AM's in Rushmoor

That was the last time we’ll use this restaurant, food trays were empty and when asked why nothing was done. Noodles were so greasy it was unreal, duck looked like chicken and there were only few crumbs there, mushrooms were so finally chopped and greasy that they were unbeatable. This used to be a decent restaurant but now it’s gone down hill.

The food here is very poor. Lots of cheap ingredients and very little meat. I think the “spring onion” that went with the crispy duck was possibly leek as it was so tough. The sweet and sour chicken was all batter and very little chicken, the sauce was almost non existent and what was there was gluey and certainly not pourable. Everything was very greasy and looked as though the deep fat frier was their main cooking style. Very little fresh ingredients and everything lacked flavour. To sum up, this is all quantity and no quality. Very disappointing!

We went for a late lunch and were seated immediately. Very friendly staff and attractive high ceiling. Everything was very clean but some of the dishes were nearly empty, and not having my glasses with me I think I missed out on some of the choices. Larger labelling would be helpful for others like me? There didn't seem to be any deserts apart from banana which I'd mistaken for prawn balls, and although there were a lots of dips & sauces I was afraid of choosing the wrong one for the food I'd taken. My son comes here often and seemed to know his way around... This was excellent value at just £11.00 pp

I went along to this buffet to try it out and was not disappointed, arriving at 5 pm for the evening buffet. There were only a couple of items missing initially that arrived a short while later, but they had a very good selection of over 60 dishes from starters, Mains and puddings including a few Nepalese and Indian dishes. The only gripe was that the 2 meat noodle dishes had no meat but just the noodles and vegetables, sadly. There were many other tasty dishes to choose from, and we stayed there for 2 hours as it was not busy on this day. The staff were very friendly and took away our plates quickly after finishing each plate of food. This is a very good buffet for the price and worth a visit!!!!

Great oriental buffet. Reasonably priced for the selection. There were loads of options and we were especially impressed by the desserts (Ice cream, cake, fruit, jelly etc.). The staff were very friendly and attentive. Thanks!

A nice enough all you can eat buffet with a reasonable selection on the menu even at lunch time. They were reasonably priced for the food but the drinks were a little pricy. The staff were very efficient at clearing up etc though could do with being a little more engaging with customers. Overall however, a positive experience and I’d happily return.

This is my go to place for Asian food. The menu is extensive, they have sel roti(nepalese doughnut), nepalese starters Inc momo which are my favourite, Chinese starters and soup.The main dishes are nice a varied, from sweet and sour, garlic chicken, crispy chicken, stir fry vegetables, beef in black bean sauce, 3 types of noodles, chicken pancakes,ribs,seaweed, spring rolls, chicken satay and wings. Rice poppadoms and crackers. Dessert is varied and great from fresh fruit, jelly, ice cream, chocolate and banoffe cake, yogurts, banana fritters with hot honey sauce and jalebi (Indian /nepalese fried dessert). All the foods were fresh well stocked and very very tasty. The staff are friendly.I recommend visiting during weekdays at around 12-13.00 as it's quite and food even fresher. Had late lunch here on Saturday. plates very hot, which was good, but lots of dishes had run out. staff were miserable. i know the ceilings are very high, but a bit off putting to be looking at big black, thick cobwebs. food was ok

This restaurant was perfect for my family and I. We went just before the new year and we weren't disappointed at all. It's great value for money and the selection you get is amazing. If you're with your family I really recommend going to this restaurant.

Went there with 7 friends for a wedding celebration, table had been booked for 19.00hr. There definitely was no need to book, there were only 4 other people eating..That made me wonder why!!! I truly do not like writing negative reviews, but the food was cold, and the place was dirty. The staff however were very friendly. When we left there were just 2 eating in the place..I certainly will not be going back..Having read other reviews on here I am mystified, which is why I headed my review as Marmite, you love it or hate it..

Feeding a family with differing dietary needs is a challenge- so coming here pleased everyone. My father was so happy he wants to eat here again the next time he visits. Great choice of food, unlimited buffet, new cuisines to discover and great value. It is a simple buffet, but a diverse choice, in fact more food choices than was physically possible to eat !

Was Awful, used to use this restaurants for family parties etc, and now wont go in there ! has gone so down hill.. Couple of weeks ago i got a takeaway box and after one mouthful threw the whole thing in bin. Food tasted dirty like old oil had been used. Will not be returning until some good reviews come back ! It is a shame!

