Food superb. Waiter service by Bessi was 1st class. Atmosphere and food was really good, steak cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend.

Amore is consistently good - the menu is far ranging and the staff are always obliging and helpful. The pizzas are particularly good as are the prawn pasta dishes.

Vinnie and Bessie and the team make you feel like family every time you walk through their door! The food is always delicious and the service is second to none. The restaurant is warm and inviting and always spotless. Hungerford are lucky to have such a special place to go to! Thank you everyone for your 5 star hospitality x

We booked a table for 7pm on Thursday evening hoping we wouldn't be the only 2 in the restaurant!!!! It was just as well we'd booked as main room was almost full. The best garlic bread I've had in ages followed by vegetarian cannelloni and pear & gorgonzola risotto for hubby both equally delicious and Afrogatto for both of us for dessert and house red wine. 2nd night same delicious garlic bread followed by vegetarian ravioli and lasagne for hubby and house white wine, too full for dessert tonight. With great attentive staff this is a superb restaurant.

This is a really buzzy, happy place with an excellent menu. I ate here on Friday evening by myself, and although the place was packed, the service was swift and friendly. My only complaint was that the first waiter, a young guy, when I asked him a simple question about one of the wines, simply replied, “I don’t know.” I was a bit taken aback by this as it would only have required him looking at the bottle or asking a colleague but there was no thought of doing so. For the rest of the time I was looked after by a first-class member of staff for whom nothing was too much trouble, and she thoroughly deserved her tip. Always go pass this restaurant when I’m visiting Hungerford, so decided to give it a go. Very welcoming atmosphere when you walk in, we had booked but we had a choice of tables. We were served quickly, but left alone, which was nice. Food was amazing, we shared the starter, I had pasta my husband duck, both were really lovely, we had lemon cheesecake to finish, which we shared, glad we did cause the portion was large, but omg the cheese cake was delicious. Couldn’t fault the meal, the reason I gave 4 stars is the car park is a bit small, we got the last space, so you would have to park in the town, if the car park is full.

Was in Hungerford for the weekend and went to Amore for a meal. The food was delicious excellent value and well presented. The tiramisu was the best I have eaten outside Italy. Staff friendly and a lovely setting.

My favourite Italian restaurant which never disappoints. On this occasion, eleven family members were there to celebrate some milestone birthdays! Excellent food all round-all three courses were of a very high standard - and the service was first class. Thank you, Vinnie and team, with special mention to Alex.

The children had a swimming lesson in Hungerford so we decided to go to this restaurant which we had passed a number of times. Glad we did. Three of us had tagliatelle, different sauces, and each of us said we wished we could lick the plates. The food was so tasty. The children had pizza from the children's menu and they were a good size and freshly made. The fourth adult had calzone, which was huge but he did manage to consume the whole lot. Service was great and the staff could not have been more helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

What a popular place! Even on a Monday evening it was packed. The food is excellent and the staff are really attentive and helpful. By far the best Italian restaurant which I ever been to.

Dinner at one of my local Italians upon arrival it was extremely busy. Nice table waiter seemed very not bothered just wanted the order. Our starter came was okay calamari on a bed but f wilted lettuce and 1 cherry tomato. Main arrived mine was like warm Raw mushrooms and raw red onion it was unpleasant. Such a shame won’t be revisiting

Nice venue but food was disappointing. It's not a "must go back" place. The atmosphere and environment was good; good table in plenty of space and not too loud, good service. Menu had a good selection, but when it arrived the food was disappointing, it wasn't burnt or very bad, just no better than home cooking. My pizza looked really interesting on the menu with lots of different cheeses and ham, but it was dull to eat with the cheeses all blended into one wafer thin crispy layer. And we had a pasta dish which was on the cusp if being overcooked. Perhaps the B team were in the kitchen.

Delicious food, nice atmosphere, very friendly staff. Had a lovely evening with my family surrounded by people celebrating Christmas. We couldn't decide on desserts, so had the sharing platter (with a banoffee pie on the side!) It was perfect for 4.

Booked on a Monday night, yes a Monday ! Nice atmosphere. Quite a few people in for a Monday evening. Food excellent, service was quick, was full so requested a 15 minute lull before the pudding, which was very good. Been before, always a good experience.

This is a very modern, beautifully decorated restaurant. Having been to the Overton restaurant I had been waiting for an opportunity to visit Hungerford, do we took a detour on our way back from Cardiff to Andover, for what I hoped would be a nice treat. Starters were ok and my grand daughters pasta was very tasty. However the risottos were bland and tasteless so disappointing. Service was pleasant and friendly but chef needs to up his game!

Always good food and service. It is value for money, I have had a lot worse food at much more expensive restaurants.

This was our first time at Amore and neighbours recommended it to us. We went with our 6 year old daughter. The food was fantastic and we ate much more than we intended. The service was impeccable- welcoming, informed, nothing was a problem and we felt relaxed, happy and very full. A lovely atmosphere, can't recommend highly enough.

I rarely review but the food was not a good standard. Garlic bread with cheese had no garlic taste. For main I asked what came with pork loin and was told saute potatoes and roasted veg. I had 2 small saute potatoes and a spoonful of veg. The whole plate swam in a gravy and the pork was so salty I couldn't eat it. I questioned the lack of potatoes with the waiter. His reply was that most people order sides of potatoes. Why do that if the dish should come with potatoes. My partner had lasagne and tasted more of tinned tomatoes. And the house red was not full bodied as stated. Overall very unhappy.

Met some friends here today as a halfway meeting place. Was worth the 45 mile journey Easy parking. Nice welcome. Last night before we travel home tomorrow so a meal with my younger sister in a very comfortable Italian restaurant in Hungerford. Judging by the aroma from other diners food I have high hopes for the meal. Edit. Well the food was amazing. The staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Very nice atmosphere. Good music at a reasonable volume to allow conversation. I just wish it wasn't 200 miles from where I live. Next time I visit my sister I'll hopefully find the time to return. I'd unreservedly recommend this restaurant.
