Dropped in for a coffee for my wife and I, slow service and the coffee, well disappointed £3:40p for each cup, a third was full of Froth, and looking at the menu, the prices were well expensive compared to other establishments within The Mall shopping precinct.

Drinks fine ..food ok ..shame the free drink you get when you've collected enough loyalty stamps has shrunk! Seems a bit mean to me ..

Went with a friend for afternoon tea with a voucher. Both of us are fairly frequent customers, so were looking forward to it. Staff friendly as usual and we were told we could have as much coffee or tea as we wanted. Great. Cake stand was delivered to our table. The sandwiches were very nice and really fresh. We both expected scones, but I think they were rock cakes and, boy were they rock! Took quite an effort to cut them before adding the cream and jam. The chocolate cake was really nasty and stale, while the strawberry gateau (?) was edible, just. Summing up - could do better.

Visited bexleyheath to have a look around the shops. Arrived pretty early and had not eaten anything in the morning. I decided to go to this cafe which was situated inside another shop called Morley’s. I took one look at the food near the counter and found a bacon and sausage roll costing nearly £5. I nearly had a heart attack. I thought wow it didn’t exactly look like anything special, either way that was not what I was looking for. I then noticed they did a breakfast where you had the option of either 6 items or 8 items. I opted for the 8 items. As always when a breakfast includes meat I ask for it to be well done and although usually they have it prepared I spoke with the lady at the till who asked the chef if they would be able to quickly flash it a little in the pan. They said they would do it. All the cutlery and condiments were on top of a cabinet for customers to help themselves. Breakfast came within about 5 mins. So not a long wait. The cost was £ I was very surprised with the quality. Although yes you may be able to get breakfast else where for £6, I found this breakfast in particular was just right for an individual. Not too heavy on the stomach and not greasy which you do not find in your general local cafes. The bacon and sausage were perfect for what I asked for. The lady who was at the till seemed to be friendly and I am guessing many locals came here because they interacted with her well. The place was clean and fresh and when I had finished the till lady came to speak to me and was very sweet I could tell that was just her character. Customer service from her was fantastic and I shall definitely return. Lovely little spot.

I've visited here before, love the rock cakes and soups. Today I had just been for an eye examination and was slightly blind, Mickael, the man that served me ,was so kind, and saw that I was struggling, He offered to carry my tray, what a lovely kind man, and great service too.

Long wait to get a coffee given cafe 1/4 full. It’s staff cleaning store making lots of noise wheeling rubbish bins about sweeping the floor. No customer welcome or customer service felt uncomfortable. Real shame given great surroundings and decoration.

I am a regular and went to Angelica’s today, queued 20 minutes only to be told when I got to the service till that they had no sandwiches and no chicken panini’s today. Quite frankly they didn’t have a lot of anything, and it wasn’t because they had sold out, just didn’t have the stock. Absolutely ridiculous letting people queue without having a notice up to state they didn’t have certain items. They could easily have something they could cover the menu with or put up a hand written sign for people to see, instead of wasting their time. It is really so poorly organised that it’s chaotic, they really need to get their act together if they want to keep customers. They must realise that this week would be busy for them, yet they didn’t have the stock, very poor way of running a cafe when they have so much competition.

My eyes lit up when I saw the offering of Turkey, Brie & Cranberry toasted sandwich (plus chips & coleslaw). The 'turkey' was just the tasteless, thinly sliced gelatinous sort of sandwich meat you get in supermarket packs - obviously reclaimed & reformed - cheapest of the cheap. There was evidence of brie - by virtue of it sticking the ham to the bread; unfortunately the only flavour it added was salt. The cranberry sauce totally obliterated any other taste - it might as well have been offered up as a jam sandwich. It also made the bread soggy. Underwhelming, stingy with the ingredients, very poor value for money. On the basis of this experience, I will never go there again; and would discourage anybody who fancies trying it.

Although food is nice it is not cheap, therefore when you order a portion of chips you expect a full portion. When the food eventually arrived I was disgusted by the lack of chips provided in the round pot, it could not have been one potato’s worth. Won’t be ordering chips if I visit Morley’s cafe again, I know things are tough but people expect value for money not poor portions.

I have been coming to this charming tearoom since it opened. A little gem away from the normal hustle and bustle of Bexleyheath. However today was very much a big disappointment. I would NOT recommend the rather pricey breakfast, at £6.90 the bacon was like a thin piece of cardboard, the egg was not soft as asked and the toast was like crisp bread. I did go back and speak to the waitress regarding the bacon and asked for it to be an edible fresh piece, I waited less than a minute for another piece to be brought to my table only for it to be exactly the same. When I said to the waitress this was unedible and not acceptable, she exclaimed I will let the chef know and marched off!! I saw her at the till not even speak to the chef. Awful to be left with the greasy example of what was once a piece of bacon. If you want customers to return, this is no way in which to behave. I feel that the once lovely Angelicas is slipping into not caring what they serve. Having worked in catering for a long time I would not dream of serving this to anyone.