Negatives are- not as good as it used to be! They keep changing the satay chicken to the Szechuan chicken. The satay is much better in taste and quantity. Restaurant is greasy looking and staff mill around waiting for you to leave your plate! Sticky tables too! Positive- it is a general good Chinese and Thai and Indian mixed buffet but just feels lacking!Variety is good!They use halal! Bonus however they cook pork here too so I hope they're not mixing and using different pans and things! The owner (short Nepalese guy in his 60s/70s is always very polite and smiley and giving us good service!Toilets are immaculate! Had it last week for the first time in perhaps a year but think it will be a while before we do have it again.

There aren’t many buffet better than this one. You get far too many choices, Nepali, Chinese, Indian n European menu. Prices are decent n if you work with National service you get 10% off from yr total bill. Friendly people. I highly recommended for any occasions.

I am regular customer. I really love this place. very friendly staffs and food are served very best quality. My favorite for Chinese buffet style food in Aldershot. All food looks and tastes fresh, wide selection of salads and deserts. In edition that pork "bhutuwa" and cell roti are the best one.

I don’t even know where to start. As a food & beverage manager myself, I am truly horrified that the lack of food safety, cleanliness and customer service is still been allowed to trade. If I was to write a report on this establishment I would be there for a very long time. The business is definitely running at a loss but yet the management seem to be living on a different planet, please stop, it’s painful to watch. Food hot held for well over limit timings, held at incorrect temperatures. Allergens knowledge nonexistent from staff and management non displayed. The list is truly endless. This establishment has been reported to the local authority and also government food body authority as I suspect the local one is very lax looking at previous reviews and just the general state of other establishments and town. I will not let this go as it’s establishments like this that can cause damage to the repartition of the trade or worse kill someone.

Me and my partner come here quite alot we also come with the whole family,everybody that comes loves it and I honestly couldnt say a bad word about this restaurant.

I would not recomend anyone to go there especially in groups as we received half of things we order but we had to pay for all. Customer service was outrageous.

We wanted to have a food for my football team after game and was wondering where to get the food from. I remembered Ozone AM because I have been here couple times for lunch buffet and the food were tasty and different. I thought I will give a call for a catering for small group. The staff there said they can do catering for small group as well. The price was reasonable but I thought the food would be less. I reminded them that the food is for the players and I requested them to be a bit GENEROUS. When I got the food, they send us some extra nibbles as well. The food were in good portions they were enough for my hungry lads. Additional nibbles made everyone happy. And foremost, they also sent us some dessert to try as a complimentary. This is such a great treat and respect for sports lovers in the community.

The food is terrible and the restaurant has had more hygiene complaints than the toilets at Guantanamo bay. Do not visit.

It is one of the best Buffet restaurant in town . Range of Chinese dishes along side with some delicious Nepalese dish . Would recommend to anyone looking for something new and special.

It seems to have been redone, much better decor and it has returned to its original menu. Food was great with a very good choice for lunch time venture. Everything looked fresh and piping hot. This is our usual eating establishment when we happen to be passing.

We went there for my sister birthday party. we were greeted at the door by a friendly staff and were taken to our table and took the drinks orderand explained how the place worked. They offer quiet a lot choices and everyonevhaf an option to choose. Also there was wide varietues of desserts : cake, icecream. personally, I really enjoyed salt and pepper prawn.

Saturday buffet price posted on one of their external walls is 7.95. above the entrance it is 8.95 for the same thing, and they tried to bill me 9.95 for the same things. i did not order any drinks. when asked why 9.95 i was told such price is on the website.

my kid nearly choked on a bit of plastic that he found inside his food, we didnt even got an apology or a discount or anything, food was a bit dry its been clearly reheated few times i dont recommend it

This is the best place when your very hungry. Staff helpful and look after you. Lots of varietys of different oriental food from starters to mains. Good experience and food.

I went here for lunch, we were seated very quickly. The restaurant was virtually empty. There is not much choice most of the containers were empty. I went round once picked up a few things. I couldn't eat much the food didn't have any taste. I felt they had bought them from Iceland. The tablecloths were dirty. The ceiling was cracked and very dirty. Has to be one of the worst restaurants I've been to. A truly terrible experience. when we left I had to go into the local KFC just to put something in my stomach. I'm surprised we didn't get food poisoning if I'm honest.

Myself and my wife went for the business visit at aldershorte.When we entered to the Euro foods we meet some of friends doing business in aldershort than we went to have a dinner with friends all food was down to earth ,tripical Nepalese curry and the starters with sel roti.

