Food was absolutely amazing for a low price and it's been a great laugh before the football match. I don't care if my team gets battered 6-0, I'll still look back to the fun I've had today in this pub (obviously I would care about my team's preformed but I'd have this to look back on anyways)

Excellent delicious Xmas meal. Very friendly service by Abbi who really looked after us. A lovely festive table setting. A great start to our Christmas.

I came with my family for lunch today to celebrate my 60th birthday, we all really enjoyed it and the landlord gave me my dessert for free I had the chocolate brownie and it was delicious. Thankyou so much it was much appreciated 👏 😊

Feeling peckish as driving past so popped in! Smallish car park but managed to squeeze in the empty space at the top. Outside seats full of happy folk, suprisingly nice inside, food really tasty and not a long wait. Staff great too 👍

One of the best pubs I’ve been to. Delicious fish platter meal for £10.99 and my plate was so full of chips, fish, battered sausage, curry sauce, mushy peas, etc. Staff were so kind and friendly.

The drinks are typical pub, which is fairly pricey, but the food was phenomenal. Can get stuffed for less than a tenner. Love the atmosphere as well.

Gone every thursday for the last 6 years for the quiz, always super fun

Crackingly priced pub. Lovely atmosphere. Quiz host is a stallion of a man. Beware if you take the wife or your daughters with you, he's a real charmer.

absolutely lovely staff, we had the gammon eggs and chips and it was perfect. stayed for drinks afterwards and was overall an enjoyable night.

Food was nice did wight long time and peas where over cooked and where cold stake asked for medium was rally tuf part from that was nice all be looking forward to Sunday for the Sunday Dinner

This place is absolutely fabulous I can’t believe no one’s talking about it, also the quiz master is absolutely beautiful I can’t believe he doesn’t do porn!

I love this place, it is the place to be on a weekend, lots of range of drinks available and the customer service is spot on, if you come on a Thursday you will even get to take part in a fantastic pub quiz hosted by a top bloke

Part of the Green King chain a village pub serving pub food. Great menu much more extensive than its sister pub along the road. We had a starter, a kebab, kids menu, chicken dishes & sides. Food arrived in timely fashion; couple of small issues...

visited the ancient foresters yesterday to watch the chelsea game, good selection of lager on tap, had a burger and it was a good portion for the price. friendly bar staff too.

Been to the foresters a few times and love the staff there … the food is amazing especially the new menu but massive shout out to Abigail she is always smiling and happy to help if you need anything service with a smile is definitely her strong point they should be privileged to have her xx

One really rude staff member... made to feel like I was inconveniencing her, barked questions at me and shamed me because my one year old dropped a few chips on the floor, baring in mind I had to use half a pack of baby wipes cleaning the high chair before I'd put him in it because it was grimey!!! She should not be working in customer facing roles, shame because everyone else was lovely and food is decent. Won't come back with her there though

Nicely decorated, a good range of seating areas indoors and lovely young , polite members of staff. last orders for meals on a Friday are at 7pm. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. There is a beer garden, but it's not enclosed.

Have visited this pub twice in the last week, heard bad reviews previously, but it is a great place, lots of different beers & lagers reasonably priced, greene king food deals similar to wetherspoon priced menus John(manager?)was very helpful as were his staff, will definately be returning

The foresters I visited last week was a very pleasant surprise .I have not been in for years.The new improved foresters I was visiting with old friends which was due to a friends funeral the staff were very compassionate and empathetic. They couldn't have done enough for us and the family extended to live streaming the service on the wall mounted tv,s. Thank you very much all at the Acient Foresters

Today just passing on my way home from work I popped into the foresters in wibsey, more to the point I had a slightly bad cut on my shin I was obviously limping a bit so the landlady asked me what's up, told her she helped me out gave me some assistance and bandaged me up, I think her name was kerry if not thanks anyway

Was ok, we were there with old friends from school 30 year reunion it was quite late on almost closing time. You could feel the atmosphere and it was long before there was a fight, glasses were smashed drinks all over. We left when the trouble was moved away from the exit

Was having a good night till a fight broke out & we had to leave