We have friends who go here for coffee so thought we would give it a try, never again. If you only want a hot drink it is fine, but we foolishly ventured in the the realm of food, nothing complicated just a simple bacon and tomato sandwich, simple it certainly was and meagre. Two lightly toasted small slices of bread, containing two tiny pieces of bacon and and two slices of tomato and all for the princely sum of £4.30. It was more than paltry and if there had not been a long queue I would have returned it. So a lesson learnt, if you are even slightly hungry go somewhere else.

First time my wife and I plus my 2 yr old daughter has visited the Cafe and won't be in hurry back unless they start selling toilet roll and petrol. On first glance, aestheticlly the venue seems to be pleasing to the eye. Clean, spacious and what you would expect from a Morleys Cafe. Coffee and hot chocolate was fab but the cooked breakfast was something that you would expect from a back street alley in "Benidorm" cooked by a chef that has followed a cook book on how to make a full english breakfast. Presentation was slap dash, bacon was stale - left on the hot plate and plated on an ad hoc basis, to be honest it shouldnt really have been served. The actual food presented was spread out on the oversized plate that covered approx 30% of the plate. Now I get the decor and ambience of the place, but dont charge £6.00 for something that in all honesty costs £2.00 to put together with no care or attention. I'm not expecting alot for the price we paid but at bare minimum hot food.

Pop in for a coffee and sandwich after going through what they didn't have had to settle for tuna mayo, for £4 40 I thought I was going to have something nice, 25 minutes later it arrived, couldn't believe it the bread was hard and stale like it had been frozen and the filling was virtually none existent, don't waste your time or money

Visited here for the first time with my partner and had an enjoyable experience. The staff were friendly, polite, helpful and professional. Menu was varied, homemade cakes delicious and prices very reasonable. We opted for a jacket potato with tuna/spring onion which was accompanied with coleslaw and a side salad, a tuna melt toastie, again with a side salad, a hot chocolate and pot of tea. All food and drink arrived in good time, hot and tasty. The refill of tea pot at £0.99 was a great idea and to a tea addict like myself, much appreciated! Cafe was clean and tidy with good distancing maintained within Covid guidelines. It was refreshing to see staff asking whether customers had used the NHS app and if not, taking contact details so a big thumbs up there too! Overall, a most pleasant visit was had and will definitely be returning when next in the area.

Discovered Angelica's cafe by chance, and what a great find, I had the scrambled eggs on toast, simply prepared but delicious, than I spotted the rock cake, very filling and very morish. Cafe was spotlessly clean and the staff were very attentive and friendly, great experience and I will be back soon with friends for afternoon tea

Ate lunch here recently. The staff deal with one person at a time meaning food orders aren't being sent to the kitchen resulting in long delays for food, as beverages/smoothies etc are prepared and payment is taken before the next in the line is seen. While the staff were all lovely and friendly, their productivity was poor. Restaurant was near empty but still one order vanished and had to be reordered and another wait had to commence. While there is a nice menu here, a select your own sandwich filler from a list might be a good option. The cake and coffee were delicious. I would definitely return but will ensure I have no where to be that afternoon.

I've come here very frequently for a bowl of soup. Everytime staff say there is not enough staff to serve food and there's not enough soup left. Food stopped serving at 4pm however I always arrive around 2.30pm. Disappointed with the lack of attention and interested of staff, makes me feel very uncomfortable and unfriendly staff. Today I asked for a scone to please be filled with Jam and cream and the member of staff said no and I should've come earlier. Very unpleasant experience.

I regularly visit this restaurant, which is on the first floor of Morley's in Bexleyheath, normally for tea and cake, but this time we decided on lunch. I chose a mushroom omelette with salad and chips. The mushroom omelette was twice the size of a normal omelette and the mushrooms were not slices but very thick throughout the omelette. There was a decent amount of salad with a dressing and the chips were chunky together they filled the plate. I could hardly finish the meal it was so filling. The restaurant is spacious with comfy chairs and settees with glass and wooden tables, for up to 6 people. There is a wide choice of sandwiches, cakes, teas and hot food all at reasonable prices. There is also a loyalty scheme for hot drinks. If you are hungry, thirsty or just want a break when in or around Bexleyheath Shopping Centre, you should give Angelica's a chance.