Having not visited the restaurant for a while due to food quality we decided to give it a try. All the food was cold maybe luke warm at a push. The food was dry and seemed as though it had been sat out for a very long time. At 7pm on a Saturday, we would have expected fresher food to be available. We were seated by someone who didn’t say anything which seemed abrupt and rude, this was possibly due to the language barrier. The cost of the meal was something expected of a much higher quality of restaurant.

There wasn't much food available. I was actually waiting for them to refill more food because most of it were empty... This restaurant is not good value for money compared to other buffet that offers wide selection of food for exactly the same price. I mean Cosmo Buffet for example, offers 30-40 dishes, including 15+ desserts to choose from for the same price.... I was extremely disappointed.

An eclectic mixture of foods on offer, buffet style. All very tasty and lots of it. Crispy duck is my favorite, along with sesame seed bread and Singapore noodles. Take a very large appetite with you!

Acabamos de regresar de un buen buffet en Aldershot. Buena variedad de comida no tan aceitosas, con un montón para elegir para mantener su vientre lleno. Llegó allí alrededor de las 7 pm a las 8 pm lo fue ocupado, así que debe de ser popular por aquí. Recomendado para :).

As the heading suggest, please avoid this restaurant and instead go to Mimosa which is 10min walk away.Management was very rude, with no belief in customer care or interest in its customers.The buffet itself, well there was a huge variety.... BUT firstly it comes out cold and get reheated by a machine, secondly checking some of the dishes, all of them are prepared the day before or in the morning - so it's not fresh or hot at all.If you ask to speak to the manager, every waiter is a manager... so don't bother..Sorry but the old restaurant 'AM' was far better, and I will not be coming back here agin.

Always unsure if your getting yesterday's left overs. And it always seems too be a cavalry charge when the fresh comes out. If you are too eat. Eat mid way through their opening times.sure not too get left overs. And by then. Most off the cavalry have eaten and gone.

We went for the all you can eat buffet. The selection was ok and the service was not too bad! Location was central but cannot give it more than 1 star as the food was rank and we couldn't continue to being full. Food was clearly out of date and/or been left to go bad and old (and we tried quite a few bits including duck, soups, Chinese meats and rice). If you can eat the food I wouldn't recommend it in case you and your party has a few days spare for your digestive system to recover

Spacious restaurant serving buffet style foods that include Chinese, Nepal, Thai and some Indian. Definitely something for everyone. Your drinks are ordered from your waiter and brought to your table. Service was excellent, prompt and efficient. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has an Oriental decor and plays background oriental music.Spotlessly clean throughout and food was of a good quality.Would recommend this restaurant to all those who enjoy oriental food.

We had a brilliant time meeting up with friends. The food variety was brilliant and the bar service was incredible. Even with the little kind gestures like lollipops given to our children is a lovely touch. Highly recommend this place.

Staff here were friendly and very attentive, 10 out of 10 for customer service.We have a 3 year old & a 1 year old and weren't charged for the small portions of food they had, which was very kind!Food was nice, wasn't piping hot but warm- but good range!The only thing I can complain about is the disabled/ baby change toilet- which looked and smelt like it hadn't been cleaned for a while, floor was filthy!Also, it is situated at the very end of the restaurant- if you have mobility issues i.e.: wheelchair, you would not be able to access this toilet as there are stairs down to it ('normal' ladies & gents are also situated upstairs)Apart from that, we had a lovely meal and felt well looked after- there was no rush which I have sometimes felt at all you can eats!

This is a centrally located restaurant which serves all kinds of Asian foods and desserts. Situated on Victoria Rd in Aldershot it is a five minute walk from both bus and railway stations, and very close to the pedestrian precinct. The restaurant is in the medium price band and is also licensed.

Great food selection always take the grand kids when they visit really good selection and good service

I have been eating in AM's for quite a few years now, it is our 'go to' restaurant if we are out and want to get a quick bite to eat as it caters for my family's very different and fussy palate.This is a buffet style restaurant so if you don't like serving yourself then don't bother, that said, the food is tasty, there is plenty of choice and it is all you can eat.The staff are welcoming and friendly, they always seem to play Pachelbel as a little background music, (which is fine, I could listen to Cannon in D all day long)Can be a little noisy at times, I suspect this is down to it's popularity however the staff do try and seat the noisier, larger groups towards the rear of the restaurant.Great for families!

Since the refurbishment AM,s has gone from strength to strength, wide range of dishes and eat as much as you like, I always start with the hot & sour soup which is delicious and then on to the lamb madras which is my particular favourite, waiters are very attentive, I am particular where I eat and the hygiene is more than satisfactory, you won't leave this place hungry!!! Can highly recommend.

