Opened at 8:45 as per opening hours, friendly efficient service. Good range of comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. Lovely cuppocino to start my Saturday.

Proper British greasy spoon Eggs floating in the oil, black sausages, lukewarm mushrooms, margarine dripping toast, and cobwebs in the window corner. Seriously, what more would you want

Just had a delicious full English breakfast, pretty reasonable price, amazing Sasauges, crispy bacon, crispy hashbrowns, nice and soft eggs. Really can't fault it, will be definitely going here again

Visited today for the first time. I had a full English and the other half had eggs Benedict. Both meals were great and there was plenty too. The staff are really nice and we will definitely be going again soon.

I made a point of traveling by bus to it because I had previously had eggs benedict there which is a favourite of mine. I was brusquely told that "we are not serving food now only drinks because we close at three." I pointed out that it was only 2.30 "Nevertheless it is drinks only now. OK" It was not OK. Does anybody know of somewhere else that serves eggs benedict since I will not be going there again.

If they had gluten free options they would get a 5 star, but none the less a lovely little cafe, great food and service.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this wonderful establishment and I have to say, it was truly lovely! The food was great, and I could tell that the chef takes great pride in their craft. The staff were all very nice and made my experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend giving this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

I believe this place is family owned. The hosting service was very good and delightful. Very charming interior, you get a coffee shop around the corner vide with a stay. For a family owned business I think the food and coffee is good, beware they are very generous with the sandwich portions. Otherwise the space is great for studnts studying, drop in for a sit down meal and take away. Bring family, friends a date... the atmosphere is for everyone. I don't think they have parking so find some street to park on for long stays. Highly recommend for those looking for something more personable, charming and heart warming!

We visited throughout Covid for takeaway and now they're open properly with new outdoor seating. I love the breakfast muffin with poached eggs, bacon, mushrooms and tomato. Delicious! Staff are so lovely and friendly. <3

Visited on a Saturday late morning. Was pretty busy but soon grabbed a seat. Nice vibe inside with a good mix of people, but could do with some background music imo Had a full English, which was good and well cooked, it also had a good quality sausages (which is how I judge a breakfast) Good coffee as well. Recommended

Very nice cafe, been past this place many times but I'm always driving, however today was different,I was on foot,so i thought no excuses now let's get in the Amoretti,I opened the door and they were doing cooked breakfast it smelled fabulous but I resisted, but I did have a fantastic coffee and a nice piece of cake,but I will be back.

My boyfriend introduced me to this café when I moved to this area. We love coming here and usually coming once a week when possible! The food is top notch and a great value for money. The staff are very friendly and polite and make you feel super relaxed and welcome. My boyfriend usually orders the full English breakfast and I order a tuna melt which I really recommend! The café is well kept and very clean. Great atmohsphere for familys, couples or friends coming to meet for a catch up! You won't regret coming here and the service is like no other.

I visited this cafe this morning to kill some time while having a tyre repaired down the road. Very friendly atmosphere and enjoyed the most delicious egg and bacon roll! Coffee was great too. Just the job to while away waiting time!

I had a full English which was value for money and well cooked. The cooking area and service area looked clean but the tables and general appearance of the eating area was scruffy and tired making me feel uncomfortable. My table had a vinyl cloth partially covering the table but around the cloth the table was sticky and needed a good clean. Glancing round generally the place needed a THOROUGH clean and redecoration. Shame really it's not more inviting.

The chef can produce some amazing but simple food, like the best scrambled egg with smoked salmon on a toasted bagel I’ve ever had. The staff are friendly, and it’s a relaxed place to spend time. And the WiFi is free, without having to sign up with all your details. The coffee is good - from an espresso machine. The cafe and menu is an interesting mix between a “greasy spoon” and a proper Italian-style coffee house.

I visit here at least once a month. I usually come for a coffee or lunch. The food and drink is good and inexpensive. The staff are friendly and efficient and it's nice and cosy. Lovely for a coffee and a chat.

Me and my partner were passing through and saw this little coffee house. The gentleman and only staff member who served us was friendly and polite. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. My partner had a hot chocolate which looked and tasted amazing. Better than any hot chocolate you'd get from a conventional franchised business. (Rhymes with Foster and Fartrucks). I had the English breakfast and my partner had the cheese and caramelised onion toastie. Again, both were amazing. My breakfast was cooked to perfection and the eggs were cooked to a high degree of perfection. I wasn't allowed to eat my partner's toastie, but apparently it was amazing. It looked rather good! Anyway, if your in Leicester please visit this golden nugget awesomeness. You won't regret it.

Went here for a quick coffee to escape the arctic winds. The service was great with the staff very friendly and the coffee well made. Didn't try any of the food but looked and smelled delicious!

I'm a regular visitor for some lunch and coffee and have never been disappointed. (Try the club sandwich, thank me later) Also brought some slightly snobby friends there for brunch and it passed their approval. A Great little non-chain place.

I call in here quite a lot after dropping my kids off at school over the road for a coffee and sometimes have lunch in here with my 4 year old. It is child friendly- lots of kids books and toys to keep them busy, has the best coffee in Aylestone by a mile in large cups and delicious lunches. More people should use it!

Stumbled across this cafe whilst watching cricket at nearby Grace Road. Good options, freshly made with some homemade ingredients, and great coffee. Good, friendly service, relaxed environment. Enjoyable lunch.

Came here for 2 lunches running, the young lady serving was lovely, service was great, food was nice. Small but has books, the day's newspaper, and colouring for kids. Lovely atmosphere and would recommend if you are in the local area.

It does everything from coffee and cakes to a proper full English, with everything in between. Good coffee, good service, sensible prices. What more could you ask for?

We've been here a few times when we visit my Mum from Yorkshire. They have lovely coffee and gorgeous cakes here, and are well set up to deal with our 1 year old wobbling around the place and reading the children's books they have available. It's great too as Grandad and Daddy can order the coffees whilst we nip to Aldi to get some bits and then we all sit around the tables and enjoy a family snack and chat. Wonderful little gem - I can't believe it hasn't got more reviews!

Entering through an unassuming front door, you find yourself in a welcoming open space set up with a range of tables and chairs. There is also a couple of sofas in the window space.

We were introduced to this little gem by our daughter. From an unassuming front, you enter a warm open space with a selection of tables and chairs. There is a soft couch area in the front window and the overall decor is pleasing.
