today. Normal carvery plus some extras included such as free prosecco on arrival, dessert, crackers, pigs in blankets etc but the real highlight was the staff, 5 or 6 young ladies all with a smile on their face and very friendly. Thank you ladies you made a good lunch excellent.

The Sunday carvery is nowhere as good as it used to be. The roast potatoes & parsnips were over cooked and dry, and the rest of the veg was not very tasty. The swede & mashed potato mixed seemed only to be potato, and the gravy, which was always the jewel in the crown, was bland.

Angelina's in a restaurant at 'Warren Holiday Village', just outside of Clevedon, in the village of Kenn. There's ample free parking and the restaurant is large and bright, with plenty of space between the tables. The clientele seemed to be regulars, in the main, and predominantly composed of the senior stratum of society. This meant that moving around, getting one's food took a little while. It also means that it's quite a noisy place to eat. To be fair, this is true of the majority of carveries, and everyone was very cheerful. The food is very good - there was beef, ham and turkey, all of which were lean, and, I'm told, tasted great. I'm vegetarian, so we'd booked ahead (as one has to) for a nut roast. It was the best nut roast I've had in my 15 months of vegetarianism, by a fair distance. Really moist and tasty and topped with a circle of goats cheese, which gave a great depth of flavour and a variety of textures. The vegetables were good too - ok roast potatoes, good sweet corn, carrots, peas and cabbage. Also cauliflower cheese with leeks, which is a great idea that I'd never considered. There is a maximum of one Yorkshire pudding per person, which seems pedantic, given that the plates aren't huge so if you had two, there'd be no room for veg, but I imagine it's so they don't run out. The gentleman carving the meat deserves 'mention in dispatches' for his friendly manner and immense patience. A lady in front of me was, quite frankly, 'a special flower' who indicated, by pointing, which precise pieces of meat she'd like, and then rejected minute portions of them as being below par - despite them being perfectly lean and apparently identical to the meat she deemed acceptable. This took about four minutes, and the carver served her with smiling equanimity, gave her a plate and some extra meat for her 'small child who's not eating but would like to try some' and sourced the moon on a stick a one hundred mattresses (without a pea) for her to sleep on. OK, I made the last two up, but he was a star and treated her with absolute, unhurried courtesy while I would have cheerfully strangled her with her own intestines. Because it is very much a repeat business venture, it wasn't easy for us to work out the form as 'first timers'. If you're considering a visit, here are the things it would have been useful to know in advance:1) As mentioned above, if you're vegetarian you have to let them know in advance.2) When you queue up to let them know you've arrived, you should buy tickets for your meal. £10.95 for large, £7.95 for small. I didn't know to do this, so had to queue twice.3) There is a bar, but it's not easy to find - or I'm unobservant (equally likely). There's a door to the left of the food - go through that and they'll sell you booze.4) Again, if you're vegetarian, you'll need a tray: the nut roast and veggie gravy boat fill up the plate, so there's no room for trimmings.

I have been here maybe half a dozen times for Sunday Lunch which is a carvery. The food is always great, good selection of meats to choose from and all the usual trimmings, roasts, Yorkshires, veg, sauces and gravy. Desserts are always good as well and drinks are fairly priced. My only complaint is the size of the plate. It's on the small size, and I get why, because it's a carvery and buffet and you only get one visit, but in order to have a decent meal you have to pile stuff up and than makes too much of a mixture on your plate. I know, if the plates were bigger, greedy people would take more and there would be waste. If bigger plates aren't an option, I would suggest allowing second visits for veg and gravy.

