Chosen the vegan g/f lasagne .firstly they got my order wrong they brought me chips not salad .that got rectified but very disappointed it had been thrown on the plate and not a lot of it looked like slush the cheese was in the bottom and it was solid paid 13.95 very disappointed .others had full breakfast and child's sausage and chips they were a safe bet I should have gone for one of them options .

Tasteless, watery food - but maybe that was just a poor choice. The place itself is a joy. A real vintage tearoom. May stick to afternoon tea next time and avoid the cook's "cooking"

We have previously been to Amelia’s and the quality of food is good with service to match. Today, there is an air show at Amelia’s, so you would expect them to have prepared for a busier footfall. Instead, when I simply wanted to order two drinks, we were ignored for 40 MINUTES! Each time I approached staff to order I was told bookings were a priority and if a table wanted drinks after ordering and whilst eating, they had priority. No offer to take the order and offer an expected timeframe. I mentioned TWICE it was a tea and a double espresso. 15 minutes after being told another 10 minutes, a woman shuffles out like the ‘two soups’ waitress in the Victoria Wood sketch, carrying two teas. Told her I had said a tea and an espresso and she acknowledged and continued to try and give me two teas. She FINALLY realised the order she never wrote down was wrong and went back in. 5 minutes later, out comes a young girl who proceeds to spill half the contents of the drink we have waited almost 1 hour for. I can’t comment on what service is like if you book, but when it comes to walk in service, save your time and money and don’t even bother. Unless you have the patience of a saint. Appalling service, horrendous wait time, ridiculous ordering service and the drinks were not worth the wait.

Another visit to Amelia’s Vintage Tearoom..this time we celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, with afternoon tea. A well thought out selection of sandwiches and crisps. A choice of delicious home made cakes, plus scones with strawberry preserve and clotted cream, beautifully presented and decorated with fresh strawberries. Endless tea, including Earl Grey, served in teapots complete with tea cosies. Special thanks to our waitresses who were very efficient, cheerful and friendly, and to the chef! A very memorable afternoon in delightful surroundings, and a perfect way to celebrate this very unique event.

Have never been to this place prior to today, but can safely safe will be returning. We received a wonderful welcome, the place itself is amazing. We only had tea and dessert today, but it was gorgeous. The tea is served in bone China cups, and food all home made. Sat outside as the weather was so nice, lovely outside seating as well as inside. Amelias is definitely a hidden gem, and well worth a visit. Can't wait to go back.

We were guests here for a recent wedding reception, stunning! The first impression was wow, beautifully laid tables with all the personal touches, chairs covered and bowed, the atmosphere was what you'd expect from an intimate bespoke wedding. Without the hefty price tag. The weather was hot and in the evening you could either dance with the DJ in a separate room or sit on the patio and enjoy a chat. The food was a 3-course meal that catered for my gluten-free vegan daughter too. Nothing was too much trouble. Very good value for money.

We all enjoyed our first trip to Amelia's. It was further out than I expected. We don't live close by so don't know the area well. I wouldn't have known where it was & didn't know the little airport was still running. Amelia's had been recommended to me by a friend & said they were dog friendly so I didn't have to worry about leaving my puppy. Although we had booked a table it wasn't too busy. The tearoom was light & airy with a vintage type deco. The staff were very friendly. There was a reasonable selection on the menu & they catered for gluten free & vegan. I had the gluten free lasagne with chips & peas. They also supplied gluten free bread. My husband had lasagne with garlic bread & chips. Our friends both had gammon. The portion sizes were more than ample & the food was well cooked. We all enjoyed our meals & I even got tempted into having dessert. We all enjoyed the desserts too. We will definitley make a return visit.

Only spotted a small advertising board by the road so went in search. It was worth the effort. Well laid out to comply with social distancing, the cafe area has views across the airfield. The staff were friendly but seemed distracted by craft items they were working on as well as waitressing which resulted in delays. The menu was quite extensive for such a small place and portion sizes were large and the food well cooked. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely worth looking for if you're in the Pembrey area.