I have visited this restaurant so many times and everytime its really nice. So easy to choose what you would like. Sp many choices! Lovely chocolate cake wuth cream too! The only problem is the food gets cold easily. But in general, great food and friendly people.

Awful, dirty, quiet restaurant. Staff speak very limited English, the food selection was good, however the food itself was terrible! Tasteless and has left me with an upset stomach for 2 days.Took 3 attempts to get a clean plate!Also chicken balls and spring rolls just tasted of banana fritter as I guess all done in same fryer!Don't go here it was a waste of our money!

Went there for a bite to eat on Easter Monday. First thoughts were it was quiet but seemed nice enough. On looking at the buffet selection we were pretty impressed as initially it looked like the choice would be small. Our first selection was shredded duck and pancakes which were ok apart from the fact my duck had some bones in it.Then came the shocker. On to the main buffet. Despite the food appearing to steam when selecting it when we got to our table we found it to be cold - not one item was even lukewarm. My partner told the waitress this, who seemed to acknowledge it but then basically just carried on clearing tables. My partner then spoke to the manager who said that there was a problem when the water heating system was changed over and they'd used cold water. That was 1.5hrs before we sat down apparently. Now for somewhere that offers foodstuff such as chicken and fish it simply isn't acceptable to offer up cold food. Surely someone should be making sure the food is being kept hot!! The other excuse was that the waitress had only been there a week. There seemed to be no concern regarding the food issue and it would appear staff training can't be up to much if they don't know how to deal with a customer complaint. My advice would be to avoid.

We used to go to AM's quite a bit when we did not live in the area as it was the best buffet we could find, with a great variety.Sadly, it seems to have gone downhill quite a bit, annoyingly since we moved closer! The food is a bit hit and miss and is not always hot enough. The last time we went, my wife suffered from a severe headache afterwards, which she only gets after eating food with MSG in. Obviously this is only anecdotal, but its enough to put us off from going back just in case.The building itself is looking pretty tired too, seems like it needs an injection of cash to get it back up to scratch.Prices are good and the staff are always very attentive, but this doesn't make up for the other let downs.Mimosa, which although is not perfect and more expensive, is our current choice.

We noticed the restaurant has been rebranded as OzoneAM but we didn't notice a lot of difference from our previous visit a couple of years ago. Good points - plenty of choice, roadside parking (pay at meter), slightly cheaper than Mimosa and the manager tries to be helpful. Not such good points - the starters were tepid at best and tasted as if they have been on display for some time. The crispy dishes were no longer crispy. Main courses were warmer and tasty but for the sake of a couple of quid extra per head we will stick with Mimosa.

Food is fresh & plenty of choice, great value for money would definitely go back. Think it's good for couples & family outing for special occasion.

We have been here a few times and if you enjoy Asian food on a budget this id the place to come.Most of the local Nepalese war here and so you feel the place must be a little authentic.The food is tasty, my favourite the lamb Madras curry but there are some 56 dishes to choose from.A buffet style, help yourself is great fun and surprisingly tasty so thumbs up for this place id you want a quick, easy and simple meal.Great for families but not a place for romantics.

We went in the evening to have a nice meal when we got there the guy stuck us on a table next to ramp where children were running up and down all night long.We asked for another drink and it was only when we finished our meal at the that he came back and asked us whether we still wanted it. The dessert section was empty and when asked for them to refill it they said yes but we had to wait 20 minutes when we were waiting to leave.The worst thing know which I think is quite serious and people should know is that the food has made us quite poorly I woke up the next morning feeling very nauseous and couldn't eat anything all day I did feel very ill the following morning after that I had severe stomach cramps and had to sit on the toilet for 40 minutes as my belly hurts so badly. This surely can't be right after eating their food there must be something going on. I would strongly suggest not to eat at that place I will not be going back ever.

AM restaurant is now re-branded as Ozone AM Restaurant. This used to be one of the favourite eat all you can restaurant in Aldershot, until Mimosa became their competitor. We find the staff accomodating and helpful, eat all you can is always a good way to save money, the take aways are really value for money, they could improve the menu list, like, probably a themed dish at least every month, it's becoming boring if you eat the same everytime - varieties would be helpful. Location is within the centre of Aldershot, roadside parking. They may consider having a local survey so that they would know what the locals really wanted. Just like any other eat all you can restaurant, the prices depends on the day and time, week-ends and dinner time is higher. Try their aromatic duck, it's delicious.