Personally, I would prefer it if they didn't play anything. It was recommended by someone and I was rather impressed with the size of the place!, it’s huge!, it was obviously busy cos of Mother’s Day but got my carvery to table within 15 minutes. I was very impressed with the food quality and quantity of meat. Very good indeed I will return very soon to see what it’s like on a normal weekend. Plenty of free parking, plenty of space between tables and friendly staff and chef. Highly recommend this carvery but you need to book. Its local to me and I’ve tried all the local carveries and its up there in the top 5 ! Think it was £10 ish. The food is always good, well cooked and hot which is great for a carvery, and not always the case at some other places I have been. Drinks are very reasonably priced which is great. Myself and 2 friends had booked a get together for Sunday lunch a couple of Sundays ago . As a vegetarian , my vegetarian meal was requested at time of booking a week or so previous . We allPaid for our meals and I reminded them that I was vegetarian . After about 10 mins of sitting at our table , we decided to go up for our food . I informed the person in charge of the meat section I was vegetarian ... he went off to the kitchen and came back saying that my vegetarian option wasn't ready , that they didnt know about it , and would take about 20 mins ( when I asked how long it would take ) . My friends got their food ( which I insisted they did ) After I thought about it , I decided I would cancel my order , as I had wanted to eat with my friends , not on my own! I eventually got someone to refund my money , of which she made me feel I was putting her out .... there was no apology and no interaction from her , and she made me feel very insignificant ! Awful , awful service and treatment of customers, when clearly they can't do their job properly! They need to know how to deal with their customers when they fail at doing their job . I won't be recommending Angelina's !

Not a huge choice in menu, but there was a couple of vegetarian options. Didn't have to wait long for food but it wasn't busy either time we visited whilst staying at the Holiday Village. Friendly staff. Food was nice and well presented.

Good Sunday Carvery which is good value, just the job if you don't want to bother cooking the Sunday Roast!

good food. service can be slow menu a bit limited and not all options were available. Breakfast very good but resent paying for extras especially when you have removed some items. fairer to swap!

We had an overnight stop at Warrens Village and decided to have dinner at Angelina's as i didn't want to drive any more. We expected a fast food type place, overpriced as on many holiday camps. How wrong we were!! We had beautifully cooked steak and gammon with all the trimmings and fabulous home made battered onion rings. The chips came in a separate dish as there wasn't room on the plate. We had to wait a while but this was because the food was freshly cooked The price was reasonable too.The restaurant itself was lovely and clean with crisp white cotton and pastel coloured cotton table cloths and the waitress was really polite and helpful. Will definitely eat there again

Never fails to impress. We haven't been for a while so pleasantly surprised to find the restaurant slightly altered, seems more roomy, much nicer feel to the place. The carvery is delicious, the meats cooked to perfection and a big selection of vegetables. The staff always very friendly. We always love visiting Angelina"a and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a delicious Sunday roast. Fabulous

This must be the 5th time we have visited Angelinas for Sunday lunch. This time with family visiting from Cornwall, who thought that it was the best roast they had tasted. Well done all of you and keep it up !

6 of us ate here on Easter Sunday. Restaurant came highly recommended. Table was ready when we arrived at 3pm and restaurant was extremely busy with a really good atmosphere. You have to pay for carvery in advance and receive a ticket which you take up to the chef. At first glimpse everything looked delicious. We served ourselves but once we sat down we realised that the gravy had been burnt. Staff were very apologetic and told us to go straight back up. Unfortunately by the time we went back they had run out of cauli cheese and mash and as was towards end of service was not being replaced. The food that we did eat was excellent and think definitely worth another chance.

Good points: Good selection of 'ordinary' fare on the menu, food very well cooked, good sized portions, very friendly waitress, very large so never too busy, onion rings the best on earth, be sure to order them!. Bad points: Uninspiring exterior and entrance area, no aircon and no formal outdoor seating so uncomfortably hot in humid weather, dated décor, grilled meat choices slightly overcooked, slightly expensive for the type of food on offer.

We googled "Best Sunday Carvery" and up came Tripadvisor reviews of Angelinas. Must admit we were a little sceptical as Holiday Parks are rarely renowned for good quality catering. Running the risk that the good reviews were all made up by friends and family, we arrived. The food was absolutely first class. The chef was extremely friendly and helpful, as were all of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and portions were huge. The chef was keen to ensure that we had enough meat and kept asking if we had enough. The vegetables were freshly cooked and the cauliflower cheese was out of this world. The only let-down was that we ate so much carvery that we had no room to try the wonderful looking desserts. We were planning on returning again last week, but arrived back too late from a trip away. We will definitely return ...... please Angelinas .... don't change anything.