we found amelias cafe upon seeing a sign heading to pembrey airport, as we are both plane fanatics we found pembrey airport on google maps then came across this little amazing cafe with fab staff. We got to really know them and visited 4 times during our 1 week stay in st clears. we got chatting to winston who owns the airfield and he was so informative about everything military that has been associated with pembrey. we were even cheeky enough to ask if they were expecting any RAF training to come near pembrey airport and winston told us the the navy were training and were coming to the airfield for re fueling so we could pop back on that evening and see that happening and get some closer photos of the helicopter. We were so happy by this and even one of the owners of the cafe was there that evening and even tho the cafe was closed he made us a cuppa to keep warm while we were outside waiting for them to land, and had a good chat with us for a while so friendly and welcoming. To add to this experience the lads had stopped for re fuellin and some food and one of the pilots had seen us waiting and taking photos and come over to us and then ofdered to take us closer up to the helicopter and have our photos taken with them. This whole experience wouldnt have been possible without winston and his daughter and son in law who run the cafe, so welcoming and have amazing food for such a small price. The cafe is so lovelt decorated and so clean and welcoming if you are around the area i defo reccommend a visit to see these guys you wont be disapointed which lots to chose from to eat and drink which is so reasonable priced you can complain with great company.

We too were there on the day of the practice air display by the Ravens, and like the couple who flew in, we too were so disappointed that the Carvery was 'on hold' for the summer. I have to say it was a slow service day, but I guess that can happen when lots of people are waiting. It's a very friendly place, but I don't think we will return until the Carvery is on offer again. Great shame because it really made our previous visits, and resulted in our previous 'memories' review. Sundays, after all, are very much roast dinner days for lots of people. We are aircraft owners and had been looking forward to flying into Pembrey as part of our bucket list of things to do on a Sunday! We had been recommended that the Sunday lunches were superb and having browsed Amelia's very impressive website we decided to go for it today. My husband rang and booked a table via the airfield yesterday for the Sunday lunch. Sadly when we arrived the place was very quiet - worrying - apart from an aerobatic display team who were practicing for the coming season! On arrival we were told that the restaurant had stopped doing Sunday Lunches for the summer and would resume in the Autumn. We were very disappointed as there was no mention of this on booking and also the restaurant's own website is very out of date and has no mention of this!! Sadly it went from bad to worse as there was little on the menu to tempt us and I ended up having a sandwich and my husband faggotts!! The service was very slow and staff rather lethargic! the most exciting thing was a free flying display, we will not be returning!!

The tea turned out to be just the ticket! The set tea was very nicely presented and was homemade. We enjoyed the leisurely tea whilst overlooking the airport airfield. We will defenately go back on another occasion to sample the other treats on the menu.

I have been meaning to come here for some time as I have heard about it word of mouth from the locals. It is tucked away near Pembray Airport and as such has lots of parking. The staff are friendly the cakes tasty and all thing considering excellent value for money.

Amelia's Diner at Pembrey Airport is one of those hidden treasures we are all on the lookout for. Friendly staff with an unstinting capacity to make you feel welcome and really lovely homecooked food made to order while you keep an eye out for planes coming in. With its vintage touches it is not only an attractive place to visit and it's ease of access means the whole family can manage to get around whether in a buggy, on sticks or using a wheelchair. A really nice place you'll want to go back to again and again.

We recently booked and visited this establishment for a Sunday roast / 93rd birthday party, (not me by the way!) as we were staying locally for the weekend. Well what can I say!!, as soon as I arrived, the outside looked like someone’s house in this tiny, yet beautiful village, however once over the threshold it became apparent how large and beautiful the inside of this pub was, even Doctor Who would’ve been impressed with this tardis! I and another family member were greeted by a warm and friendly faced landlady, and she was a lady! Asked where we were from and made us feel incredibly welcome, then she let herself down by undercharging us for our pints £4.50 each!! At home in Wiltshire I pay £6.50 for the very same pint. We were shown to our own large table (11 people), set on our own. This restaurant was impeccable. The food was perfect with some difficult family members dietary requirements, even the chef came to the table which turned out to be the landlord, what a nice guy he was too. This place was so good, I felt only obliged to buy the landlord and landlady a drink to say thank you for looking after us. After giving the 93-year-old the bumps to celebrate, we left happy and fulfilled. Thank you guys!

Not been here before, what a lovely venue. Food was delicious, well presented and served by a lovely friendly server. It is rare I leave food but I could not of eaten another bite. The lovely gentle piano music in the background was so nice and relaxing. We eill definately be returning here.

Just back from a lovely Sunday Lunch at The Pemberton Arms, there was even a menu for the dog, although as he has no money of his own he was out of luck! Louisa was very polite and helpful, will definitely call again.
