It's a nice place with tasty offerings BUT!! you pay top dollar for small portions especially with the chips.

Was late and food was cold most probably won’t use again used for a long time but seems to gone down hill

Original delivery time was 7.20pm. Order actually arrived at 8.15pm. I had to go out & find the driver as he went to Tyne Close, not Trent Road! Although the chips were hot & fresh, the scampi was barely warm.

got delivered someone else's order and just eat/ the restaurant don't want to do anything about it. no new order no refund. ridiculous customer service

the fish and chips were fresh and delivered quickly. highly recommended, would defined order again

Food is cold, not fresh and the texture of dog food-do not waste your time

The food was disgusting. It wasn’t fresh, the fries were old and hard and the pie tasted awful. If I could I’d give it zero stars. It was a waste of money.

Grew up around here using this place was good. Current owner and most of his staff seem arrogant, ignore you when you come in and leave you waiting like their time is worth a lot more than yours. It's happened a few times, not just once Hopefully it gets taken over by better soon. Must say the young Asian lad serving was fine and courteous.

Not very nice. The fish was places skin side up on the chips which meant all the batter came off when turned over! Saying that neither of the fish had crispy batter anyway. Don't think we'll be ordering again from here.

The chips were too expensive for the quantity received and the quality of them was poor too 😞 they didn’t taste or feel fresh, lots of dark/ black marks, I ended up picking through the chips to find good ones. Please benchmark your chips against your competitors and you will see for yourself. Also, batter should be crisp and crunchy, what I received last night was soft. I’m sorry to leave this review and I hope my feedback helps you improve quality 🤞🙂

the driver was rude. called to ask if could come too door we was already at door waiting. he then sat in his car bibbing the car hooter. when he did get out he wanted us to go to him to get the food. there are 5 steps up from road to our garden .lazy

Good service hot freshly cooked food

Yesterday ordered large cod and small chips. Well I got a large batter could not find the fish chips not the best I've eaten and to top off I received a service charge £2.25 just for using the shop. It was a takeaway. Well not be back.

All good except drink included within the meal deal was not delivered!

No fault of the person who delivered the food at all, but the food was not good. Arrived cold and the burger was over cooked. Delivery time was constantly pushed back so i would have expected better quality. Cant fault the driver.

Food was so late it arrived cold. Not a reflection of the restaurant. I rang them and the had sent it out 20 mins before I rang. 10 mins after that the food arrived (after another delivery) and was barely luke warm poor delivery organisation from just eat!

Good quality and taste on the food delivered in a timely manner, only down side was the pin asked for!

Lovely gluten free chips. Would love it if they could do gluten free battered mushrooms.

Good food and friendly staff well worth a visit

Driver had a few orders in same bag, wasn’t hot when we got our food. It was obvious by the temperature that he hadn’t come straight to us. But the order was all there and driver was polite. I think in future I will collect as food is usually good from here.

preordered food earlier in the afternoon due to previous late deliveries but this order was 1hour and 11minutes late and the wrong items delivered ordered steak and kidney got steak and onion which was not good very poor service tonight

It was late the first time, but on time the second. It was very tasty, and made a nice change from the normal takeaways! Will be buying from there again!

Normally it's great but unfortunately had some cod roll and it's was horrible and mushy and the batter wasn't great, ended up with a bad stomach!

Food was cold - perhaps it might be due to the delivery man arguing that he needed a code, I said the only number I have is an order number which comes with confirmation, but 10 minutes at the door arguing I lost my temper and snatched the bag and gave him my receipt and said I’ve had enough my food probably ruined- he was still outside my house 10mins I contact restaurant and she said her husband will ring me back but heard nothing back so I won’t be ordering anything until this is sorted

Was asked for codes on an app before he would give me the food which I couldn't find.

Everything was brilliant. The rock batter was crisp, the chips were lovely, and the gherkins were huge.

I ordered the food at 4.30 and it got delivered at 6.02 the delivery time just kept going up and up. last time I ordered from this restaurant they missed off an item but did rectify that issue so I thought I would give them another try but honestly the food was average both the fish and the chips were chewy and tasted like they had been reheated. They won't be getting a 3rd opportunity. As for just eat you need to raise your game as far as delivery is concerned

Very generous portions, good value for the money, scrumptious.