OH MY GOD, this Sunday Carvery is amazing, no skimping on anything the gentleman/chef/owner? who was serving the meats asks everyone he served 'is that enough' in a very pleasant manner - which in most places, if that's it, that's it, you get that 'look' if you dare to ask for more but not at Angelina's x Not sure if this is the normal but last Sunday there was Turkey, Ham, Beef and Pork, roast potatoes, boiled skin-on potatoes, massive yorkshires (which were a bit hard but understandable as under heat lights) peas, corn, parsnips, mashed turnip, cabbage, carrots, AMAZING cauliflower cheese, oddles of gravy, apple sauce, mint sauce, cranberry sauce, bread sauce? (not sure don't like beef so didn't have the sauce) cost 9.95 each, we had fair plate full and were stuffed and very happyThe only thing i didn't appreciate was the dark haired waitress was helping an old lady with her dinner as she was using a walking stick and struggling to walk with a stick and a plate, so quite nicely the waitress helped and added to the plate all that the lady requested, however, when she got to the gravy she put too much on, so pour some back into the gravy bin and wiped the edge of the lady's plate with her finger and then licked her finger - ewwwww - not that it affected the lady's plate, but it didn't look very good :( but on the grand scale of things it was a minor as the lunch was a MAJOR THUMBS UP - keep up the good work guys will definitely be back and spreading the word amongst friends BIG TIME!I believe they close at 4pm, but they were still topping up the veggies at 3pm rather than the usual 'that's all we have' attitude that you get in some 'chain caveries'

The restaurant is on a holiday park, Warrens Village in Colehouse Lane. The entrance to the park can be a little off putting but as I have a friend who is a resident I did not allow this to put me off.The restaurant is in the centre of the site and is instantly visible as you drive in. It is clean and modern inside and has a very pleasant atmosphere. On Sunday there is a carvery with four types of meat to choose from. Pork, beef, turkey and gammon. The best thing is that all the vegetables are fresh, not frozen, always hot no matter what time you go and the cauliflower cheese is as good if not better than any thing you could prepare at home. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We have been here around a dozen times and never been disappointed. Monday to Saturday evenings meals are served and the menu offers a good choice. The portions are a good size and I find it difficult to finish all my meal.I urge you to give this place a try as the meals out shine any other local carvery or pub meal we have tried. We always go a little late on Sundays as that is when it quietens down a little. We usually have the pork and gammon. With crackling of course. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

Just over a year since last review and we have enjoyed another splendid Sunday lunch. Four types of meat to choose from, and between the 2 of us we tried them all. No complaints at all, friendly staff, very fair price and above all, lovely food. Word is getting out! Left it late to book so we could not get in until 2 o'clock, but well worth the slight wait.

Returning to Clevedon after a very long time it was a bit odd to find ourselves back on Hill Road (but that is the weird emotional bit out of the way). We were a bit peckish so popped into the cafe. Had not planned to end up going for the full breakfast - but we did (one vegetarian and one meat). Gosh. They were massive. I was on the meat one, but I simply could not finish it! A first. The Good Lady had to have a piece of my toast + and egg + tomato. (A piece of bacon was scurried out in a serviette). So value-for-money, to me, it was right up there. Admittedly, and looking at other reviews, I might agree that the staff seemed quite new/a little lost at times. Not sure if there is perhaps lots of turnover but they did seem to be struggling at times. Courteous though. We felt very reasonably priced.

We popped in for lunch, sadly the kitchen was being refurbished BUT, when we said oh dear, and could he recommend somewhere and also be able to park the car, he said, no problem, just leave the car here and made various alternative suggestions. We went round town, had some lunch and of course went back for a lovely gin at about 3:00. Great old fashioned service.