Loved the varieties of dishes in buffet area. The main reason behind buffet restaurant 's success always depends upon the quality of much more food provided to customers plus good service. I must say here foods here are really tasty. One thing I saw whilst having dinner there, why they always scared to put more food in buffet. We had to ask twice for few dishes. Not a single member of staff came to our table and ask how's our experience is going on...

Often stop here. Price has gone up over the years, but it is relaxed and you are free to go up and down to the buffet without being rushed. Don't know what it is like in the evenings, as we usually go there at lunch time. Only issue , usually eat too much! I like the variety and that you can have a pudding afterwards if you wish.

This restaurant has quite a contrast in foods to select from ;salads, Chinese , Nepalese and Indian food. I found the Nepalese beer a bit different. The freezer full of ice cream proved popular. Perhaps basic, but very functional and excellent for a hungry teenager or even a fussy eater. The staff were helpful and the place was clean and tidy.

Went here after the original choice of pub didnt serve food. The place is run by an ex Gurkha chef who understands what is important. You can help yourself to around 25 different dishes. Certainly had my fill. Good price, good food and definately worth a visit.

Went for a family dinner but was totally disappointed . Looks grand from outside but interior decoration was a total let down. Needs more effort done with the deco. Also , the food was upto okay standard. Not much variety as u can get in mimosa , camberley . Staff forgot to get our drink so had to remind him again and again. Ozone still needs lot of improvement!!

want all you can eat Chinese food well ams has it the selections are very good but the design of the restraurant is very disappointing other than that the food is kept up with the demand and fresh stuff is always produced and put out

Sorry but I was very disappointed when I went their for an evening meal on Sunday. When we walked in I was less than impressed, it looked like a cafe. The interior obviously not designed professionally .The staff were were attentive no problem there. However the food, and there was a good selection, was luke warm. I tried some "seaweed" which was very sweet! and my favourite crispy duck, but the container was nearly empty, not even a portion remained, but I had what was there with some pancakes. Also had toasted sesame bread, but like I have already stated it was tepid warm. About 10 minutes later I saw some more duck being put into the container so I went up and had some more, it again was just warm. Everything I tried was just about warm. I guess this place is a little bit sweet or sour, you either like it or you don't. I won't be going back..

Me and my boyfriend have been to this resturant twice this month. We love it. The food is really noce and I always topped up. Dessert selection is good as well (especially the chocolate cake and cream). Our bill came to around £30 for a regular coke and a large (and two buffets) this was for dinner and happy to pay the price. We also recived a little mint at the end of our meals :)

This place isn't called AM'a anymore. It has been since changed it's name to Ozone. You can tell a bit of an effort has gone into the renovation of the place, but I am not sure if it looks a bit cheap(?). But hey, on overall it looked like a breeze of fresh air to the eyes.Anyhow, the food quality has certainly improved significantly. Lots of Nepalese dishes added onto the menu, which made me full in no time with just those. I have since gone back there twice already(and again this Bank Holiday Weekend).The staffs I found quite helpful on many occasions, and very prompt too. See you soon.

Good attentive pleasant staff and some really quite tasty dishes. Coupled with eat as much as you like and a very fair price to include duck dishes this eatery is great.

Lovely restaurant with very very tasty food at reasonable prices. A wide range of dishes available on an all you can eat basis which let's you try different things. Staff are very attentive and pleasant too. Would recommend a visit here if your in the area.

Pop in for quick lunch today, Asian Food Buffet, eat as much as you like, there are many selections of food to choose from Thai, Chinese, Indian and a bit of English like Chips, Baguette and olives. It is good value for money considering you only pay peanuts for over 20 dishes of starters, main courses and desserts. Most of the food taste reasonable good and looks rather inviting . The place is clean , tidy and service is ok.

The range of food is quite extensive with most Asian cuisine covered. Food is hot and regularly filled up. Staff are helpful and pleasant. Ideal if you are in a hurry to eat and want a wide variety.

Wanted something quick and easy to eat..drinks arrived quickly! But found the food terrible chicken was really dry and chewy. The duck had sat under the lights way to long as again really chewy. Satay sauce had thick yellow grease floating along the top. Dessert section was a bit weird with happy shopper yogurts? Fruit along side carrots and cucumber? All seems a bit odd!

This restaurant is better than Average but I couldn't say very Good but is Good. For a buffet Restaurant the food was hot and Tasty and of Good Quality not that of a Fine restaurant but for the Price very good and service for Drinks and Plate clearing Very Good.