Been using this chip shop since the early 90s and admittedly its been up and down. Sadly the last few times I've been in the Uber Eats deliveries seem to take priority over physical customers in the shop. Tonight it took around 25 minutes from ordering to leaving the store. Meanwhile the delivery drivers were coming and going while the queue got longer. Food was good so no complaints there but just a shame the customers aren't put first rather than some bloke with a cool bag.

Great staff, food is really good, probably one of the best chippies round here since Kevin shut down on the Kestrel Estate a few years back. Recommended 👌🏽

Your driver drove into the close but parked up out side another person's home for several minutes, I stood out side my home with a torch and porch light on then your driver parked up, I had to put my order into our airfryer it arrived cold. Not good after I had sent a tip for £2.

there was no notification that order was on its way. when it arrived the order was missing 3 gherkins. the fish was hard and not nice. very dissappointing

Really disappointed this time. Both me and my partner barely touched it. chips undercooked, fish extremely oily. Seems like hit and miss these days, never know what quality you are going to get.

Charged for someone else’s meal - much bigger order than mine. Undercooked chips and enough raw onion in my burger to give indigestion to a whale. I applaud the business for hiring young people, but please make sure they’re competent.

Unfortunately, this time the chips were undercooked and far too much salt to the point where they can not be eaten.

I want to say a huge thank you to the Manager of Anchor Seafry. My order was mixed up,.I telephoned the shop and matter was resolved. The chips were perfect and the sausage and burger was hot and delicious. Thanks so much ☺️

The best Fish and Chip restaurant in Kent. Always serve the freshest fish. The staff are always helpful and polite I have no hesitation in recommending this place to everyone. They also have a cafe/bistro next door​ great for pizza burger full English breakfast etc.

Food was ok, chips weren't great. Order was missing items, called to let them know, but was basically told there was nothing they could do. Disappointing.

Definitely one of the best chippys in Chatham! 😋 Its like going back in time when I was a kid with this place as over the years chippys have gone downhill and nothing has came close to how amazing our little local chippy was till I came across this little chippy shop in lordswood! They are definitely the best place for Fish and chips in the medway and I've tried them all 🙌

9 times out of 10 I get chips from here they are absolutely spot on! No problem with the service and the place is clean and tidy.

As much as I love my gf Tuesdays I am not going to pay £35.00 for 2 cod, 1 chips and a curry sauce anymore, it’s too expensive

delivery times kept fluctuating, chip's were quite hard fish was poor and the batter was very stodgy. I'm really disappointed I have used this fish and chips shop for many years. l hope they were just having a bad day.

As a family we have been coming to this fish and chip shop since I was a child as the portions are generous and they are very tasty.

Awful, batter not fully cooked. Had 2 meal deals and only 1 can of drink was in the bag when we got home. Very disappointed.

usually the food quality is very good however this was possibly the worst fish and chips I've had from them the chips were scraps and the batter was soggy. the food was cold however that is because the courier did not follow the directions given and spent too long finding us. not happy

really disappointed as usually food I've ordered from here before has always been lovely. I ordered a cod and chips meal tonight and I ended up giving the fish to my dogs as it was so dry I couldn't eat it and I left most of the chips as they were so dry and hard. I got in late from work so ordered my meal quite late so put this down to the fact it had been sitting under the heat lamps most of the night. If I order again I'll make sure I order early in the evening.

Not sure if they have changed hands but this time the food was dreadful (in the past it has been very good). Fish had an odd taste, mine had a massive piece of backbone in it and it was just unpleasant. We threw most of it away.

Great service , everyone enjoyed the meal as we know from the past thus is our favourite place as the quality is very good and large portions.

Been coming here for years and Cannot belive how rude the staff are now. There all around 14-15(or seems so) and are to interested in listening to there ear pods than taking orders and getting them right. Can’t belive how down hill this place has gone with its staff. Food was nice but after service like tonight and last week never again. A customer walked in and asked for a menu, the guy serving didn’t even talk to him and just pointed the the tv menu screens on the wall, the customer said I wanted to take one home to order and all the man serving said was “No” i Felt embarrassed for the owner.

The chips were overcooked and the curry sauce was sweet
